This was the second time I had called Weidners about excessive water in my sump. I called them about a month earlier when my sump pump was pumping about every 12-15 minutes which continued 24/7. Then the time decreased until it was pumping every 8 minutes and finally every 2-3 minutes. Weidners came out twice and both times, one guy tall with long brown hair and one short and stocky, argued with me. My home sits high on a hill and we have an 8' covered porch around 3/4s of our home which limits the amount of water around our foundation. I've lived in this house for 15 years and our sump pump has never pumped this much ever. I thought that perhaps the outside line had frozen or collapsed and the water was recycling. Finally I called another plumber and he discovered that the line was blocked and YES, the water was just recycling as I suspected. Michael installed a temporary, above-ground line and now everything seems to be back to normal. Don't waste your time calling Weidners, unless the job is easy, they don't want to be bothered.
