Insites Painting & Decorating

The project went extremely well with excellent results. The only challenge was the non-stop rain we had this summer (no fault whatsoever of Mike's) in which finding more than two consecutive non-rain days was nearly impossible. But Mike persevered and completed powerwashing on one day, followed later by the staining. What I most appreciated was his willingness to stain my deck in two phases, so I didn't have to move my very heavy deck furniture into my house (I have no stairs to the deck). This was an enormous help to me and much appreciated. My deck looks beautiful, and I've finally been able to enjoy it this year.

Very well. I've had Mike out for at least 4 projects.

Mike transformed natural cedar siding into beautiful painted paneling for my entire lower level of my house. Took the time to fill each gap and knot hole in the paneling and did multiple layers to ensure the look stayed. Good guy to work with.

Mike was professional, courteous, and prompt. He did all the work himself. The rooms look GREAT!! Mike has an attention for detail and also covers all furniture, flooring, etc. His price was fair and the work was great.

It went well. The rooms look fantastic. There was a lot of work done around white molding and the work was precise, no sign at all on the molding that the rooms had been painted.

They did an good job. They were very professional.

Very impressed with the work that was done. Mike is a perfectionist and a professional. Showed up on time. Worked full days. And did great work in going over what the construction crew left him to work with. Would hire him again and would recommend him to friends. Actually just hired him to do the exterior based on the work he did. A four star hire.

Mike did an excellent job! We are very pleased with the quality of work and enjoyed getting to know him. We plan to have him back to do interior painting in a few months. His wife Sarah is very responsive and great to work with also! We highly recommend them.

Quoted several painters including Insites, I unfortunately picked the cheapest painter which turned out to be a disaster and had to terminate them. Called Insites to requote and I could not be more satisfied. Mike cleaned up the sloppy spots that the other painter did and completed the job in the agreed time. I wish I had used Insites in the first place it would have saved me a lot of frustration. Mike seems to take pride in his work and I will use him again.

I highly recommend Mike for your painting needs. He did a great job for a great price. No complaints.

Insites' Mike & Sarah were not only the first to respond to our request for an estimate, but called within a couple of hours and then promised to come over the next day. We thought that was great but, then, I remembered that the next day was Sunday and I told him that he must mean Monday. But, no, he actually came over Sunday morning to examine the work and gave us an estimate that evening! He also said that he could begin that Friday. What service! We were ready to hire him on the spot, however, we had already invited three firms to give an estimate and thought that we should allow them to do so. In the end Insites was also the lowest bid that we got. Mike always arrived when he said he would, kept us informed, and cleaned up at the end of each day. In addition, Mike took down our house numbers when painting the house and painted them to match the shutters and front door, a nice touch. All in all Mike was punctual, paid attention to detail, offered helpful suggestions to help us get the house ready for sale, and did good work. We plan on using Insites again later when we do some interior painting.

Mike was always pleasant, courteous, patient, and polite; both in giving the estimate and doing the actual work. His price was the lowest of the 3 bids we obtained: and, with his Angie List/BBB rating and his helpful demeanor he was an easy choice. He was also able to work around our schedules and needs; and he was able to adapt his price/schedule when living room needed third coat and our bedroom windows were late being installed. He was also able to do a couple of odd jobs for us in the process of his time with us, which really helped us out. Our only small complaint would be the lack of adequate clean up-- (some smudges on windows and wood work, dust on furniture, etc.) but this would not stop us from readily using his services again and wholeheartedly recommending him to our neighbors and friends.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. 1. HONEST. 2. DEPENDABLE. 3.WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND HIS DUTY. 4.BEST OFFER AMONG THREE BIDS. 5.LEFT THE REMAINING PAINT TO TOUCH UP IF NEEDED IN THE SPRING. 6. USED THE BEST PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET. WHEN MIKE WAS CHECKING THE WINDOWS HE NOTICED THE BLINDS WERE NOT SNAPPED IN PALACE AND HE FIXED IT. HE ALSO LOOKED UP ON THE ROOF AND NOTICED MY GUTTER WAS BLOCKED, HE CLEANED IT.. WOW OH WOW ! I WISH ALL THE THINGS I NEED DONE ,OTHERS WOULD ALSO BE AS KIND.. MIKE WAS AN ANGEL SENT TO MY RESCUE.. THANKS MIKE AND SARAH ,SINCERELY CAROL CALCITRAI

It went fantastic from start to finish. Estimate was detailed and complete. Work began and ended on time other than the snow day. But really can't blame them for missing a day when we got two feet of snow. :) Especially when you're told the day before. Perfect job, would have them do any other painting I need done.

All three jobs were performed on time and within the schedule including accommodations of various time when the area would not be available. Insite provided the color samples, procured the paint, covered areas that needed to be protected, painted the areas and then cleaned up. They hauled away the trash and consumables.

The work was professional and completed in a very timely manner. Very punctual, efficient and reasonable priced. He helped with suggestions on paint colors and faux finishes. Mike did a fantastic job and we were very pleased with the end result. He definitely knows his stuff. He moved all the stuff out of the way for painting (and put back when done), and was very careful not to get any paint on furniture/floor/etc. We absolutely LOVE the faux painting job he did to to two of our walls. He is very thorough. We would recommend Mike to anyone that needs a professional painter.

My husband and I used Insites Painting and Decorating in 2010. We were expecting our first daughter and we were excited to get the room painted professionally! Insites Painting and Decorating were very professional and friendly. Easy to work with and very flexible as to setting up a time and date. The painting was clean, quick and efficient and done flawlessly. We would certainly recommend this company to anyone. The room looks great and we could not be happier.

My wife and I were having our first child and we were excited to learn we were having a boy. We immediately began the process of choosing colors for our son's room. It was important to have just the right colors. Once we were ready to do the painting we knew we needed an expert who would make the room perfect with a focus on details. We choose Mike from Insites and received a prompt quote that was in our budget and we set a date that he would do the painting. He came on time and was very courteous and mindful of our house and furniture when he brought his painting equipment into our home. We was very attentive to our final thoughts on colors and even accommodated a last minute request in how we wanted the room painted. Mike did an excellent job and painted our first child's room perfectly.

This man is FANTASTIC!!. We contatcted him regarding estimates for exterior painting (soffits, gutters) and interior painting (sun room, great room and hall). When he arrived he looked at the inside first. I asked for a faux finish on one of the walls in the great room. We wanted something that would go with the marble by our fire stove. I had 2 different colors of paint sample jars and he asked if he could show us what he would do. We told him to go ahead and he took the samples and did a small area. It was PERFECT! He made it look so easy! He then went out and looked at the exterior. We recieved his estimate the next day and I called to hire him and schedule. He came to do the outside first due to weather. He power washed the house and then did the painting. We have large stones on the front of our home and therefore no straight edge. We did not find a spot of paint on any of the stones and the edge to the soffit was perfect. I was very impressed. He then came to do the interior painting. Again a flawless job. No paint on any of the oak baseboards or floors. The faux wall is amazing. As he was applying the coats of paint there were a couple of times where I was very happy with the way it looked but he felt it needed more. I told him to go ahead, he was the expert and when he was happy with it, I would be too. I was not disappointed. He even used a small paint brush to do around the windows to blend all the way in. Mike was very detailed and careful. He did the job with no distractions and without wasting time. I really can't say enough about this man. He can be very proud of his work. He's the best and so are his prices. Hire him!
