Description of Work: Normal AC clean and check. Found two capacitors, one for a furnace blower motor and one for the AC compressor that we nearing end of life. I have always been proactive with my mechanical systems, so I asked the technician to replace them before they failed. At no time was I pressured to purchase the parts. I have been very happy with the services I receive from All Temp!

Description of Work: The technician performed the annual inspection, cleaning and filter change on my air conditioning unit. | |I've been using All Temp for several years. As usual it went well. The technician was very careful to wipe his feet, etc. when he entered the house and to clean up afterwards. | |All Temp is not the cheapest but they're the best value which I've found for A/C service. They know what they're doing and have the equipment to do it.

Description of Work: Clean and Check of A/C, Furnace and Humidifier; complaints: Original installation was done in a manner that did not properly level the furnace which caused condensation in the PVC exhaust to back up into the furnace which resulted in a shutdown / no-heat condition. This was corrected at no-charge. | |But subsequently this repair inadvertently caused one of the wires for the humidifier control valve to become pinched against a floor joist metal plate fastener that overtime worked it's way though the outer jacket insulation causing the insulation of 2 interior wires to be cut through and become shorted. Again we were without heat for a period of time. | |They fixed the problem this time as well. | |To sum up, the initial installation (done by All-Temp about 4 years ago) should have been done with more care to help both parties avoid these 2 events; a little hard to take when you spend 200.00 each year to "maintain" these 2 important systems.

Description of Work: I have used AllTemp for several years for routine maintenance. This time they came to replace my central air conditioning unit. I was very happy with all aspects of the installation, including the salesman who came and gave me my options right through the installation process itself.

Description of Work: Called just after 8am to ask for service on a furnace that was not working. Someone arrived before 9 am. Determined that the repair would be costly, so I was presented with all options, including a new furnace. Sales guy came out and presented more options, including an attractive deal to replace both furnace and our aging (>25 yr) A/C unit. Opted for that. New furnace was installed that afternoon, while A/C compressor will be done in spring. Very professional, very responsive. Not an inexpensive day, but I believe we were treated fairly and honestly.
