Overall, I think All-Temp avoids the packaging frills that some other larger companies have, but they make up for it with a more reasonable price.

Would be hard to imagine how it could have gone better, used Angie's coupon and saved $30 on top of it all.

From the quality of the job performed and the professional treatment to the performance of the systems ,we are very happy with Four Seasons . Also the warranty is great . We now have cool air in the summer up stairs.

They were prompt and professional. They were responsive and able to fit into my busy schedule. They did not try to sell me any unneeded services which I greatly appreciated. They were personable and did not leave a mess when the job was completed.

It was excellent. They were very knowledgeable and nice. I am very happy with their service. He explained thing pretty thoroughly for me as well. I am definitely going set up a annual contract with them.

My AC was not cooling. I called All-Temp and they gave me my options (recharge the unit , replace the coil which had a leak or replace the unit). Pete told me the units motor (which is 17 years old) was working great and he would not at this time replace it. Pete gave me the price of a new coil, which was more than I could afford at this time and was about 1/3 of the price of a new unit. He recommended that I recharge the unit, which was less costly and would definately get me through this season and maybe next season as well. He was extremely professional and honest (something you do not see much of anymore). I highly recommend All Temp. It is a shame that Angie's List does not have a rating of A+ , as Pete deserves it.

They were fine. He did a great job. There are no problems with the A/C so far. I thought he was really, really nice. He seemed very professional. I called at 9:30, and they got there at 5:30. I thought that was pretty good.

Our 24 yr old AC finally died. I called All Temp. The technician came out and confirmed that the motor in the AC unit had failed and we agreed that it was not worth repairing. He provided us with a quote to replace the unit with a similar sized unit. I asked for some options, i.e., "good, better, best". He said he would need to have a sales person contact me, which he arranged for the following evening. Richard came out the following night and performed a load calc per our request. He determined that we needed a larger unit, 5 ton versus 4. The larger unit would also require a modification to the cold air return on the furnace, a "wrap around", to increase airflow. We got another quote from another highly reviewed Angie's list installer. The other installer came up with the same needs and recommendations as All Temp. Coincidentally, both installers' quotes were EXACTLY the same total cost, and we did not disclose pricing to either. We chose All Temp because we had a $90 credit from the service call that would be applied to the purchase, and All Temp was able to schedile the install sooner than the other installer. The install took longer than they had thought, from 9AM to 6PM. Apparently the wrap around was more involved than they thought. The installers (Levi and Tom?) were nice guys and they did a great job. They held to the quoted price. Everything looks good, and more importantly, works great. The old system was incapable of keeping the house at 74 if the outside temp went above 89 or 90. We hit 100 today...temp in the house was 74. Very pleased.

Abe was very accommodating and knowledeabe. Also provided me with quotes for system replacement, which I asked for.

I called to inquire about a relocation of an existing unit. Didn't get time to explain details, found out that there are no free estimates. Time and Materials - can't remember how much for getting a person to come out and estimate a job (minimum time/cost was for 30mins). I did not schedule an appointment as I'm not expecting to pay for an estimate. I can't shop around if that's the case. Price - Bad Estimates should be free Responsiveness - Excellent Person answered phone immediately Professionalism - Fair Person did not gather details. Angies list page says call for details regarding Free Estimates; person didn't elude to anything other than paid estimates.

The problem was, they came out Friday afternoon and they were booked on Saturday with installations- and Monday was a holiday. My problem was Sunday and the Monday were to be in the high 90's. No A/C would have made things pretty uncomfortable. My technician called and they squeezed in an appointment for me. Troy came up and worked very hard to get the new unit in. He was very nice, professional and did a great job for us. I've been using All-Temp for 15 years and they've never let me down. I am sticking with All-temp because they've proven to be a fair, honest and reliable company.

We called All Temp on April 18 to schedule an estimate; Chris was able to get out to see us the next evening (April 19). He was prompt, courteous, and helpful. He arrived a few minutes early for his appointment, introduced himself, and asked what we were looking for. He examined our existing equipment and made recommendations based on our unit size (condo). He sat down with us and went over his recommendations in detail, explaining why he recommended one model over another. He made sure all questions were answered to our satisfaction. He even called back shortly after leaving as he'd forgotten to include the special they were running for the month of April, and so adjusted the pricing accordingly. After meeting with competing representatives, we called Chris back the next day to confirm that we'd be going with All Temp and scheduled installation for April 25. They also confirmed that they'd take care of getting the necessary village permit. Juan, the lead of the installer team, arrived on time. After familiarizing himself with the layout, he and his partner got to work. They did a fantastic job with the install, everything was done quickly, efficiently, and professionally. They tested everything after install to make sure that it was working properly. Juan showed me all the maintenance basics for the new system and made sure I didn't have any questions. They cleaned up the work areas before leaving. From arrival to departure, the entire process took just over four hours. All Temp's policy is to have a post-install inspection done within two weeks of the work. Steve arrived today (May 1) during the requested window and happened to arrive at the same time as the village inspector. Both found that the new systems were installed well & according to code; the village inspector was quite impressed at All Temp's own inspection policy and indicated that it was uncommon. Over all, this has been a fantastic experience. Good pricing, good service; we'll definitely be coming back to All Temp for annual maintenance.

I belong to a discount club that includes a spring cleaning and tune up of my air conditioning unit and a fall cleaning and tune up of my furnace. They're always on time, reliable and reasonably priced.

First, Chris came out to evaluate my needs. He reviewed the options and answered my questions. Set up installation 2 days later. Levi and Matt came out at the designated time. They removed the old units. Installed the new furnace/AC. They cleaned up after themselves. Hauled away old units. Levi explained everything to me. They were very professional and polite. I am extremely pleased with their work, and how they went about it. I would highly recommend ALL TEMP to anyone needing HVAC work.

I called for an emergency around 9pm last night and spoke to someone at their answering service. The woman who answered the phone was rude and couldn't answer any of my questions. I told her I need to schedule someone ASAP and asked when they could come out. She said she didn't know and someone would call me back in 24 hours when I just told her I needed at least a call back last night. At the end of the call she didn't say bye and just hung up on me. I was not rude to her during the call and just stressed I needed to speak to someone ASAP about service or at least know when they were coming. Someone did call me back this morning to schedule. I told them EXACTLY what the problem is per Nicor and they still told me there is a $89 diagnostic fee. Due to my experience with the woman last night and their diagnostic fee I will not be calling this company ever again. Other companies I have used in the past didn't change just to show up.

I was very happy with everything they did. They were on time. The only thing was the no caulking part.

They guys that All Temp sent to my house did a terrific job, Mike and Todd. They showed up when expected, and took the time to go over all of concerns and requests that I had. They even went to a hardware store to support one of my last minute requests/changes. They were very clean; took extra care to ensure they didn't track dirt/mud into the house, used their own vacuum to clean up after the install, and packed their scrap material and garbage out with them. They paid attention to the details, and the final product was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this company to any of my friends or family.

First let me say I received several bids from several other companies. Art Martinucci told me exactly what we needed, didn't try to sell me a more efficient units then what we needed. All Temp was very reasonable about when I would like to have the job done. I went to see the All Temp facility in Wauconda and to my surprise to see so many people working their in the office. Art gave me a tour of the facility I was impressed. Two workers came at the time they said they would be their to install my heater & air conditioner . Looked at what they had to do, reconfirmed with me what Art might have told me. Put runners down to not dirty the carpet and wood flooring. Worked through lunch cleaned everything up & then explained the system to me. Until I was confident that I understood. A great Company!!

Fine! Abe is very professional. He cleaned and checked the furnace, replaced the filter and replaced an outlet in the kitchen of my condo. He also replaced the thermostat in my house last month. He arrived on time as promised. Would recommend this company to friends and family.

Their whole service call was $89 but they took the service call for $59 as I had taken the coupon. They were great. They came in and just showed me the furnace and everything. I went down and explained what I wanted and told them to check it out. So they came and checked it out. They told me that it was only two years old and everything looks well. They explained and told me that everything was working well. They did tell me that my duct work was adequate for my furnace and didn’t see any problem so ever.

We purchased a home in Chicago in 2005 and have used this company to inspect and maintain our furnace and A/C. A job change forced us to move out of state and lease the house. Over the years the technicians have been telling us that even though the furnace was aging it was still in good shape...that is until this past Fall. The inspection found some major problems with the 21 year old unit that compromised it's integrity. The technician (Chris) explained to me in detail what he found and that in his opinion the furnace should be replaced. In as much as we were having new tenants move into the house 2 days later, we decided to have the unit replaced as soon as possible. The technician was able to get us on the schedule for the very next day to have it replaced as to not inconvenience the new tenants. He replaced the unit with a more energy efficient unit which I liked. He also worked to give us all the discounts he could including the Angie's List discount. Because we live out of state, I next day mailed the check and everything worked out well. We are very happy with the outcome. We will continue to use them for the regular maintenance on our heating system.

He brought a shop vac and cleaned the furnace. He said there was a minor crack in our heat exchange. He said he needed to replace the heat exchange and/or both furnaces which would be $8,000. I was unsure about what all he said so we had another company come out for a second opinion. The second company said that the furnace was fine and didn't need to be replaced. We feel taken advantage of by All Temp. I would ALWAYS get a second opinion if you use this company.
