From the start, Dave was easy to get a hold of and showed up at the promised time. This was something I was not used to when dealing with contractors! Bryan performed the actual work and it turned out wonderfully! Everything looks great and my husband and I are thrilled with both the fencing and upstairs remodel. The cost was a little high, but I think you get what you pay for. Had we gone with a lower bidder I don't think we would have gotten such great results. Plus we had a very small time frame to get the work done and Dave was able to work with us on that. In addition to this, Bryan and Dave were so professional that I had no qualms about trusting them in my house while I was at work. Even my dog (who doesn't like men) became friends with them! We will definitly be giving River City a call when it comes time for our next project!

I called Dave for a price on repairing or replacing my privacy fence and replacing boards on my cedar deck. He came right out and called me the next day with his price. He was courteous and professional.

Overall, we are very pleased with our decision to use River City Carpentry. We put our project out to bid and met with 4 different contractors (including River City). We found River City's bid to be quite competitive and highly detailed. River City coordinated everything from making sure the proper permits were acquired to coordinating multiple deliveries of materials and moving those materials through a narrow gangway. River City was persistent and worked in some pretty harsh elements, in some cases the temperature fell to 10 degrees above 0. They continued to work and completed the project in a timely manner. The crew was courteous and respectful at all times and kept me apprised of their progress throughout the project. Additionally, they sought input on aspects of the project that required "work-arounds". In one case, River City was flexible and we worked on a Time & Material basis for a "one-off" project in which we weatherized the second-story walkway out to the new deck. Their pricing is fair and they provide exceptional quality. It was very apparent that each member of the crew took great pride in their work and craftsmanship. We are very pleased with the project and would highly recommend their services.
