We are putting a 2 story addition on our house and adding 2 new bathrooms. We paid Rick a down payment of $900. He came in ONE day and did minimal amounts of work....maybe $200 worth. He stopped showing up. My contractor put several calls into him and he wouldn't return the calls. Our project at this point was at a stand still until Rick could finish the job. Finally, I, the homeowner, called him to ask him what the deal was and why the work that was supposed to be finished a month ago, isn't done and why he had been MIA. He came up with every excuse in the book, including saying that he simply didn't have the time and that he'd get around to it when he could. We need a plumber in there now as our lease is almost up in our rental and we have to get back into our house. Living there right now is not a possiblity with a toddler as the conditions of the house right now are unsafe. When I asked for our money back so that we could get a new plumber, he got upset and cursed me out, saying "F-You LADY" and "I'll give the money back when I feel like it." Then he hung up on me.
