+ -1 moreOverall,, it went well. Delivery was set up when we ordered, and it went as scheduled. The Woodfront team was punctual, thorough and skilled. Cabinets now look very nice, and function much better. Some problems with contract details: 5 large pull outs were in the contract, but not ordered. Installers re-measured, and were installed in about 2 weeks. Granite for new cabinets took 3 deliveries, and coordination by me. The contract specified a 4 " backsplash, but it wasn't ordered, so they had to remeasure, and return 2 more times to get that installed. Team installed a pivoting corner pullout - they had never installed it before, so I was a little worried about it, but it works great. One thing I wish could have been worked out: the contract included them re-installing an over the range microwave. However, when we took it down, we discovered it couldn't be re-used. We had also ordered new runners for 2 bathroom drawers - initially for my husband to install later. Since they didn't have to spend time to re-install the microwave, I asked if they could install the bathroom runners. I was told it would be a $50 installation fee. Didn't have them do it. Seemed like a simple swap to me, oh well.
Description of Work: Updated from 60's pine to new hickory: Refaced all cabinet drawers, built new doors, re-vamped cabinet design, added roll out shelves, added roll out corner insert, installed new 72" cabinet with 4 drawers, garbage can insert, and 2 slide out shelves. Installed new granite on new cabinetry

+ 2 moreThey were good, very affordable, and prompt in their service. They gave us a discount on the gutter helmets because we had de-watering done and the cabinets done by them. The work they did were very good and they cleaned up after themselves. They are sort of an all-around.
Description of Work: We have used The Woodfront Kitchens. We had our cabinets resurfaced from them. We had de-watering the basement done by them. We had our gutter guards or helmets done by them. We talked with them for an estimate for a new countertop. They are coming out to look at the countertop measurement on Thursday and probably give us an estimate.

Description of Work: I did a complete kitchen remodel. I stopped by the showroom to choose my cabinet stain/style and counter tops, and to make an appointment for an in-home estimate. Mike met with me to review my kitchen, take measurements, make suggestions and provided an estimate which included my cabinets and granite counter tops plus labor. We set up an install date and he also provided me with other contacts for flooring, electrical and tile installation so I wasn't on my own. He also patiently answered all the questions I came up in the interim period while I was waiting for the install. |Wood Front resurfaced my 1970's cabinets, and installed two new cabinets which included roll out shelves and a spice rack. The light over my sink was replaced with a show box shelf. | |The team showed up on time and got all of the cabinets finished in two days, as promised. The granite was installed on the third day. My kitchen looks beautiful and completely updated. The doors are Amish made and of good quality. The inside shelving was replaced so only the original boxes where retained. They guys were friendly and respectful of my home. They offered to cover my floors to avoid damage, which wasn't necessary since they were going to be replaced, but thoughtful. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was O.K. before they left. | |Everyone from the sales staff to the installers were friendly and helpful. I am a very satisfied customer.

+ -1 moreQuoted kitchen/bath updates. Two day job I was told. Paid them on 5/16. Still waiting for countertop for 7' island in kitchen and countertop for custom vanity in main bath. No water in bath for over 2 wks and no update from the supplier the recommended or Woodfront for two weeks now. Would not recommend or use again due to lack of commnuication with the customer. If you want to micro manage your entire project, give them a call. I regret that I did.

+ -1 moreWhat was done was done well. However, follow up was horrible. One cabinet replacement took 9. Yes. 9. Months to get resolved. Owner was almost rude and his worker was snippy because I expected error to be corrected. Phons were seldom returned. Never recommend. EVER. I think that if a woman is making the decision that they cannoli us and cheat us!

+ 0 moreTHE CRAFTSMANSHIP EXPERTISE OF DALE AND MIKE WERE OUTSTANDING. THE NEW CABINETS WERE MADE IN ARTHUR, IL BY THE AMISH. THEY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. THE REMODELING STARTED WITH DAVID WHO PLANNED WHAT OUR NEW KITCHEN WOULD LOOK LIKE AND HELPED US WHEN PROBLEMS POPPED UP. HE MADE SURE EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE END RESULT. LASTLY, DALE DID THAT LITTLE BIT EXTRA TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING CAME OUT PERFECT. IT MAKES YOU WANT TO USE WOOD FRONT KITCHENS AGAIN.
