I am satisfied with what they accomplished. People were polite and explained what had happened. At one point there was a misunderstanding, but they called me back and took care of everything. Very Pleased!!!

Sergey and SP Fence were great to work with. They came in with a competitive quote, were very knowledgeable about the fence types that I was looking for, and I am happy with the quality of my new fence. The quality of the cedar wood was really top notch. There were a few hiccups with the installation (we initially got the wrong posts installed) but they came through and fixed the issue right away. I was impressed by their professionalism and the amount of responsibility they took to make the situation right. I would trust them again with future jobs and will refer them to friends and family looking for a trustworthy family-run fence company. I posted this on yelp also because I feel strongly about my positive experience with them and I have been burned by contractors in the past, so this was a nice change.

They were outstanding. They did an excellent job. Very professional and fast. Looks great. They even completed it earlier than expected. I would recommend them to anyone. Pricing was a little high, but worth it.

Job was really small, Contractor was not able/interested in performing the Service. Easily was able to full refund.

They did an amazing job. On time, on budget. Great clean-up and the guys who came out were fantastic, nothing but A++ work.

From the initial contact with Sergey to the final bill payment I could not really have been more pleased with the entire process. Sergey came out quickly for initial measurements, gave me several options on the spot, and sent me a proposal based on our selection that same day. They offered credit card payment in 2 lump sums without any additional fees for using a card, which we found nicely differentiates from at least 2 of their competitors. Throughout the process of scheduling and estimating I was able to get in contact with both Sergey and the office quickly if not immediately. Once we arrived on the actual day of service Jesus and his 2 crew mates arrived on time to the minute and were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They worked diligently for hours and along the way I only had to be involved twice, once because I accidentally had them plug into a power source that wasn't strong enough and tripped my breaker and the other time so we could adapt on the fly because of some concrete that was stopping our original gate plan from coming to fruition. In this second instance, Jesus explained the issue and offered several alternatives to fix it. Ultimately, they built me a gate that is a beautiful double door when we had planned (and paid) for a single door without thinking twice about it since it was no one's fault that the concrete became an issue as it was discovered on site. Originally I had been told it would be a two day job, but they turned it into a one day job by not wasting a moment of their time. They cleaned up everything and let me with a gorgeous pine fence that looked perfectly even and sturdy even though they had to traverse a hilly back yard and several levels of concrete. I would happily recommend this company to any of my friends family or neighbors and feel confident that they would receive fantastic service. Really a fantastic job!

One of the owners came by to provide an estimate. He was friendly, polite and extremely knowledgeable about their products. The estimate was quick and fast.

Great, Mike went out of his way to make my repair job perfect! .He even changed the latch on my gate, without me asking him; because he felt the current latch was flimsy. I was very happy that I hired SP Fencing company. Great company, great price. Will use them again!

The upfront sales process was excellent. Sergey listened to my needs and worked with me to define the project. He was very friendly and responsive. Compared to other quotes received, SP Fence was slightly lower. I was told that the work would begin 4 weeks from when I received the permit from them. In actuality it ended up being closer to 7 weeks due the wet weather and subsequent backlog. My only criticism is that they could have communicated better during that period to let me know what number I was in the backlog and when the anticipated install date was. I called them twice during the waiting period to get this information. Each time I called I would get a call back form their operations manager within a day. The team that installed the fence was very professional and skilled. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to dig the post holes by hand. The privacy fence went up within the first day and looked exactly as I pictured it. They came back the next day to install the driveway gate. This involved removing a section of my neighbor's chain link fence and extending my existing 3' fence using recycled materials. Even though the manufacturer of the original fence material was out of business, SP Fence was able to come up with a custom post and gate that matched the fence style and made it look original. Overall, I was pleased with the work and I would use SP Fence again in the future as well as recommend them to others.

Little difficult getting the salesperson to return my call after he gave me an estimate. Once we got past that, everything went smooth. Installers were very courteous, got to work site at the time they were supposed. The Lead worker was very helpful, answered any questions we had, and made appropriate recommendation on changes that should be made to make the finish product look good (our yard has several high and low spots). They even dug a hole for a mail box post for me and installed the post at no additional charge. Job site cleaned up at the completion of the work and the Fence looks excellent. Everyone I have dealt with from the installer to the individuals in the office have been very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend SP Fence to anyone looking to get a fence.

My yard definitely had a fence and vine problem. No doubt about it. The fence was falling down and the vine was wrapped in the fence. A big thick vine and many small trees and other "sprouts" coming up around the fence on both sides. I contacted multiple fencing contractors. Many were slow to respond, some were downright rude. After talking to a few fence companies, I was worried that the vine being wrapped in the old fence was posing a real problem to getting the fence replaced. I was starting to lose hope that I'd be able to get a new fence. I thought gosh, I can't be the only person with a vine stuck to their fence. Scott from SP Fence came out - he didn't bat an eye. Found my horrible fence and vine to be a rather run of the mill problem and not to worry, they could take the whole mess away and put in a new fence. Music to my ears! I had originally intended to replace only one side of the fence but upon reviewing my project budget, Scott said he'd be able to do both sides plus a gate to make it easier for my son to get the lawn mower in and out of the yard. Wow! Yay! I didn't know how to get a permit and Scott took care of that as well for a small fee. The day the fence was to go in, it was cold and wet and started to rain part way through the day. The installers did an amazing job removing the old fence and cleaning the area around it for the new fence. They installed the new fence the same day. I'm not kidding - it looks like I got a new yard, not just a new fence. They did a fantastic job. Paying for a new fence isn't a lot of money for some people, but for a single mom, being able to tackle something like this is a "big deal". I'm extremely pleased with the results. They did fantastic work at a reasonable price. I wish all of the contractors were this good!

Thse service was good, but I never received the the $200.00 deposit that was paid thru the Angies list made on 3//28/15. So what happened to the deoosit money of 200.00.

Installed new cedar gate at my home last year and SP Fence returned this year to fix a latch that broke and to repair another gate where the posts that are set next to this gate had shifted during the wither freeze and needed to be manipulated back into place. I made 1 phone call and they were here the following day, fixed everything better than new and the best part....NO charge ! Laurel and Sergey were outstanding to work with and we have referred them to two other home-owners in the local area. They were extremely responsive to our questions and were extremely easy to work with. We were on vacation at the time of the installation and they were great in providing updates throughout the process. They coordinated with the City in obtaining the permits and worked with J.U.L.I.E. to avoid digging into gas lines. Best of all, they were, by far, the least expensive of all the estimates we received. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a fence.

We needed a higher fence to replace our current one, since our recently adopted dog jumped our fence with ease. We called a couple places to come out and go over options. Sergey from SP came over to our place, and was on time, very friendly and helpful in deciding on what fence was good for us. We decided after a meeting with another company that SP Fence was who we felt most comfortable with doing the job. They were great to deal with throughout the whole process, the crew showed up on the day scheduled and were very professional. They did an excellent job with the new fence, and tore down and removed the existing fence. We couldn't be happier with the service, and most importantly when the dog tried to jump it, he came up well short.

It was great. It's a great company. Customer service was great. The price was reasonable and they did a really good job. Their sales manager was very informative, really nice guy, professional and very prompt. When he said that he would do something or be there or get back to me, he did that right away so I appreciated that great service. I checked around and A for price for what I was getting done in my backyard.

We decided to go with them as their bid was competitive and I felt confident in the family owned company. Once we signed our contract, they were able to get us in right away. The fence is beautiful and we couldn't be happier!

Well we decided to go with SP fence for our install and we're very satisfied with their work. The crew came on time, the work was done very professionally. Everything was cleaned up and left really tidy. The fence looks great and we're very happy with the work. Came out to the estimate on time for a new fence in our backyard. Sergey showed us alot of different styles of fences we can go with to fit our budget. Installation went good and was quick and clean. Would recommend to other home owners if your looking for quality service.

We just moved into a new house and we needed a fence put up for our huge German Shepherd. We first contacted this company because our new neighbor who is also our realtor highly recommended them. He had a fence put up the prior summer and it looked beautiful. He raved about how they fixed it after his landscaping company bent a few of the bars. We got a quote and my husband was sold right away. We loved that it was a family company and that they always responded to our messages right away. We never had any wait time since we got text messages letting us know they would call if they were busy at the moment. It was nice to feel like we were important to them. After choosing them to put in our fence we put down the deposit and they came about 2 weeks later. The men who installed the fence were great. They all spoke english and seemed to be like nice people that I felt safe around. This means a lot when have a newborn baby and are home alone. We had a row of bushes that were on the property line of our house. These bushes are about 30 years old and we tried to clear them back the best we could but we didn't do quite enough. We were very nervous that they were going to put the fence on the other side of the bushes making our yard smaller but they took the initiative and chopped the branches off without charging us extra. This meant a lot to us. Putting up the fence was a very easy process and once it was finished it looked like it came with the house. (No dirt piles and you couldn't even tell where they just dug the holes because they blended all the dirt in perfectly.) All our neighbors comment on how beautiful the fence is. Since we put it in in August 2013 we had the ComEd guys dig up one of the posts and in our eyes ruin the fence. We called and within 2 days they fixed the post so you would never know they touched it. We also had our landscaping company hit a post and dent it. They came out again within 2 days and fixed it for us. I would highly recommend this company. It is really easy to put up a fence, take the 10,000 dollars and then charge us every time we need something fixed but this company stands by their products/service.

My grandmother called one day and asked me to take a look at her fence. She complained that it was old and one side looked like it would collapse at any moment. I took one look at it and it was clear that grandma needed a new fence. I have a busy work schedule and that meant I couldn't devote too much time to this. I needed it done right and it had to be fast. I called around for some local contractors and collected quotes. The only guy that showed up on time and didn't reschedule on me was Sergey from SP fence. He quickly measured and gave me a quote along with options. I received other quotes and he wasn't the cheapest but it was a fair price. I took a look at the different materials he offered and we decided to go with the cedar. I liked that he was honest and up front with the price. He simply said what it would cost and when he could do it. We picked a date that worked for both of us and it was done. Once finished the project manager checked the job making sure everything was done correctly. The fence looks great and I have a lot of confidence in this company. I highly recommend them if your in the market for a fence.

SP Fence is an excellent company to work with! They are a family business and treat you like family! They scheduled a FREE estimate for me right off the bat and I had someone at my house the next day! We went over options and pricing and they found the best fit for me. We love our new fence and so does our dog! I would recommend them to everyone!

SP Fence did a great job with my fence. We received several quotes and they all came in around the same price. We went with sp fence because thy were local and we liked the family owned company. They completed the job within 2 weeks and the job looks great. Most importantly, my kid is contained in our yard! I would recommend them.

First of all, the ENTIRE reason I was getting a new fence was because my dogs could escape the chain link fence & I needed a fence they could not escape from. I had numerous conversations with Sergey about keeping the dogs in, making sure the fence was installed as close to the ground as possible (following grade) & durability of the PVC fence. I even modified the style I chose to ensure one of my dogs couldn't climb it. I was referred to them & this is how they treat referrals: 1. Changed the style of the fence I ordered, took delivery of it & didn't tell me until a few days prior to install 2. When I decided to cancel my order (due to #1) they offered me a $1500 discount not to cancel. Once I accepted that, every conversation after included them reminding me they were not making any money on my project (their fault) 3. They forgot to call JULIE at least once, delaying install 4. I came home day of install to find the crew digging OUTSIDE of the plat of survey (which I was told they use to follow where to install fence). They dug (6) 3' holes outside of the fence line, damaging perfectly good sod 5. They damaged a gutter/downspout & did not tell me (neighbors told me) 6. Workers were supposed to use metal detectors when digging for property pins, they did not, further damaging lawn by digging where they didn't need to 7. Workers were seen urinating on the side of my house, left blades & pieces of iron in my yard, mud everywhere. I even found traces of cement on my siding 8. When the project manager removed the old fence, he left 3 pieces of old fence/concrete laying in my yard - 2 of which are still there 9. Workers do not pick up JULIE flags after intall, leave it for homeowner 10. Fence was installed anywhere from 3"-12"+ inches about ground -leaving huge gaps where my dogs can escape through 11.In the part of the fence where the gap between the bottom of the fence & the ground is about 12", they piled dirt up so high to cover the gap they created drainage problems in my yard. Water flowed out of my yard in that area & now sits in a huge puddle because of the dirt. 12. During installation, I had concerns & called/emailed them numerous times, for which I was told thing would "be taken care of" - they were not. Then Sergey went on vacation & I was told I'd have to wait 2 weeks before anyone would come out & look at my concerns - by that time, it had snowed & was too late & we had to wait until spring 13. They refused to fix the huge gaps between the ground & the bottom of the fence, except for 2 sections - I had to have the Village of Schaumburg contact them because the fence wasn't in compliance with code. 14. On the day of scheduled repair a few weeks ago, after arranging my work schedule to be home, I was contacted that day to say they would NOT be out because (again) they forgot to call JULIE. Now it's been raining so much the repairs will likely be delayed another few weeks due to the standing water 15. Within 2 weeks of the installation, parts of the fence literally fell apart 16. One of the gates doesn't close properly, posts aren't plumb 17. Project manager literally was yelling at me in my driveway the day I found them digging outside of the plat lines. Instead of working with the customer to resolve amicably, he accused me of lying about a conversation I had with his son ( sales). I am still in dispute with them as though they have said they'd fix some of the issues, due to their JULIE error & now all of the rain, I am at the mercy of the weather. I would not recommend them at all - very unprofessional, sloppy & clearly only care about money. Once they knew they weren't going to make any money on my job, I think they stopped caring. I found this on their website - clearly it doesn't apply to me!!!
