Description of Work: The crew arrived at my house at 8AM sharp. They were to install about 175 feet of aluminum fencing and 75 feet of chain link. We soon discovered that the land around my house contained a large amount of rock which prevented them from using the auger to dig the post holes. Consequently they had to dig 42 inch holes by hand. They worked very hard and completed the task in 2.5 hours. After inspection they then set the fence posts, which in the front of the house had to run across a 20% grade. They did a fantastic job, the aluminum fence is engineered to slant with the grade and the crew made sure that all posts were level vertically and all matched evenly horizontally. The fence looks spectacular even on the grade. I really didn't want a fence, I had to get one to control my dogs. However, at the end of this the fence actually makes my house look better. I couldn't ask for better job or product.

Description of Work: They dont work in the city limits of Chicago...doesnt say that anywhere in the "offer" and when I had an online chat yesterday on their website I asked about working in Chicago and her answer was yes.

Description of Work: Removed 2 sections of chain link fence and installed wood fence. |It seemed like there was a lot of communication between the estimate and getting me to sign the contract but lack of contact after. I had to call multiple times to find out when/ if I was on the schedule. This was especially frustrating as I also had to get my own permits and therefore am now temporarily out $500 for a permit bond from the township until the inspection is done and a refund is processed. |They didn't inform or provide the work crew with the new plans of where one part of the fence was being moved back a foot. Good thing I was out there to explain or it would've gone in the wrong place. |Clean up of the area after was pretty non-existent. I had to dig through the grass to pick up pieces of chain link, pieces of smashed concrete and metal parts out of the lawn before I could mow. |Did not go as smoothly as I would've liked. I probably would use the same provider but will also do some more checking around than I did.

Description of Work: SP Fence installed approximately 390 linear feet of white pvc fence. They provided a very competitive bid for a large job and were flexible in the scheduling and our choices of top layers. They removed our chain link and did a very nice job installing the pvc fence. I would have rated them all "A's" except for the fact that the gate hinges were installed facing out to accommodate an outward swing requirement due to our pool. I asked to have the hinges changed so they did not look so obvious from the street view but was told, "that's the way they are made and there is nothing we can do". Frankly, I think they could have at least attempted a fix but they did not. As a result, my assessment of professionalism and quality could only max out at a "B" rating.

Description of Work: I contacted SP Fence to fix 3 gates, a few broken boards, and a few loose posts. Their company minimum for a project was $850. I spoke with Sergey who is their salesman and he worked it out so I could get the gates fixed now and the rest done in the Spring. We had just finished an in ground pool project and were real tired of our yard looking like a construction zone. Sergey flexibility helped us with our immediate need and let us push out the digging to replace the bad posts until Spring. SP Fence is honest and will work with you to meet your needs.
