Promptly returned my call for an appointment. Scheduled within 24 hours. Over time vent screen had deteriorated in two locations in the attic. Roy did and excellent job of repairing the damage and removing the debris. Very pleased with this service and will be forwarding their info to my homeowner's association newsletter and my realtor.

Fair price, professional and polite service technician, fast response and work time... Nothing much else to say except this is the right people to call and you will not be disappointed!

The Handyman carpenter who services the Naperville, IL area is so good, I have used this service for a number of additional jobs. Originally I contracted with Handyman to send a carpenter to replace some rotten sofits and pieces of rotten siding during summer, 2011. Later I used Handyman and the same carpenter to put in a new bathroom window and to replace some rotting fence posts in the Spring of 2012. All the work was done quickly, excellently, and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them and I certainly will use this company again in the future when I need work done.

I've used handyman connection a few times in the past, and my latest experience was consistent with the work done for previous visits. Their contractor (Hans) arrived almost exactly on time. He spent a few minutes reviewing what I needed done, checked the materials that I had bought prior to his arrival. In no time, I had his estimate and he was working on installing my light fixtures. I had asked him to install two fixtures under a cabinet and a third overhead fluorescent fixture. The work was completed quickly -- less than an hour total. The best part is that aside from throwing out the boxes and a few loose parts from the old fixture, I had almost no clean up -- Hans cleaned up the work area as if it had been in his own home. As I've said, I've used Handyman connection a few times in the past and always been pleased with their service. Hans in particular was very helpful and professional, and I would not hesitate to request his service the next time I call handyman connection.

Came out gave an estimate. Then did work - for most part stuck to estimate. Did balk at some things that were more time consuming than expected or anticipated. Alan worked to find a good compromise.

Everything went well. They completed the job right as they said they would. They also kept to their estimate.

This was a smooth experience from start to finish. The appointment was easily made. There was an estimate given before work was done. Everything was finished and done well. All the work surfaces were cleaned when he was finished. The handyman was polite, answered questions, and worked efficiently. I would call them again.

The job went very well. The workman was prompt and completed the job on time. I was very pleased with the service.

A trim piece of our vinyl siding had cracked above the garage door several years ago. This allowed water and moisture to seep into the pressboard trim above the garage door. Over time the pressboard began to show cracks and I was concerned that if I let it go it could cause damage to the actual wood frame of the garage door opening. I called a few companies out to receive estimates on replacing and was pleased with the estimate given by this company. After reviewing the estimates of all companies, I decided to go with Handyman Connection primarily because I wanted the product with the least amount of future maintenance. After giving them the go ahead to schedule a time, I was contacted by Alan and we set the date for the 15th of the month. The weather and temperature would determine if they could do the work or not so I called the night before to confirm that we were still set for the next day. Alan confirmed the date and time stating that the craftsman would be out around 10:00 am the following morning. The next morning I received a call from their office that the carpenter was running late but would be there soon. I wound up calling them between 11:00 am and noon to find out what was happening as he had not shown up yet. To me running late is 30 minutes or so. I was told that he had a helper and the helper had been delayed but I was still scheduled for my repair and that he would be there soon (again). I called a third time around 1:00 pm and was told that he had just spoken with the carpenter and he was on his way. At about 1:30pm the carpenter showed up and apologized for being late. He did not have a helper with him so I don't know why I was told that his helper had caused the delay. In talking with the carpenter he explained that he was delayed by the lumber yard where he was getting his materials. I accepted his answer and he got to right to work. It would have been helpful to me if the communication between the office and the carpenter had been better relayed to me. While I appreciate the initial call to tell me that he was delayed, I would have appreciated another call once he was delayed by more than 30 minutes. This was the only "problem" I encountered and is also why I did not give an A rating in a couple of categories. The estimate given by the carpenter for the cost of materials was very accurate and I was able to use a Angie's list $50 coupon toward the work. Overall my experience with this company is very positive and I would use them again in the future.

They did a wonderful job. It was a difficult project, and the were able to complete it within 2 days. The craftsmanship was incredible, and they also gave a reasonable price. This couldn't’t have turned out any better. I would highly recommend them.

I recently used these guys when I needed painting and sealing done. I was so happy with them I called when I had an electrical issue with my hallway lighting. They sent a technician promptly and he was able to fix the problem quickly at a fair price. I love these guys !

They didn’t know how to hook up the dryer when they hooked up the washer, so they just left. When I sent an e-mail with a lot of things, they responded. They did call and send the crew back out here to install the siding. The contractor said it was to connect the washer and dryer, but they said it was just to put them in. The part cost $18, and it took them about ten minutes to install it. We waited one week for that. We weren't satisfied with the service. We would absolutely not use them again.

Overall, the experience was good. I did some price comparison and Handyman Connection had the best price. They did a good job and had a nice follow up.

The gentlman showed up on time and did a great job at a fair price. I would definitely hire him again !!

No one was able to come out that day (and even if they could I would have feared for their safety using a ladder) but Jerry came out first thing the next morning. He took the old piece, found a place that could match the color and shape it, then installed it the next day (it took a 40 foot ladder to get up there). He then checked around my house and nailed down a couple of more pieces that were coming loose. I was very happy with the work and will call them for any future handyman work I need.

Our jobs were small and relatively simple, but he gave them the same attention you'd have expected on a complicated job. He was very professional and did an immaculate job at cleaning up.

Carol quickly called me back after leaving a voice mail. She noted my problem with the intent to contact me with available dates for a quote and possible repairs. As promissed, Carol promptly phoned me with an update: the roofers are busy, they will be busy, no one can see me today, tomorrow or ever. Carol kindly wished me Good Luck with my roof. I can only think that the perception was that this job is too small to justify Handyman Connection's efforts. I have a long list of projects for which I need a handyman -some could be very lucrative for a contractor, such as finishing a 1600sq ft basement. The roof was a priority, but also an opportunity for this company to impress me and win the rest of my business.

We recently have purchased an old house and we decided that we would like to make the bathroom look nicer and not spend a fortune.The original tile was old and broken,the vanity too big and didn't go with anything.So I contacted the Handyman connection and they did send two different guys to give me an estimate.I really liked both of them but the first one couldn't install the new tile so we decided to go with the second one Ed.He did an excellent work,I'm very please and happy with my hew bathroom.It looks totaly different.His work was perfect.

Two men came to do the work. They were very nice and professional and did a good quality job. My only complaint is that the price was too high. When you divide the price by two (two people), and then divide it by the number hours it took to do the work, it worked out to around 80 dollars per man per hour.

It turned out well. The price was fair and they were efficient.

We have used Handyman Connection in the past and have always been impressed with the professionalism of these handymen. However, the most recent experience was quite and I'm afraid to go back to them. I wish Handymen Connection would do a better job at calling its customers to follow up on the satisfaction of the job! And also wished Handymen Connection would hire folks with better professionalism that would keep the customer in loop!

Corey installed a wall for us and not only did he do a quality job, but he was very clean (inside the house) and he was able to do the work within two days. We encountered some issues (moving an outlet) that Corey was very helpful with suggestions. We still have some more work to be done (once we get our door), but at this point I can safely say that Corey has done a wonderful job and I would not hesitate to call Handyman Connection for any needs going forward.

Joe was on time, very professional, ran into problems removing cabinet but never complained.

They enlisted Corey to come out. He provided a clear quote and was available the next week to start. Corey quickly understood what I needed and provided a high and low estimate. The end job came out on the high end but the work was well done. I graded the responsiveness as a B because I called the main office to confirm I wanted to move forward and a gentleman took my name and stated the owner would call back. I didn't receive a call back and called Corey directly to begin work. The owner did respond promptly during my first intro call.
