It went really well from start to finish. It was clear on speaking to Brian of Express Painting that he was very knowledgeable, had lots of experience dealing with precisely this kind of project (cedar siding) and was very professional. His quote was very reasonable for the amount of work involved. The work started precisely on the date we agreed to, the painters were professional and they finished right on schedule. Eight months and a winter later, the paint still looks great!

Express painting was one of three Angie List companies I called along with one company not from Angie's List that was suggested to me. Only the latter non-Angie List company and Brian with Express Painting followed through on coming out to give an estimate. It was with Brian of Express Painting that swayed me to contract with him on performing work. While discussing the work of ONLY staining the exterior he became aware of my desire for carpentry work in replacing a laundry room exterior doorway and repairing wood trim weather stripping which had been damaged by the previous owner. He stated he had people that could handle these projects prior to his staining and do this work at a reasonable price. Additionally he mentioned he could paint both my garage doors and back patio entry doorways for a reasonable price as they did need attention. His offer and pricing both for his work and that of the carpenter made MY DECISION EASY. He promptly set up a time the following week for his carpenter to arrive and perform his work. The carpenter showed up as scheduled. During the exterior doorway replacement water damage was found and repaired immediately. I had no problem in this 'extra' being done without my knowledge since Brian and I were on the 'same page' for doing a job correctly! With weather being a time constraint remaining work on the exterior was started the following day and was finished in two days by his crew! Work performed was much to my satisfaction and eased my mind in caring for the exterior of this home I had just recently purchased this year.

I contacted them for an estimate and they agreed to come the following day. They failed to show up and never called back.

Very good job. Came when they said they would. Did a professional job and cleaned up afterward. Good communication with owner while the crew was here working.
