It went great! I found this company by researching online -- I was looking for someone who could repair my sewer line without digging. My line was broken/damaged underneath the street -- and this would have been an absolute nightmare, digging up the street, dealing with the city, etc etc. I had been working with another sewer company who also claimed to be able to repair this without digging -- but was never able to get them to actually come out and do the work. (kept saying they would call me soon to set something up, never did, etc). After calling Advanced, they scheduled an appointment for a couple of days later to do a camera inspection of the line (there is a charge for this service, by the way). The technician, Steve, was extremely courteous and informative -- put me right at ease. He spent a long time inspecting the line, showing me where the damaged areas were, and explaining to me how the repair process would work. When he left, he said the owner, Clayton would be in touch with an estimate. A few days later, I spoke with Clayton, also a super nice guy. He provided me with a written estimate, and as luck would have it, they had an opening the very next day -- so they came out and did the work. They did a great job. My line was in pretty bad shape, and there was some concern that the necessary prepping/cleaning of the old pipe might cause it to collapse (which could have then turned into needing to dig), but they were extremely careful, and were able to get the new liner in with no digging. These guys really know what they are doing. Highly recommend them!
Description of Work: They repaired (relined) my damaged sewer line without digging up my yard.

Our sewer drain was clogged with tree roots. We had a previous company come out and told us we needed to dig up our front yard and cut into the sewer line so they could get rid of the roots. I got a second opinion from Advanced and was so glad I did. They were able to fix the problem with a hydro jet - no digging and much cheaper than what the previous company had recommended as the fix. Plus they came and fixed the problem the same day in just two hours! I highly recommend Advanced.
Description of Work: Our sewer drain was clogged with tree roots. Advanced came out and in two short hours had the drain working again - no tree roots and no expensive digging or replacement of our sewer line.

We woke up one morning to a nasty backup in our basement shower stall. After a few hours of using my homeowner skills to try to clear what I thought was a standard clogged drain, I called in the professional. Clayton was referred to me through a friend and trusted source. I called him up and explained what I was experiencing and he was pretty sure my sewer line was damaged. He was able to stop by that same evening to inspect and perform a jetting of my sewer line. He showed me with his cool camera where my old clay sewer line had collapsed. He cleared the line as best he could, so we could get through the weekend, and scheduled the repair for the following Monday or Tuesday. He also told us to call him at any point over the weekend to jet the line again, so we could live in some comfort. We survived the weekend without having to call him back.Monday, the digger is delivered to my house. Tuesday, Clayton and his partner show up and get right to work. Correct permits are pulled. Old pipe gets dug up. More inspections for damages. Since the rest of the line was in excellent shape, the new pipe gets installed. Back in business :) Wednesday, repair is inspected, passes, and the hole is refilled.Clayton was a real hero in this situation. He was professional and courteous the entire time. He understood the stress we were going through with having a broken pipe and provided us much assurance throughout the process. We never had any problem contacting him. Today, you can barely see where the repairs were made. The dirt mound receded fairly quickly, about 2 months after the service, thanks to some good rain. We trust Clayton and would definitely recommend him for future service.
Description of Work: 2 services performed: 1. An emergency call to power jet the house sewer line.2. Dig-up and replace a collapsed sewer line.

Nothing was done. We will call someone else who can give us a truly free estimate!!
Description of Work: I paid for Angie's list, contacted this guy based on his great reviews and coupon for free service call for Angies List members! When we called him to come out for the estimate, though, he said the $85 service call was free, but he would charge us $250 just to put a camera through the pipes and give us an estimate. Even though I all ready received a free estimate from a plumber who did the same thing with a camera for free!

Every part of the repair went well. I felt well informed, much time was spent in explanation.
Description of Work: I had been having flooding issues for various reasons for the past year. It's complicated by the age of my home, there is a grease trap and other glamourous features only old homes have. I choose these guys because of the new technology they offer for pipe replacement. I had had pipes to the sewer replaced in the past because the old clay pipes deteriorate and collapse with age. It was very costly, messy (dug up lawn, sacrificed perrenials). I suspected that this might be needed...These guys came and schooled me, used a camera, showed me and cleared the pipes. They determined that I did not need new pipes now, although they could have tried to sell me on the new tech, they were honest and told me that we could monitor the situation. Then they said that they guarenteed their work for two years and guess what! It has been raining like crazy and no water in the basement or backing up in any unspeakable area! It is like a miricle. Also they came quickly! After all was said and done, I considered it a bargain.

Worked until sewer drain was clear and assisted with contacting city to clean main line.
Description of Work: Excellant overall. Good response time even on Sundays. Honest appraiser and quality work. Will find best solution for your sewer problems.
Excellent overall. I had originally contacted my plumber who's only solution was to trench and lay all new pipe at a cost of at least $3200 - they had told me they routinely have to replace these kind of pipes because they collapse and install with all solid pvc. My situation was a bit more involved because I had a run of pipe under a concrete patio. I had spoken to a friend about the idea of locating the source of problem with a camera that could travel length of drain and then do a spot repair instead of replacing the whole run. I found Clayton's company (Advanced Hydro-Jet & Rooter Service Inc) and he explained that they do this type of work frequently and have the camera and a high pressure system that can usually clear most obstructions. Clayton did need to re-schedule because another job that he was working on was taking longer than planned and then once again when the weather was poor (lots of rain). Each time he called and explained the situation and I could tell he really cared and wanted to retain my business. I find this type of follow-up rare with most contractors - they usually just let you wait or waste your time. Clayton's professionalism was very appreciated. When they came to to do the job, he gave me a run down of what was needed and then a cost range from min to max depending on what service was required. On the high end, he would be able to to trench under the patio without disturbing the concrete because he has the proper equipment. With the right tools, he was easily able to locate the problem and gave me an estimate. I authorized the work and was happy to hear that even though they did find a 2nd clog and needed to utilize their camera (normally $100 extra) - Clayton stuck with his proposal. One week later, my backyard is dry and all seems good. These guys have the knowledge and have invested in the right tools to get the job dome professionally. $755 to Advanced Hydro-Jet & Rooter Service Inc is a whole lot better than spending $3200 with another plumber who did not have the right equipment and could only offer "all new" instead of repairing the actual problem.
Description of Work: Cleared a few major clogs in underground corrugated drainage pipe that carries water from sump pump and down spouts 100+ feet away from house.

The work was done perfectly. We do not have any issues with the work done and the sewer. The company is new and small and had some scheduling problems but they are worth the wait. We would hire them again.
Description of Work: Lining our sewer from the house through the back yard.
We were having problems with a sewer pipe (going to the septic) that is underneath a thick concrete patio. Advanced put a camera through the line, and showed me the pipe had almost completely disintegrated. He gave me a written estimate to reline the pipe. The other alternative would be to bust up the patio, replace the line, then replace the patio--a very expensive alternative. We set up a day for the actual relining process. He then hydrojetted the line, and put a pipe liner in the old sewer line. He explained every step, and kept me informed about the progress. Afterwards, he put the camera through the line again. The line is no longer a clogging problem. Afterwards, Advanced sent me a dvd with before and after recordings of the "sewer cam". Very nice people--very professional, and were happy to answer my (many) questions. The process itself takes most of a day to complete. They cleaned up and left no trace of their being here. If you need to have a sewer pipe relined, I would recommend Advanced.

They came out within an hour of us calling. They used a camera to look in our line and found we had roots. They offered to rod the line, but explained that it probably wouldn't solve the problem for very long and we would end up having it done again. They said they could hydrojet the line which would do a better job of clearing it and last longer or we could fix the problem by having them put a liner in the pipe to seal out the roots. The idea of having to deal with this problem every 6 months didn't appeal to me so we had them hydrojet and put in the liner. They finished the work in one day and showed us on the camera the new line - one smooth seamless piece. The best part about it is they didn't have to dig up our yard to fix the line. We're very happy with the professionalism we received from their servicemen. They were courteous and respectful of our home and property. We would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: We had a problem with our sewer line backing up from roots in the line. They hydro-jetted the line and installed a CIPP liner.
