THE SHUTTER HUT

This was the 2nd time I used Shutter Hut. I was so pleased after they installed master bedroom door shutters and family room door shutters. It gave those two rooms a welcoming look! Warm and inviting. The shutters are a warm wood brown. They can open all the way if you need them that way. For this installation I had Shaun measure for our guest bedroom windows. Totally changed the appearance of this space, making it seem larger. The installation was finished within 90 minutes. This included taking down old window treatments, installing the shutters, cleanup and hauling away. I have another project for Shutter Hut in the near future!

Shutter Hut did an excellent job! Prompt, friendly service. Shaun came out to measure, give me a quote and then returned for a couple of hours to install. Windows look great!

Shutter Hut was professional from beginning to end. We had multiple companies come out for quotes and Shutter Hut was hands down the most knowledgable and competitively priced for REAL wood shutters. Plus, they are a family owned business and the product is made in America (which was important to me). Installers were great and quick. They even expedited our installation once they knew we had a newborn coming home from the hospital. Would highly recommend shutter hut to anyone.

Wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about this company. They previously installed two sets of shutters in our first home in the city and they turned out wonderfully. We recently move north and just installed more than 15 sets of shutters in our new home and they look wonderful. The measuring process is so simple, and they have lots of recommendations for the size of the shutter depending on how large the window is. We have very large windows and the shutters look beautiful! We have them on smaller windows too. Overall they are just a seamless look! And the paint color is matched to the trim which is perfect because we have a custom trim color. The install is fabulous. I did NOT have to ask for anything to be adjusted or aligned better -- they are installed perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about this company!

The first appointment was for them to come to the house and measure the windows, they also brought samples. That appointment was complete within a few days. I was provided with a quote before they left my home. The gentleman who came was punctual, efficient and polite and took the time to answer my many questions. I called back within a week to place my order. The call again was easy, they clearly are a very organized business. I was quoted six weeks for delivery and put a deposit down. Six weeks later they called to say they were delivered and were at my home and installed within three days of that call. The installers again, were punctual, polite and very efficient. They left no mess what so ever from there packaging. The shutters look awesome in my home and look forward to installing more.

Very thorough, professional and look great. Shaun is very pleasant as well as office staff. Very happy and will be ordering coordinating shades for windows in adjacent living room to complete the look. We did have an unusual request to extend the headers to accommodate our request for the most exposure when stacking panels. Really impressed with how they look and accomplished our desire to a T.

Great experience dealing with this company. Some other people that we know have used this company previously so we decided to give them a call. They installed several shutters in our living room, dining room, and breakfast nook area. I got several quotes from companies, and I definitely felt the most comfortable with this company as these products are their bread and butter. They are able to manufacture the shutters in a way that allowed us to keep our molding that is around our windows without having to add more molding around our windows. Other companies told me that we needed to add molding around our windows to hide the hardware and the side of the shutters, but the shutters look great. I wish I could provide pictures with this review as the quality of their work is top notch. I would definitely recommend their products and services.

Truly a wonderful experience. The representative who came to measure and provide an estimate was prompt and very knowledgable. He had great ideas and options I hadn't consider. I hadn't planned to have shutters installed on the double doors because I was concerned about giving up visibility to our wooded backyard. I'm so glad we did! The installation was also a joy. The technician was prompt, did an immaculate job, and left not a trace of a mess. I LOVE our shutters. We have great visibility when the shutters are open and they also open away from doors/windows for a completely unobstructed view. They provide privacy and noticeable insulation. And they look fabulous! I highly recommend. The representative provided estimates for windows in several other rooms and will keep the measurements on file. When budget allows, I plan to do the windows in other rooms.

The quality of the shutters is excellent. Someone was at our house within 2 days of calling for information on the product and samples, as well as, photos of previous installations were brought to our house. A less expensive option was also recommended for a loft area of the house. We received the shutters in the time frame promised and the installation was very well done. Our woven shades did not fit perfectly and instead of trying to make them work, they were re-manufactured and then installed. A great experience.

The initial phone called was answered by a gentleman who was very helpful and set up an appointment for a measurement. The appointment was kept by Sean who was very business-like and efficient. They had a discount deal in progress so I was given that price. We choose color, style, etc. A down-payment of half the total was given with balance due at delivery which was to be in 6 to 8 weeks. The time period was very accurate. I received a call from them when the shutters were available. They were installed the next day in a neat, business-like and efficient manner. They look great and we absolutely love them. We are now purchasing shutters for the living and dining room.

They were very nice and professional. They were on time for the work, with a very satisfactory time line. The workers were so focused that you couldn't hardly tell they were here(very quiet).
