Stoyan and his crew were top-notch. He fit my project into his busy schedule because I had a very tight time frame for getting my house ready to sell, and only discovered the cracks once we removed drywall that had gotten damp. He arrived promptly for both proposal appointments (second one necessary after more drywall was removed), and his crew also arrived promptly to perform the work. They explained and demonstrated their process, and the work was done carefully and neatly even though it was getting covered up afterwards. They were very courteous, and coordinated with my drywaller who was following up behind them as fast as he could. All work done is guaranteed for 10 years.

I feel very fortunate to have found ULB through Angie's List. ULB lived up to their 5 star rating, and offered their services at substantially less than the other large basement waterproofing companies. We needed their services promptly (we were one of many with water due to the July overnight 7" of rain) and the other companies were booked several weeks out. We had previously tried window well covers and foundation crack repair in our 90 yo house, but it became clear there was no avoiding drain tile and sump pump installation given the frequency of flooding rains and unprecedented high water table in our area. It had always been a dry basement, but our climate has shifted and we had to face the reality. ULB provides transferable warranties for their work, and since they've been in business for several years, I felt this was a valuable asset to offer future owners of our home. Another reason I was so pleased with ULB was their ability to provide demolition, haul away and moving of large appliances to complete the job. Another large waterproofing company told me I'd have to arrange that myself. It seems that when you're dealing with a project at this great an expense, companies should offer that option like ULB did. We paid a bit extra for it, but I'm certain it would have cost a lot more in time, aggravation and $ to find someone to do that for us. Stoyan was super professional - communicated things very clearly, was punctual and very responsive. He immediately honored a $500 reduction on the cost with Angie's List discount. And this was AFTER he detailed the bid and I mentioned the potential discount! His entire team was great - cleaned up every day after work.

Stoyan was extremely professional and honest. He called before arriving, arrived on time and looked around. He had me describe what I had observed, inspected my ejection well and my walls and foundation. He did state that he could not see everything because the basement was finished but from what he could see, it was not an interior unit problem, but rather an exterior (HOA) issue. I asked him if he could chat with a friend on the phone who was trying to help me. Stoyan patiently discussed the entire situation with my friend and discussed options etc. There was absolutely NO ATTEMPT to oversell me or sell me something that I did not need. I asked him if he would mind looking at my neighbor's basement while he was there. He said he would. We went over and Stoyan examined my neighbors's basement. He basically said the same thing, that as far as this general seepage goes, it was an outside drainage issue. He patiently explained to both of us, how this should all work for our four unit building. I cannot say enough positive things. I highly recommend this company.

After a thorough inspection, the technician showed us that it was actually the humidifier that was leaking rather than a structural or drain problem. Based on his honesty and approach, we asked him about fixing an outdated sump pump system -- and were given a competitive price. The system is in place and working great.

The team did a very good job. I don't have any complaints! The gentleman came over, took a few looks and explained in detail what needed done. Then we signed the contract and once it warmed up a little, they came over and installed the window well. The new well looks great! Would hire again.

I was exceptionally pleased with the professionalism of the gentleman from ULB Dry, the options and advice that he provided in advance, and the price that we settled on. The work was done exactly as specified in the time frame that was promised. The workmen left the area clean and gave clear instructions as to the amount of time needed for the cement to cure. I would definitely hire ULB Dry again in the future, if needed.

Work was finished in one day and workers cleaned up. Work was done the day after I accepted the estimate (January 27) which included a large discount for doing the repair in January. There was a heavy rain this morning and so far there has been no water seeping through as normally happens. They also accepted the Angie's List coupon on top of the discount.

Very professional worked on a Sunday to accommodate my work schedule explained everything in detail to me brought my window well up to code replaced my landscape.

They came out and did an inspection but were professional enough to tell me that they were necessary repairs do not fall under their expertise.

Crew scheduled to fill in three major cracks in my foundation. They filled in the first two and then determined that the third crack was much more extensive than it appeared. They suggested that the crack be filled from the outside to ensure a more permanent solution. They explained process well and gave us a couple of options. Did not feel like they were trying to sell me more work. They are coming back to repair the problem crack from the outside and seal the whole wall. The work quoted seemed to be reasonably priced.

Stoyian was amazing! He came out and gave me the most reasonable estimate I had after 3 other waterproofing companies came out. His crew was on time and ready to go. He had two crews: one to fix the seepage in the crawl space and one to install the new sump-pump and back up pump. Stoyian (the owner) gave us an upgraded back up pump because it was on sale and didn't up-charge us. The crew that came out to install the sump-pump accidentally severed my cable line. Stoyian came out to fix that as well! The pump was working perfectly until 2 weeks ago. When I called Stoyian, he came out himself, that day, to inspect what was wrong. He decided to replace the entire pump after he diagnosed that a stone accidentally got into the drainage. On a SUNDAY, he came out, installed the new pump and raised it so that this problem wouldn't happen again. There was no charge. As soon as I called to schedule him , whether for an estimate, work done, or repair, I received a call back within an hour. He was nice, polite, and prompt. His crew cleaned up after they left and were not intrusive. I would highly recommend him, his knowledge of plumbing, and his workmanship!

ULB diagnosed the problem and showed how the water was coming into the basement. It turns out the problem was with the door and siding not with a cracked foundation. ULB was very professional and efficient. They did not charge me for there time. I would highly recommend them and will use them for any problems I may encounter in the future with keeping my basement dry.

The job took less than a week. The pricing is based upon the perimeter of the area where drain tile is installed and the pump/battery backup I chose. I most appreciated the way that Stoyan worked with me. He made two separate visits to my home and spent more than an hour each time talking me through the science and the job itself in great detail, answering my many questions. He also answered questions via email promptly in an understandable way. When he came out for his final visit after the job was finished, he demonstrated how it works, again staying for as long as it took to answer my questions. He also took extra time before leaving to fix the leaky connections beneath our utility sink - something that he had not caused but that I asked for his help with. We had our first heavy storm last week, the neighbor's yard filled up like a pond as usual, and the pump worked just as he had demonstrated, so I was pleased and feel confident that this will be a good investment.
