Description of Work: We had them do the upper level windows two years ago. Now that it was time to do the lower level, we trusted them again. Jim, the president of the company, came by to give us the estimate. He was as cordial and fair as he was two years ago. His guys showed up as scheduled and were done with 4 windows in a 1/2 day. I did have a problem (from the manufacturer) with one of them that I noticed the next day. Barry, Jim's son, was on the phone with me within 10 min of me contacting him and came by the next day. He contacted the manufacturer right away who called me back the next morning; they'll be here in a week to repair, no questions. Good feeling dealing with Thermalcraft and pleased with their work.

Description of Work: This was such a good experience right from the start. I had other window people come out and give quotes. Some of them clearly did not listen to me and certainly did not respect that I was on my lunch hour. Thermalcraft was punctual, measured right there, and gave me a quote on the spot. I wanted custom windows (we have an old Victorian) with aluminum on the outside and wood on the inside. We did have to wait 5 weeks for the windows to be made (they were up front about that) but they were on time. On installation day, they did it fast and cleaned up after themselves well. The experience could have only been better if it had been free too!

Description of Work: I had All the windows replaced in my 2 story home. They went above and beyond to ensure a perfect finish and cleaned up any mess that was left. I tell every one I know how great they were and that they should use them when considering windows and doors.

Description of Work: We replaced the six remaining original windows in our house including upgrading our kitchen window to a garden window. We had shopped around a bit and weren't too impressed with quotes or reviews of others. We had received a number of recommendations for Thermalcraft as well as reading positive reviews on Angie's List. The owner of the company came out to give us an estimate and take measurements. We decided on the Alside Sheffield vinyl windows which seemed a good value. Installation was done about 6 weeks later by a team of two installers who were very professional and completed all the work in one day and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The windows fit perfectly with no issues and look great on the house and we love our new garden window. While we probably won'd need to replace any more windows, if we did we'd definitely use Thermalcraft again.

Description of Work: I was very clear about the product I needed before scheduling an appointment. The interior color of the window frame we are shopping for is non-negotiable. Time was wasted on both sides as the company does not carry a product that we can use.

Description of Work: Replaced all the windows and doors in our house in Nov. 2010. The bay window in the family room developed a vapor leak this fall, which was a mfg.defect,and thermalcraft relpaced it at no charge.

Description of Work: They completely replaced our old rotting wooden back door with a custom 3 light steel door w/ frame and deadbolt . They also repared part of the framing around the door. They trimmed the outside and caulked & sealed everything. They did a fantastic job. They were very professional, cleaned up when they were finished, and were friendly and curtious.

Description of Work: installed a custom storm door. It went very well. Really great quality door. Very professional and cut energy costs. This was a special order due to the unique size of the door.

Description of Work: Thermalcraft replaced my front and back doors, including storm doors. They came promptly and on time for the estimate, gave me excellent advice on type of doors and colors. Installers came on time, finished promptly and the results are outstanding. My doors look great and work great.

Description of Work: They installed two fiberglass entry doors and one storm door. The owner gave us the quote and explained the product to our satisfaction. Pricing was fair. The work took place as scheduled; in fact they arrived early. The workmanship was excellent. After the doors were installed for about a month, one needed a minor adjustment, which was made promptly, at no charge. Excellent service.

Description of Work: Replaced all windows in our home. Excellent job. Completed in timely manner, quality products, excellent customer service-call and talk to Barry, our sales person. Not pushy. Very reasonable prices compared to others we had received estimates from. We also had them replace the original patio door and two inside walk in garage doors. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Provider came out to our house to quote replacement of basement windows. Provider inspected windows and told us replacement of windows would not solve our problem. We appreciated honesty in situation where our house needed a lot of expensive repairs within a short period of time.
