It went great. We had received many quotes- most high- pressure, some from big name window companies. Jim came out and there was no pressure and an immediate sense of honesty from him. The workers were punctual, polite, and cleaned up. During the removal of the old windows, they realized they'd have to take out the interior wood frames and sills because of how the old windows were installed. Replacing the wood wasn't part of our original plan, but Thermalcraft gave us a very reasonable and fair price to replace all windows with oak wood frames and sills. They finished in a timely manner and left us with touch up materials for the front door. We haven't had any issues with leaking or condensation. Date below is approximate, they did the windows in August 2015. I can't recall day.

Very professional, punctual and neat. During installation, the guys ran into an issue with the old interior window frames which we weren’t planning on replacing originally and Thermalcraft worked out a fair compromise.

We had an excellent experience. I liked their professionalism, price and responsiveness.

The price was reasonable. They are great, professional, reasonable, and they do quality work.

Great buying experience! Owner came out for the estimate, work was completed as scheduled. Workmanship and quality of windows was excellent. Workers showed up on time, finished on time, communications were good. It was just an around pleasant experience.

Overall things went very well. From the first visit discussing just the patio door to the add on of the siding and awning window, Jim and his son Barry were very easy to work with and understanding of our needs. Mario and Frank arrived the day of install on time and were very professional. Everything was cleaned up after they were finished. Everything looks great and we are very happy.

We have made 3 different calls to get him to come out and fix this broken door. So finally he drove out an hour out to our residence and did not come with all the parts needed to fix what was broken. He got angry with us for coming out today. He told us he was charging us for him coming out and not being able to do any work because he didnt have the parts. I even offered to pay for his gas for him coming an hour away. He should have came with the parts to fix the issue. Buyer beware!! I would never use this provider ever again!

From the first angieslist message, the folks at Thermalcraft were extremely responsive and attentive to our needs. We were able to set up a house visit for an estimate within the week. Barry, our primary contact, came by the house and walked us through the process - it was a very low pressure situation (much better than others that came through!) and Barry was patient with all of our questions. This was the approach from the estimate -> order -> install -> follow-up. The windows are of good quality and the installation team worked diligently and effectively to get the job done. We booked cleaners to come in right after them to clean up any remaining dust (the nursery, where all of the windows were changed was our primary concern) but the Thermalcraft team left very little work for them to do! I was impressed throughout. Would recommend to neighbors and encourage anyone else to use their service.

They cleaned up and took all the garbage with them. The door looks and operates beautifully! Good Job Thermalcraft!! I would use them again in a minute. All the reviews were right.

Originally, this did not go well. I met with one of the owners, Jim I believe, and expressed very specific concerns and I was told none of them would be an issue. On installation day, the windows that the installers started putting in were not what I had contracted for. Upset, I asked the installers (who were wonderful and incredibly understanding) to call their boss so we could discuss what was going on. Eventually one of the installers stepped in and explained my concerns more technically and smoothed things over. Thermalcraft ended up bringing in the correct sized windows/what I had contracted for and installed in a timely manner. Not an ideal experience but in the end they wound up doing the right thing.

We loved working with Thermalcraft. The side door they installed in 2015 exceeded our expectations (door from the laundry room to the outside). Mr. Nelligan, the owner, suggested some options we didn't even know about and we ended up going with one of his suggestions. We were and continue to be thrilled with the door. We also had an attic window that had rotted and we needed to have it replaced (this was the most recent transaction, in 2016). He suggested that, since we did not use the attic, the window would not really be necessary, and we could install a vent instead. We thought his suggestion made a lot of sense (never occurred to us that we didn't need a window), and the installation is great. Once the vent was installed, the workers went over it one more time with a coat of paint just to make sure it was done right. This was over and above expectations, and we appreciated it. We are very, very pleased with the two jobs, and so is my daughter and her husband with the beautiful windows Thermalcraft installed in their bedrooms.

We had two egress vinyl sliders installed to replace our original metal frame single pane windows. The original appointment for estimate went well. They were on time, professional, and having already had 3 other estimates their price was fair and very competitive. He understood that we did not want to spend a lot but still wanted a good product and reliable install. We decided to go with them based on both price and reviews. It took about 4 weeks for the windows to come in which is reasonable. However we received no call when they did come in. We had to call them. Now the only reason I will not give this company an A is because on the day of install the men were AN HOUR late. We had changed our schedule to arrange for this and we waited and waited. No call or apology for being late. The install took a reasonable amount of time and the installers did what appears to be a pretty good job. The windows look great and are a huge improvement from what we had. We will see how they hold up to the weather. My only problem other than tardiness with the install process was that the employees kept going in and out, walking through mud and wet grass, and then tracking all of that mud onto my white carpet in my finished basement. Have some respect for your clients property please. We have hired others who took the time to clean their boots or put on shoe covers, it is possible. A minor bump in the service tho. Overall, I am fairly pleased with quality, price, and service. The price was extremely competitive and I believe we got a good product for our money. I would hire them again, with the request that they have some regard for our property and time.

This was a great experience. Our salesperson provided us with numerous cost-effective options and was very respectful of our budget. He was a pleasure to work with. Our doors came in a little ahead of schedule and the installers were prompt and courteous. We are very pleased with the quality of work done. We have had both doors for about 6 months and are very happy with them. We would gladly work with this company again and we highly recommend them.

I am so pleased with the work Thermalcraft did on our investment property's doors and windows. Everything was great from the beginning quote through to the install. I appreciate the fact that I didn't have to sit through a sales pitch to get a quote with them, unlike many other companies who want 1.5-2 hours of your time. The prices were some of the best I received. Barry was great if showing me the options, working with my budget and answering all my questions throughout the process. The install went so smoothly and the guys were great. I will definitely use Thermalcraft going forward and would strongly recommend them.

Generally, the project went well. The crew was on time, worked diligently, and did en excellent job installing the windows and door. They did a very good job protecting the floors with dropcloths and cardboard and cleaned up afterwards. The only concern that I had was that we found dozens of glass shards in the front lawn after the installation. Apparently some glass was broken at some point, but the crew had missed quite a bit of the broken glass.
