Barry, who I met for our quote, seemed very sincere. He was the only person that quoted us that actually looked at the old windows from indoors and outdoors. He was not pushy and didn't try to make us sign an agreement there on the spot (as other companies attempted). Dan and Dave, who did the work, we're very nice, kept the place clean and very worked hard. The windows look great, and we had a good experience. We'll have to see how they hold up when the cold weather hits!

They were excellent (I thought), except I thought they were taking shortcuts. After I called the boss they did everything the right way, but I really like them. They cleaned up really well.

It was excellent. They came in and did it all in one day. They did a good job.

I called and got an appointment immediately for someone to come out and give me an estimate. Barry arrived promptly and was very nice. Unfortunately my windows are 90'' tall and they do not have double hung windows that large. I was very pleased with their attitude and service, and would have used them if they had carried what I needed.

Thermalcraft did everything they said they would do. The crew even showed up 10 minutes early. The new doors are not only very tight, but the quality installation makes a dramatic difference to the look of the entryways. It was a labor intensive job and they took their time to do it right.

They had all the window work done in two days. The first day they worked 12 hours! They were there the days they promised, were professional, cleaned up everything, and overall did a fine job.

They were prompt on the day promised. I had to call them back twice. Once for not applying flashing in an area and another because when it first rained there were several areas where water was flowing down from behind the gutter. Both calls were dealt with the following day and I was told to call again if needed since they are guaranteed for lifetime.

Workers were efficient,friendly. We wanted wood windows so we ordered this brand. The windows they use add another frame to the existing frame so you lose a little light but it isn't too bad. The salesman was very friendly & called me after we ordered windows to tell me they would differ slightly from what we ordered. When he called, I didn't have the time to think about it & I tried to change the order a week later but they wouldn't change it even though they weren't slated to be installed for several weeks. I feel that a little more knowledge by the salesperson during his two visits to our home may have helped in the end. Windows were actually very thin veneer when they arrived which I hadn't remembered from the sample we saw (but maybe it was & I just wasn't informed of it). The windows function well except the child safety doesn't allow the window to open much at all(only 1 inch)which was different from the sample. Overall I am satisfied.

The door was installed in about four hours, which was about the time the contractor estimated. The carpenter did an excellent job and the door looks good, is secure, and has an automatic shut hinge. This hinge was reinforced so it will not pull out from the door. The installer was neat and cleaned up quite well. We definitely use this company again if the occasion presents itself.

Great experience, from scheduling the measurement and estimating to getting the actual work done. We wanted a simple black, 4-panel door but had trouble finding something so basic. (This was our third attempt.) Barry was great to work with, gave us our options, and quoted a very fair price. They also keyed the lock to fit our other locks. Thermalcraft made this a simple transaction. We'll use them for other doors and windows.

They seemed honest, down to earth and fair.

Thermalcraft was polite, very reasonably priced, and the work was done well. We would use them again.

I don't know where to begin in my praise for the expert, professional and efficient work performed on my house. This was no minor job, yet the two installers, Ron and Jack, made the entire job look easy. You can tell that they had worked as a team for over 20 years. Very few words were spoken. They knew what had to be done without talking. Yet, when I ask a question, they took the time to explain in detail why and how they did what they did. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. Their only comment was the distance they had to drive to get to our house. They asked ''why I chose Thermal Craft?'' My answer was, ''because Angie's list recommended you guys as the best in the area!''. And they are! I received 3 estimates and Thermal Craft was the lowest bidder. I saved over $3,000.00 and did not sacrifice quality. This is my first experience using Angie's list. It won't be my last. It's already paid the dividends promised. GREAT CONCEPT!

Work crew very skilled and professional. They took down several blinds and pleated shades for me and replaced them. This was outside of the terms of their contract. Also, cleaned everything up afterwards and took debris and old windows, storms, and screens with them.

Excellent from front to back. Barry(VP of sales)met with me, answered my questions, measured and gave me a good written quote on the spot. No hard sell. I accepted the proposal the next week. They gave me an approximate date, then called when the windows arrived and made an installation appointment. They showed up on time, it took 2 full days(which they told me up front). The installation went perfectly, everything fit well and they caulked everything beautifully and cleaned up everything. No debris was left. My tenants and I were very impressed and pleased with the entire project.

They are there when they say they will be. Their crew is in and out. They clean up and there is no mess. It was a snowy and wet day when they did the work for me, and they didn't track anything in the house. I also like that you get a live person when you call them. It was a very good experience and I am going to use them again.

The service was professional and fast. The price was competitive.

The work I wanted done would've costed WAY too much and Barry talked me OUT of getting it done. He said getting the windows repaired - work he doesn't do! - would be the way to go. The industry needs more companies like Thermalcraft!

We are very pleased with our new windows. Thermalcraft was the first company we called because of their excellent Angie's List rating. The price for the windows including the Angie's List discount was $1000 less than the other quotes we received. Our neighbor, who had similar windows replaced last year by a different company, commented that after seeing our windows, he wished he had used Thermalcraft.

A great all round experience. The installation men arrived promptly and were very courteous about my house and considerate that I had 3 cats and there whereabouts. They were very efficient and worked hard all day leaving everywhere very clean and tidy, including my driveway. In addition they spoke with my alarm company to ensure the wires were left available for easy re-connection after the window installation. My alarm company (Alert) have since been and told me this was the best and most easy re-connection job they had done due to the care taken with the wiring. Thermalcraft did a great job on the installation and we are absolutely delighted with our new windows. Especially the easy access for cleaning both sides (from inside)! We had one cracked window frame but it will be replaced in 2 weeks. Please note they need access from inside and out. The salesman had said mainly outside access but it is inside/outside equally. A great job and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

My positive experience began with the estimator, who had worked previously as an installer. There were some difficulties with our old door that made measurement and installation a bit tricky, but I was confident he knew what he was talking about. The installers were prompt and pleasant, even patching up a couple bits of concrete that were exposed by the new door. The new door was a custom size and fit perfectly and the price was competitive. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Barry was great to work with. The company did a nice job overall, they were on time and the windows are nice. The only minor thing is they could have done a better job cleaning up. Overall I would recommend them to anyone! A+ Thanks!

I thought the man that gave the initial estimate had a great demeanor. The workman that did the work was slightly unprofessional in his demeanor but did great work.

All employees were friendly, reliable, efficient, polite, helpful & tidy. We were anxious about such a big & expensive product, but were very comfortable working with Thermalcraft, & so far very happy with the product (installed this week). We have 3 more windows to do, & will use Thermalcraft again. One small thing that impressed me: we asked to have the counterbalance channels insulated when the new windows were fitted, which was not part of the offered service. Thermalcraft agreed at no extra charge, & did the work without any further reminder. They really pay attention to detail & the customer's wishes. The salesman was very easy to deal with & I did not fell pressured in any way - which was what made us feel comfortable in the 1st place. You can find cheaper, but perhaps not better value. One piece of advice: having windows replaced is more messy than I expected, & on the second day we took care to put drop cloths on furniture, as the workers only covered the floor.

Jim Nelligan, the president of Thermalcraft Inc, came to our house the day after I contacted his company by email and gave us an estimate. We accepted and were told the windows would be in about 6 weeks later. Seven weeks later we were contacted, and the crew of Jack and Ron scheduled the work to be started the following week. They arrived at 8:30 on Wednesday morning and replaced the 21 windows in about 12 hours over 2 days. Work was excellent and clean up was complete. Windows look great!
