The installers arrived on time and were able to complete the work in one day. The windows look beautiful from both the inside and outside. The new windows fit so well that I no longer feel cold air streaming in. I am completely satisfied with the windows and the installation. The only window I have left to do is the bay window in the living room, and now that I see what great work Thermalcraft does, I'm anxious to have the new bay window installed.

They were very timely with coming out. It took a little bit of time to actually get the project going. Since it was two separate groups that worked on both projects they had to coordinate everything. They did leave quite a bit of nail and metal debris around but sent somebody back to clean it up. I was happy with the quality of work. Overall it was a good experience.

The work went well. They were very professional and cleaned up well after the work. They were prompt and were able to install sooner than they originally thought. The windows look great and I'm pleased with their work.

I had gotten a total of three estimates. Thremal Craft's was the best. I have had termite problems at both entry doors, so I asked Barry how well his crew could handle the job if they found damage under the the old door frames. He assured me the guys were good at their jobs. He was right. They arrived at 8am and were finished about 4:45pm. They worked at a controlled pace. They did not rush to get finished. When they were finished every thing was cleaned up. When taking the old molding off the back door, a small chunk of plaster came off. They patched it up with spackle and it looks good as new. All I have to do is paint it over, no problem.

The whole experience was very positive. Jim came to my house and we discussed what we needed in terms of doors and storm doors. We placed an order. Jim called when the doors arrived, and they were all installed in one day.

Thermalcraft came out to give me an estimate. After asking a few more questions and getting more estimates, I went with Thermalcraft. The job was begun about two weeks later and completed in a couple of days. The crew was punctual and worked late into the afternoon. The clean up was thorough. The company was responsive to my questions and easy to work with.

Met with Jim, he was friendly and professional and the price was reasonable. It took a bit of time for the windows and doors come in and get scheduled (two months), but other than that, I am very satisfied with the work and results. The front door was fiberglass with a medium oak stain on the interior and stained oak trim. This has really dressed up the interior. The new Larson storm doors are great, with the drop down screens. The back door has the built in blinds, which are great. The workers were great, friendly, professional, and cleaned up afterwards. They made sure everything was working properly before they left. I also found out that they had been working with Jim for over 20 years. It's reassuring to know there are companies still out there that take care of their employees and workers are happy enough to stay that long. That in of itself says a lot. As I mentioned before, I wish the job could have been done in 4 - 6 weeks, but I also understand everything is custom ordered and the company is busy. The end result was well worth it.

Work was never done here as we couldn't even get an estimate from them. In hindsight, I'm extremely happy we didn't use Thermalcraft due to their extremely rude and unprofessional behavior during the estimating process. I couldn't imagine how bad it would have gotten if we actually hired them! I will never recommend this company to friends and family.

The salesman was very professional and courteous. The installers were polite and friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up thoroughly when they were finished. The windows fit well and are attractive.

They gave us a quote while we were talking which was nice. No other company we spoke to did that. This is a family company, and the two unlces came out to do our windows. They did it in a day. A year or two later we had some troubles with the windows, and they were very nice and came out to repair them.

I obtained estimates from three companies. The first company was late for the appointment without a call and they also had the highest estimate. The second company responded well, but something was always missing from the estimate and each return estimate higher. Theirs was the lowest overall estimate and might have gone much higher due to possible special ordering to finish an interrupted install procedure. The Thermal craft company owner came for the estimate on time, was very polite and professional, bringing many brochures and sample mock-ups of windows. He discussed what I was looking for and what I wanted to remedy. After making an inspection and measure of the windows and doors, he carefully answered all of my questions, provided me with direct call back numbers and did not leave until the presentation and project estimate were complete and clearly explained. After I had resolved not to follow-up with the other contractors, I submitted Thermal C Craft s estimate to the association for their monthly meeting and waited. Two weeks later, with their approval in hand I contacted Thermal Craft and requested a purchase contract. Again the owner showed up promptly, was very polite and after about ten minutes I had a purchase contract in hand and just needed to wait for the factory to build my items. After a few weeks, they made an installation appointment and then showed up promptly, clean, polite and dressed in suitable attire. They laid down carpet protection and then with blinds and drapes removed, the process began. The old windows had to be cut out of the drywall return opening and made a major mess with a snow-storm of fine plastic particulate going everywhere. The most fell upon their carpet protection, so it was much contained. In spots they made a few shallow gouges into the window drywall surround, but after trimming out the windows all but three did not show, so this was quite satisfactory. They were also careful to cover-up and protect the plantings and shrubbery outside. One was removing the windows, while the other finished setting up the protective panels and then started on the installing. Several hours later, the last of the old windows was removed and all the new ones were shimmed out and true, then secured in place with screws, trimmed out and caulked inside and out. All of the old window parts, pieces and all other matter were removed. The house had to be vacuumed and dusted, but the accumulation was minor and frankly expected as part of a major renovation. I noticed a few spots missed in the exterior caulking and they came back to address those. The Theravada company and their people were all very friendly, positive and thorough in their work. The quality of their product is second to none and the quality of their job performance is second to none. I am very happy with the entire process and just sad that I had time invested in obtaining estimates from those other companies.

Very easy dealing with the company, work was done on time, with no delays, and at project costs. Very happy with results. Would definitely recommend to others.

We were supposed to have to wait 6 weeks for our window. We got a call before that time and they said there had been a cancellation and could they come the next day. The timing was perfect.

Barry provided an estimate and was very timely with the return of the sales contract. The installers arrived on time as quoted and delivered excellent craftsmanship. The door needed to be replaced due to a leak. Once the existing door was torn out the 2x2 underneath was completely rotten. They replaced it with no additional charge and performed some additional caulking around the outside to ensure no leaking. They did great work, never complained about the stairs and cleaned up after themselves. Halfway through the install, Barry was in the area and stopped by to check on the install and make sure everything was OK.

They were amazing, from the time of the estimate to the finish it was very professional and very timely, they were reasonably priced. We shopped around and thought they were the best.

They did a great job. They arrived on time. They answered all my questions. They provided Energy Star-rated windows that easily pivot in for cleaning entirely from inside. They cleaned up after themselves. They met the budget we agreed on, in both time spent and money exchanged. My whole living space was warmer over the winter, and nothing has leaked in the 8 months since they did the installation.

Thermalcraft's quote was the highest I received, but I chose them based on the "A" rating they received from Angie's List. If the windows replaced were the standard windows, I would have rated them an "A", as well. The custom windows were difficult for them. For one, the measurements were misunderstood by the manufacturer, so the incorrect size was sent, causing a delay. Considering the experience of this company, I would have expected Thermalcraft to confirm the acknowledgment from the manufacturer in order to avoid such errors. Then, the second custom window was ordered incorrectly by Thermalcraft. Anyone can make an error but, again, based on the "A" rating, I expected more thoroughness that would have avoided such an error. Then, the rental lift Thermalcraft used to install one of the custom windows (which was the final installation) was left on the lawn in front of my townhouse. Thermalcraft left a message for the rental company to pick it up, as did I. The rental company took two additional days to pick up the lift--with no call from Thermalcraft to me about the poor service of their contractor. The windows are great, the installation appears to be solid. However, considering the entire experience, I see no reason to rate them higher than a "C".

The estimator came out and got me a quote the same day. The installers came and installed the windows in one day the windows look great and work was great. We are happy with results.

They were very helpful. They took care of the job in the time frame that was quoted. They cleaned up after themselves reasonably well. I would recommend them to others.

The job went very well and I'm extremely pleased with my experience with this company. Barry worked with me and my wife from start to finish. They were very straight with us, didn't try to convince us to buy stuff we didn't need/want. They were just interested in giving a good service and product, which they did. We are very pleased with the new windows and were impressed with the guys that came out to do the work. They were professional, friendly and kept cleaning up after themselves as they went. They were punctual and did the work in exactly the time frame they estimated. Since we installed all new windows and back door (so literally every window and door that leads directly to the outside) we've removed two of the four air conditioners we previously used and downgraded the big one from 15,000 BTUs to 10,000 BTUs. The place feels great and we know if it works this good for A/C it's gonna be even better when the winter rolls in - we are looking forward to using much less energy to be comfortable in our home year round. The only problem we experienced was that the design for the bottom half of our double hung living room windows was not what we ordered. We needed a single pane design on the bottom and a multi-pane design on top - ours came so both the top and bottom had the multi-pane design. However, it's not whether or not problems come up, it's how they are dealt with. In this case I pointed this out to the guys doing the install and they worked with Barry to get replacements ordered immediately. As soon as those were available, they had a representative come out and do the swap out, which took 15 minutes. I hate to even point out that there was minor problem given how happy we are with ThermalCraft. I only bother to mention it because I think it says a lot that they were so swift to address and correct the problem. And I personally think that it's good to know that you can work with a company over whatever unexpected things come up. Thanks again ThermalCraft!

It was a complicated job because they had to take out a part of a wall in my kitchen to make the door installation work. They did a great job; you can't tell that this was not the original design of my kitchen. We are planning on bringing them back to replace the remaining 15 windows in our house.

It went pretty poorly. The windows were a brand of window that many of these companies offer, I could have used any of the companies but they were the cheapest. As far as the installation I got what I paid for, but the windows are fine.

I must say that the job is not yet completed, but up to this point we are extremely satisfied. We had three other companies quote on replacing our two exterior doors and two screen doors. Barry was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. Their price was lower than all of the other quotes (he gave us a nice discount for mentioning Angie's List) and we also felt most comfortable with him. When he came back to bring the estimate he was running late and called ahead to tell us. We liked the fact that his father and brother are in the business as well and that many of the installers are childhood friends of the family. We are waiting for the doors to arrive at this point.
