We love that this is a family-owned company. We had a great consultation with Jim, the owner. He was professional & puntual, as well as his employees. Everyone was very efficient, clean and polite. We loved our experience so much we decided to call them back for a new front door!

From the first phone contact with Thermalcraft to the completed installation, the entire experience was very positive. Jim, the owner, came out to our house soon after my call, and was very professional, experienced and efficient. He explained the whole process, showed me a sample window, measured our windows, and printed a quote before he left. The quote wasn't the lowest or highest, but the positive comments on Angie's List and my meeting with Jim convinced me that they would do a great job. The windows were manufactured and installation scheduled within 4 weeks, as promised. The installation took 3 days, and Dave and Pete, the two installers, were experienced pros who worked together beautifully. They moved all furniture and any items necessary to do work inside (although the windows were installed from the outside). Pete even removed drapery hardware to properly caulk the windows, and put everything back up. They cleaned everything as they worked, including vacuuming wood pieces and debris after removal of the old windows. We absolutely love our new windows--they look great!

Barry from Thermalcraft came out and at our kitchen table printed out an estimate. We had several other companies come out: Brookside, Evergreen, Nombach and At Wholesale. Brookside was at our house for 3 hours and then no estimate. Evergreen was almost double the price and wouldn't give the Angieslist discount that they advertised. Nombach came out and no estimate. At Wholesale kept calling and saying they were coming out and not showing up.

Made an appointment, brought me samples the 1st time. They did their measurements and gave me an estimate (around $3,000.00).

The work turned out to be very good. They did everything they had promised. They promised extras and they did that without charge. They were good. They delivered what they promised. I would use then again in the future.

i purchased this house 9/10 and the basement windows and storm doors were orignal ot the 1955 home. Barry and his team came and quoted and also said they did the original install on the windows in the home. When he saw that two of the windows glass was shot, he offered to fix it for the cost of the glass (which was much less than the local glass store) The glass install was wonderful; cleanup could be a tab bit better on the glue, but considering the weather that was fine. the doors and basement windows was done on another day (1 day) by 2 man crew. they did a nice job on the basement especially considering this was the original metal frame windows. They also capped them on the inside and it looks very nice and they cleaned up very well after. The storm doors were a challenge; the house was built in 1955 and as you may imagine the frames (which have the original wood doors) weren't square. they installed the doors but there were gaps between the new storm frame and the overall frame. This job was done on a Friday. I called Barry on Saturday and he returned my call quickly (as he always did) and actually offered to come see the doors. By the time he arrived he had a solution and his team fixed both doors yesterday and it looks wonderful! I only wish i had shot of the before and after; you would not believe the difference

From day one this company has been extremely professional. We initally dealt with Barry and he was very kind,professional and knowledgeable. After providing us a prompt quote we decided to have our windows replaced. The windows took about a month or so to arrive as they needed to be ordered to match our exact window measurements given the holidays as well. After the arrival of the windows they quickly scheduled an installation date and had the total job done in about 3 days or so. I again am extremely impressed with this company given that the second installation day there was an anticipated 21 inches of snow to fall. It was evident that the snow was starting to accumulate, but they were persistent and worked very diligently and quickly while they were here, and although there was that one day delay, they came back as quickly as possible. I also appreciated the fact that they respected our home and used tarpes everywhere to protect our hardwood floors and carpeting. After each window installation it was as if they never moved the furniture at all! The installer was kind enough to answer any questions that I had and showed me how to properly operate the windows for cleaning. It was also very kind of him to consider the fact that our newborn son's room windows were done first, as this was one of the rooms that was used most. Overall, I would definitely recommend this company for this service and we will use them again in the future.

The work was completed in 3 days with little or no disruption to our household. I am not a particularly good "work zone" wife so this was an extremely nice surprise. There workers were very respectful of our property and most of the neighbors, other than remarking on our new front door, which everyone loves, didn't realize we had a complete window replacement. We recommned them highly - a quality product from a quality company.

They did a very good job. They have a nice working staff and they are very helpful.

We have an old house that does not have a square window in it. Everything went very well from start to finish. The installers had their work cut out for them and did a great job fitting and making sure each window was trimmed along with our sliding. They ended up taking 3 days and worked into the early evening with all the cutting and fitting they had to do. We just love the windows and even notice how the house is very quiet now. Would recommend this company and definitely use them again!

Fantastic. Everyone involved kept their appointment and was on-time and courteous. Barry Nelligan gave us both good advice and a good price for our replacement windows. We waited a couple of weeks while the windows were custom made to fit our older home. Then the installers came; they also were on time as scheduled. They expertly installed our windows and hauled away the old ones. They were real pros; great workmanship. A couple of the windows needed some really minor adjustments. Thermalcraft had the manufacturer, Alside, come out a few days later to adjust them. That guy also was prompt, courteous and expert. Now, the windows are perfect, perfect, perfect! I'd recommend Thermalcraft and Alside to anyone,

The estimation process was great; very relaxed, informative, and clear. They lay out your entire work order line by line with individual prices so that you can see how much each piece costs and make adjustments easily. By far, their bid was the best laid out document which I received on the spot at the time of our appointment. I could see what was being ordered, the styles, sizes, and customization line by line. Brad took the additional time to talk through some non-project related work that we were looking to have done in the future. Ultimately, we did decide upon an alternate vendor due to the overall price and window styles. However, we have every intention of calling up Thermal Craft to install two new doors and shutters next year. They clearly showed a commitment to quality.

Very well. We ordered the door from Thermalcraft and within a couple of days they came out for the measurement and ordered the door. It took about 5 weeks to deliver but when it arrived they were at the house immediately when they said they would. The job took well over an hour, but the finished product looks great. We were concerned about damage to the entry (front) door, which was brand new (and expensive), but Thermalcraft did a great job using care to make sure there was no damage, and there wasn't. They did a fine job cleaning up afterwards. We were very pleased using Thermalcraft for this project and would definitely consider them for other projects.

I got this company through Angie's List. I was happy with their reasonable price. The technician who installed the windows arrived on time. He was incredibly friendly and courteous. He cleaned up nicely afterwards. I referred this company to a friend of mine, and she was completely satisfied as well. I am planning to call them to replace my doors soon.

the estimate from thermalcraft was the highest of the three we solicited, but their consultation and visit was the most impressive so we went with them. the crew showed up early and got the job done by late afternoon. when the initial consultation was done we had a verbal agreement that we could match the outside color/finish of the windows with the old material (it was written differently on the estimate). the work crew were very accomodating with this even though the verbal agreement didn't seem to have been communicated to them--they ended up needing to send their supply truck back out for the right materials but it didn't impact the work or flow of work. they were good about sealing off their work (in accordance with lead abatement regulations) and left the house and yard clean and debris free.

The company representative came on time for an estimate and quoted a bid comparable to others. We decided on this company due to location close to our house and offered a wide range of colors of siding. The workers came on time on the dates we agreed on. They completed work in a very professional manner. They cleaned up the work area of all debris. They showed us the work and asked if we were satisfied before leaving. We were very pleased and satisfied.

I got estimates from four different window contractors listed on Angie's List. I wanted to educate myself on the different materials and services offered. Jim Nelligan came out not once, but twice to explain his product to me and my fiance when she was not available for the first appointment. He offered a good no nonsense, easy to understand and low key explanation of his products and services. He was also very competitive with his prices and willing to work with us and our budget since we've sone a lot of work on our house within the last year. He was prompt, courteous as was his installation crew who installed all of our windows in one day, on scheduled date and time and cleaned up great when finished. Very pleased with their work and attitude. When we need more windows done we will be giving them a call back. Very pleasant experience from start to finish.

The guys did a fantastic job, we are thrilled with the results! They were very meticulous as are we and we have no complaints. The house looks almost new again and we can open/close the windows with no problems. Everyone was very nice to work with and very professional. We would highly recommend going with this company.

Very well - very easy to work with -- Arrived on time for estimate, answered all questions. Windows came in earlier than anticipated and they worked with me to get a suitable install date. Installers arrived when they said they would and were very professional and tidy. I will be calling them to replace the patio door in the future.

The experience was excellent from start to finish. They first came out to take measurements and I was given a quote right there on the spot. It was a 6 week wait for the windows which they told me about prior to signing the contract. Everything was up-front and thorough. The install went great. Very courteous and eager to answer any questions/concerns. A family owned business and you could tell customer service was VERY important.

We ended up going with another Angies List vendor, as they were able to do a few more things that we needed done.

This was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. From the quote generation, to the scheduling, to the actual work, everything went as smooth as ice. Got quotes from four other competitors and only one came remotely close. I will definitely use Thermalcraft for windows and doors for as long as they are in business!

My experience with Thermalcraft was excellent. Their representative showed up on time and was very thorough. The price they quoted was very competitive. Ultimately I went with another provider based upon the model of window being offered (and a small cost savings) but would recommend Thermalcraft.

I called Thermalcraft about two weeks before our windows were manufactured. They were great! We love our new windows and the service they provided! Ron and his partner were courteous and professional. They helped me so much by detaching every blind and reinstalling the blinds when the new windows were installed. I highly recommend Thermalcraft!
