Window replacement went without any issues and windows look great and installers were clean and efficient and did an excellent job. Installer measured door before installation and felt that it was not going to be a good fit, so they re-ordered it and returned about 10 days later to install it. Door installation was also done nicely. We are very happy with the windows and doors and the installation and installers.

Job went very well. This was the second time I've used this company. Price, product, and installation we're excellent. Guys came when scheduled and cleaned up after themselves.

It went very well. It was a larger job with 20+ windows and three large exterior doors, working at elevations up to three stories. The installation workmanship is impecable. The windows and doors installed are quality products and competitively priced. I would definitely recommend these people again.

This is a "two enthusiastic thumbs-up" review of Thermalcraft - and of Patrick at Thermalcraft. / My condo building had Thermalcraft install the front door to our condo in 2009. The door has been solid and has kept our front vestibule warm for the last eight years. / What really blew me away is more recent.... When a couple of my neighbors moved, they scratched the paint of the front door. Our old '09 touch-up paint was all dried up. I contacted Thermalcraft to ask about the color of the door paint. Patrick went above and beyond to order new touch-up paint from the door company, at no charge to us. Then, because paint can't be mailed and because we don't live near Villa Park, we asked if we could use a messenger service to have the paint delivered to one of my neighbor's colleagues in the town next door. Patrick volunteered to drive the paint samples there instead, again at no charge to us. / I was blown away by Patrick's excellent service. I highly recommend Thermalcraft because of our quality door and because of him.

I had two old windows needing replacing. Thermalcraft did an excellent job coming out to estimate, schedule and install my vinyl windows. Even after I was given a date on when the windows were supposed to come in and be installed, I was surprised with a phone call with an opening to and have them install earlier, to my delight.

The company president, Jim, personally came out and gave us an estimate on replacing our windows. He was very knowledgeable, answered a lot of our questions, and gave us the lowest quote. Thermalcraft has a large number of 'A' ratings from Angie's list members for good reason. The company is very professional, has very skilled workers, is very competitive, and sells great windows. The entire job was done is one day. The technicians were very courteous and left our house spotless.

Job took two extra days than estimated but I am extremely pleased with the product and craftsmanship.

The Vice President came out to our home and provided a quote for a door replacement. At the time, we also inquired about installing a window to replace an old window A/C unit. We were told that the window replacement would cost about $500-$700. During this visit, the Vice President never specified that the window replacement was contingent upon also getting the door replaced. We decided not to replace the door and called back several months later to schedule the window replacement. I was told that there is a 3 window minimum and that they were not interested in the project as it would not be worth it for them. When I inquired about a local referral that would take the project, I was told that everyone has the same policy of a 3 window minimum. I would have liked to use this company but am disappointed about the lack of clear information during the initial consultation and lack of interest in helping out customers.

In 2017 I ordered a front door and a Strom door. I upgraded to a better door with a glass insert. The door was deliver and everything was installed. The door was beautiful however the glass insert was not what I ordered. They stated it was a manufacturer defect and I would have to deal with the glass company direct. The glass company, Albany Door, stated I would have to wait 10 weeks since the glass in manufactured in China. Okay so nobody waited to cash my check for services. 10 weeks later, glass comes and is flawed again, this time with a huge black streak. Delivery guy stated someone would call me that day, which was Wednesday, so no call come Friday, had to follow up again. Lady on the phone said someone would call me Monday since they were ALL busy doing payroll. Wow, your employees get paid while your customers suffer. Called Thermalcraft and explained this to them, was promised a call Monday. Well, it's Monday at 4pm and still no call. Called thermalcraft who stated they spoke with the guy while at lunch, give it until Tuesday. So AGAIN your customer in inconvenienced because no one can follow up or check their work. So sorry I went with this company and ready to talk to the BBB and see my options are. It's a shame everyone involved got paid but as the person who paid I still do not have what I ordered and may have to wait another 10 weeks. Very unprofessional and make you feel like a bother after money is exchanged! Not to mention my door looks like a butt and I included the correct picture!

Windows look great inside and out, work was done quickly and they worked with individual tenants schedules. Hauled away all debris. Would definitely use them again!

Professional installation and the door looks great

We recently had Thermalcraft replace 2 bay windows. These were the final ones that they replaced for us (little by little over several years - did all the windows and they also did our sliding patio doors and side garage door). They do a great job with the installation and I highly recommend them.

Barry communicated with me on a regular basis to discuss the status of the project. It was apparent during the final walk-through that quality work is important to him and his team.

Did not go well. I e-mailed the company three times (3/23, 4/11, and 4/28) at info@thermalcraft.com, which is the e-mail address listed on their website ([*** Link removed ***] I never received a response. I called on 4/28 only to receive the response "the e-mail address doesn't exist" to "we never got your e-mail", even though I had sent three e-mails to info@thermalcraft.com. Then, they said they did not perform commercial work. This should have come from an e-mail response or should have been mentioned when I called them.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Barry Nelligan came out to take a look at our project and to give us a quote. We were impressed with Barry and the crew that installed the doors. The crew did a great job, including clean-up.

This is the kind of company you want to do business with. Experienced, professional and their work was perfect. Don't hesitate to call Thermalcraft for you exterior home needs. The owner Jim came out and measured and handed us a quote in the same visit. Completely explained and detailed. This is the company you want to call if you need siding, soffit, fascia or gutter work done. The crew that did the work were great. Everything cleaned up each and every night at quitting time and did no damage on the yard or plants around the house. Re-hung all exterior lighting.

Timely completion, excellent quality of work! Knowledgeable and friendly employees. We've had windows installed by Thermalcraft in the past. Highly recommend their service!
