They were quite dependable. Everything was finished beautifully. If we have any questions, they were able to answer them. They showed us the products and how they are going to finish something because we had some unusual features on the deck of our house and we did not want to lose the wood finishes that helped finish that deck attachment to our house and yet we were going to have siding put on. We just want to know how they are going to that because they can?t remove the deck and they can?t remove the portal on. So they showed us how they were going to do it. The workmen were very friendly and they were never intrusive. They are a standing group and I will give them a pretty high mark. We have not done this before so I don?t know how to rate the cost. But there?s a lifetime guarantee and we had one of our shutters that did not work and did not fit because by the time that everything was put on the front of the house, it would not fit our big window in the front and they came back and they re-made that. With the way they finished everything, I was satisfied. They cleaned up everything and there was no one sign that they were here. They just did everything and the house looks beautiful. They did the house and the garage. I could not be happier with them. I will use them again.

This is a family-owned business, and it is run the way you would hope a business would run! Every appointment was kept, right on time, they stuck to their estimate, they were always available for questions day or night, and their installers were absolutely expert craftsmen. The products are absolutely gorgeous, and we've had many people stop to comment as they pass the house. I can't imagine how someone could do a better job!

Person at location answered phone politely and professionally. Barry showed up on time to give estimates and answered any and all questions over the duration of two projects. Everyone always returned calls promptly. Two different projects; one installed door and other installed soffit and fascia. Both crews were very prompt and were work horses. Excellent service overall from a very particular customer.

Installation went well. Installer was very professional. They had estimated that the job would take 4-5 hours, but it took only 2.5. I was very happy with the work.

This is a continuation of the window replacement project that we've had going with Thermalcraft for years. The installer showed up on time and did a thorough job caulking the openings, applying spray foam insulation, and ensuring that the new window was in the right place and installed correctly. Best of all, it looks great, doesn't have a crack in it like the last one and keeps cold air out in these fall nights.

We are satisfied with the quality of the windows and they were what we expected. Communication was good and everything was delivered on time and as we had been told. Staff was professional. Workmanship was very well done.

Very responsive from the first visit and quote through installation. No pressure, professional and good value for the product. The owner proposed the right products for the market/neighborhood. Installers were friendly and neat for the most part. Glass was broken on most windows during removal. Not sure if that is SOP but I found quite a bit of glass in my flower beds during fall clean up. One window was delivered the incorrect size. Took approx 3 weeks for the new window to arrive. I understand, mistakes happen and Thermalcraft handled it very well. All in all a great experience. Very competitively priced and great service. I obtained 2 other quotes. Both were very overpriced. Once was high pressure Very happy with my decision to work with Thermalcraft

From initial contact to scheduling to estimates to performing the installation, this was excellent. The windows are exactly what I ordered and were installed in hours from mainly outside, leaving no mess inside. Excellent job.

Barry of Thermalcraft was very accommodating and efficient. He came out one day on my lunch hour and measured the windows. He gave me a recommendation on how to save on the wood trim (to match our gorgeous Victorian woodwork). He gave me a quote on the spot in less than 45 minutes. In contrast, one of Thermalcraft's competitor's, WindowWorks, took more than an hour, made me late getting back to work with a lengthy sales pitch, and never did get me a quote. Since my windows are custom, the wait time was lengthy. However, I was also having tuck pointing with the window lintels replaced at the same time. So, the wait was no big deal since that work had to be completed first anyway. Barry kept me informed and gave me one week warning as to when they would be able to come install. This was perfect for me since the windows being replaced were all in our rental apartment below us. The installation went smoothly and they cleaned up well. The tenant was very happy. I've now had the windows in for 1 year and the tenant really has noticed a big difference in sound reduction and energy costs. I would highly recommend Thermalcraft for your window replacement needs.

I was impressed with the professionalism of the Thermalcraft staff all the way through. From quoting to installation everyone took the time to answer my questions and did a very thorough job.

The salesperson, ( I believe it might've been the owner Jim), did not use any of the high presussure sales practices that some other companies used, which I appreciated. I had gotten quotes from several other companies and was very sick of seeing the "heat lamp" demonstration or offering a "if you sign today, you get a XX discount". Basically, they offered a fair price for a good product. I ultimately went with Thermalcraft due to pricing and their reputation. My parents/friends have purchased windows and doors through them, and they stand by their work. Regarding the installation, everthing went very well. The windows were installed in a couple of hours. Crew was professional. Clean up was very good. I would recommend them and will use them in the future.

VERY professional salesman with the most profession sales I have ever seen. Salesman was in no rush to close the deal and after we agreed on a price and date etc. the salesman using his laptop and portable printer, he then printed up a VERY professional and easy to read and understand sales contract for signature. Company accepts major credit cards which is a plus when you do business with a company you never have dealt with before. If there is a problem and there won't be with ThermalCraft Inc. you have your credit card company to dispute any charges or problems. Quality of workmanship was AAA+ and the pricing was the best out of four other contractors I received estimates from.

I thought they were a good company but we liked the other company’s price better. I remember having a good interaction from them. They gave me the quote and their price seemed reasonable. I checked their website and I thought they were professional. I used another company because I just liked the features of the windows and they were better for me. They quoted us $9000 but some other company was a little bit less.

It went great, and the house smelled awesome after the cleaning.

We are very pleased with the new siding. It appears to be quality siding that was correctly installed by a crew that knew what they were doing. However, we had some issues with the whole process. First, they had to reschedule a couple of times because their installers were still on other jobs. Worst of all, their scheduler shouted at me each time to explain why it wasn't his fault that they had to reschedule, even though I was calm and collected because it wasn't that big of a deal to me. When they finally started the job, they forgot to tell us to take everything off the walls in the house because of all of the pounding that they would be doing. As a result, they knocked a wooden shelf off a bedroom wall which, fortunately, broke only a small inexpensive statue, and a car ramp off a garage wall that broke an inexpensive flower pot stand, but they also knocked an expensive granite shelf off our dining room wall that broke in three pieces. We asked them to pay for the granite shelf which they agreed to. Finally, the installers tramped down several plants that were around the house and did a poor job of cleaning up afterwards. One of the reasons that we selected Thermalcraft was that their website said that they had their own installation crew. It turned out that they were subcontractors.

Excellent service. Installers were on time, placed drop clothes throughout the family room and kitchen. Very professional and cleaned up everything, moved furniture back when they were finished. Top notch service. These new windows are awesome!! Just had Barry out this past weekend for a quote on large living room window - ordered new window and will be installed in November! Great company to work with. They will be replacing all our windows!

They did a wonderful job. Timely and efficient cost was moderate but worth the investment . They were able to match the siding perfectly for the windows ! I am very pleased . We will use them again in the future.

The team and Thermalcraft was terrific. Barry was very knowledgeable, sincere and straightforward. It was a challenging project due to safety concerns, he decided it was not a project he felt comfortable taking on. Regardless, Barry offered his expert opinion and advice, and was appreciative of the opportunity to assess the project. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism, and would highly recommend to anyone.

Contacted ThermalCraft in early July of 2014 to get estimate on a large job that we have been wanting to do for over a year now. Barry came out and gave us an estimate on the job to be done . He broke it down into 3 segments because I wasn't sure if I was going to get all the work done at the same time. We had a total of 4 estimates done for this job so I felt that I knew what I wanted and what the price should be. ThermalCraft's price was not the lowest but it was were I thought it should be. Barry was very professional in his estimate, went over the details of the work to be done and described his products in detail. He told us that the schedule was about 8 weeks out and they couldn't start work until Early September. I wasn't concerned about the time line, just quality work. We agreed to the job and the work started right as scheduled. The windows and door went in first. Dave and Pete were the installers and not only was I impressed with the work they did but also with the way the answered our questions and took care to clean up after the job was finished. The siding crew (Robert, Jerry, Dave) came in next and were just as good as the window crew. The job took longer then the windows but the results were just as good. Everything looks great our house has a wonderful make over and when everybody left there was no mess to clean up. Now let me say that spending a large amount of money an doing a big job like this creates a lot of anxiety and this is a job that will disrupt the house for the time it is being done, but these guys made it much easier then I thought it would be. I don't anticipate needing this company again , but if would recommend them to all my friends.

My house needed a new front entry door plus storm as well as a storm door for the basement entrance. Due to the age of the house, all the doors had to be custom made. I got four estimates. Thermalcraft wasn't the least or the most expensive, but Barry was clear about what the costs would include, and gave me all the choices to make for myself. He showed me pictures and explained exactly what the prices and the process would be. He did not try to hard/up-sell the way a couple of the other people did. He also explained that, because all the doors had to be custom, it would be several weeks before the work could be done and gave me a date to check back with him if I got curious before he called me. When the doors were shipped, we set up a time for installation. The guys who came out were great. They explained all the steps they would take. They took out the frame, mounted everything needed, repainted, and caulked, installed new door handles and locks. They went over how the new storm doors worked (raising and lowering screens, keeping the doors in an open position, etc. and gave me an instruction sheet for care and troubleshooting). They cleaned up after themselves and hauled away all the debris. My new front door looks great and both the storm doors work like champs. Definitely recommend.

There wasn't anything wrong. It was the coldest day of the year, and I was excited to be getting new windows. The result has so far been good. The price was reasonable.

Service and pricing was great. There were unforeseen problems due to my house being so old. They were quick to respond and offered multiple options to fix the problems. They truly stand behind their work. Would highly recommend.

we contacted Thermalcraft in March to replace our two sliding glass doors, one was leaking and water damaged, so we figured we'd replace both to have them matching. Their estimate came in much lower than the 3 other companies we had contacted for estimates. Coupled along with great Angie's list reviews, we decided to go with them. We ended up signing a contract on May 5th, I believe, and the guy told me it got really busy and that it would take about 6 to 8 weeks before they could have people out there to install the doors... yikes! the long wait actually worked out for us since we had other work being done to the house at the time, and I wanted for it to be finished before we installed new doors. Probably the only bad thing was that I had to call them back after the 8th week to get the install scheduled. They were able to get me scheduled right away though. The install went really quickly and the guys arrived earlier than they had thought. I believe it only took about 3 hours to install the doors, when estimates were about 6 hours, so that was nice. The guys also cleaned as they worked so there was never a huge mess. After they were done, the new doors looked great without any problems with the install. Probably the only problem with the install was that there was a strong silicone smell for a couple weeks in the basement afterwards. I had to keep airing it out. you can still kind of smell it after a month. overall, they did a great job for a great price. I'd highly recommend these guys to all.
