Description of Work: I called this company because I saw them in my building and they gave me a card. I spoke with an enthusiastic woman who took my name and telephone number. No one ever called me back.

 + -1 moreDave and his crew are very honest and they are always prompt. CJ has come to help us with our boiler more times than I ever expected. They are great guys. My neighbors said that they have saved them a lot of money on a prior job when another company said they needed a furnace replacement but Dave showed them it wasn't necessary. I would highly recommend them!
Description of Work: Planz was recommended to us by our neighbors after we were dealing with a boiler that was installed poorly and the other company stopped responding to us. Planz's boiler expert, CJ, has gone way above and beyond to help us. He continues to try to help us rectify our boiler situation. In addition, to our boiler, they have serviced our HVAC units for the annual cleanings. Their prices are very fair and they never try to "upsell" you.

 + -1 moreLast month we replaced our furnace, AC, and hot water heater all at the same time. We did our research, shopped around and obtained various estimates. Again we decided to go with Dave Planz and CJ. Dave worked very well with us in scheduling as we had to reschedule a couple of times. We never have a problem reaching Dave by telephone and when the day came for the installation, everything went very smoothly. Planz Heating sends qualified, pleasant and polite people who know what they are doing. This is important to us because we have a son with special needs and workmen in the house can be very disruptive and upsetting. Planz Heating worked all day, completed everything, and cleaned up everything before they left. We will definitely use them again and we highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: My husband and I have known and have used Planz Heating and AC for 14 years. Dave was first recommended to us when we bought our first home in Chicago 14 years ago and have called him twice a year ever since for maintenance of our furnace and AC. I will not call anyone else to work on our furnace and AC. Dave and his associates are trustworthy, honest and get the job done at a reasonable price. Over the years we have called Dave on his cell phone in times of emergency. I was very pregnant during one of Chicago's summer heat waves and our AC died. Years later, we returned from a vacation in January and our old furnace had died. In both instances, Dave took care of it immediately and the problem was fixed. That type of customer service is hard to find.

 + -1 moreOur air conditioner is over 20 years old so we value working with someone who is honest with us. This year Dave said that everything checked out fine with our air conditioner unit and no extra services were needed. We have been a customer of Dave's for over 5 years. He has always been extremely honest and he cares about his customers. He does not recommend services that are not needed for our air conditioner or furnace. He is always friendly and even takes his shoes off at the door when he comes into our home. He has been prompt for appointments. We highly recommend him.
