We used Leticia's before several years ago when we lived in an apartment. Arturo, the man who runs the place, re-upholstered a different chair for us at that time and we were very pleased with the results. So, when we decided that two other chairs that we'd acquired were in need of a makeover, we naturally contacted him again. One of these chairs was a big stuffed chair which had belonged to my parents who had purchased it back in the 60's. The last time, they had it redone (by someone else) and that person had used vinyl rather than leather so after many years, the vinyl split and cracked in several spots. As a result, the chair was exiled to our basement where it sat gathering dust. The other chair belonged to my late, mother-in-law. It was an old, stationary style, rocking chair with swan (head and neck) arms. However, it still had the original avocado green upholstery which had become dingy and unappealing. Therefore, my wife and I decided it was time to revive both chairs! I visited Arturo, who remembered me from years before and I selected a very beautiful textured fabric for the swan rocking chair and a nicely understated navy blue leather for the stuffed chair. I also explained that I wanted him to check the basic integrity of the structure of each chair and strengthen them if necessary. I also explained that I wanted the stuffed chair to be more soft and comfortable to sit in. He gave me an estimate which I agreed to and which remained the same throughout. He said it would take 2 weeks and he actually finished a few days ahead of schedule. He picked up and delivered the chairs to our house. We couldn't be happier with the job he did. His work was excellent and he was professional throughout. Don't be put off by the unassuming look of his business. Arturo is a real craftsman and has been doing this for more than 40 years. It was a total pleasure dealing with him and we recommend him without any reservation!
