I bought a new house out in the country. My mother used Johnson Water Conditioning's services for her own home and recommended them to me. I was skeptical on whether i would be able to use their services with me living so far from them. I called and they sent a technician straight out to my house. No Questions asked. They have since had to come back once for service on my model. Their service has been excellent. i will not use another water conditioning company as long as they are in business.

Install went smoothly. Ken was very personable. He completed the install and set up the controller based on the hardness of my water, 31. He gave me an explanation of the control panel and provided the owner's manual. He hauled away the non-functioning, 12 year old softener(GE) that had been serviced once already just 2 years after install(1yr warranty). Johnson has a LIFETIME on the complete system!!! Paid about the same as I would have for another installed 'hardware store' brand that still only would have a 1 year warranty. This Johnson system uses far less salt in the Standard setting and would still use less salt if I needed to use the Heavy Salt setting.

Very clean, very professional installation. The installer was very knowledgeable and informative and clearly answered all of our questions. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this service provider for all water conditioning needs.

We rent our water conditioning equipment from this company. They are very easy to deal with. Whenever we need any sort of repair or servicing, they send someone by the next business day. All of their technicians that I've dealt with have been very professional and knowledgeable and clear with their explanations whenever issues do arise with the equipment. Very professional and efficent all around.

Completely blew off morning appt. Callled and said would be there a few hours later. Never called or came Took the day off of work and do not appreciate the complete disregard for their customer.

Fine. Talked to office staff Thursday and asked for installation Monday after speaking with an informed salesman for half an hour. They called ahead on Monday as promised, showed up 15 minutes early and completed the job in 45 minutes (2 people). Price and warranty very competitive.

Called and spoke to Jason about getting an iron filter and a R.O filter installed because CWT Culligan service was not working out for me. Price worked out to almost half of what CWT Culligan was charging for the same system. Will update after the system is up and running.

After years of dealing with Culligan and getting excessively overcharged for making cameo appearances at our house only to have their equipment (that we purchased) break down over and over, so we decided to rent iron filter instead. We were going to just rent from Culligan but then I thought to check out the competitors on Angie's List. Well that was a smart move!! Johnson was the best deal around for monthly rental of an iron filter - $25. They gave a 10% off deal if we paid for the full year. Norm, the man that installed the system, was polite and professional. Unlike Culligan, he took the time to explain everything to me and left the room tidy after he was done installing the equipment. He took his time to make sure everything was set up right. So far so good. Our water went from orange to colorless, thanks to our new filter.

Norm was friendly, informative and timely. He kept me informed of any changes he had to make as the job progressed. A good cleanup. I've had other installations by Johnson and they also were satisfactory.

We have leased a water softener from Johnson Water Conditioning for over 8 years and find the price, equipment and service to be excellent. Recently we heard a noise that sounded like there was air in the line and called Johnson. A tech was sent to inspect the unit within a few days of our call. Ken arrived on time, inspected the unit and tested our water. Ken was professional and knowledgeable. The best part of leasing a water softener from Johnson is no maintenance, free check-ups, free repairs and free replacement. We highly recommend Johnson Water Conditioning and we will continue to do business with them for many years to come.

I needed a new water softener and wanted to lease rather than buy one. I compared Culligan and Johnson (my next door neighbors recommended Johnson). Culligan salesman was excellent, but they were significantly more expensive. Johnson sale was essentially done by phone, tech arrived on time, install went fine. Equipment is cheaper-looking that Culligan's but works fine. Lease is a minimum 2 years (salesman told me 2 over the phone but tech arrived with paperwork for 3-year lease. I had him change it to 2 years). Tech did an excellent job explaining to me how often and how much salt to load in softener.

Well after $10k and two days of installation, we had our new system in our basement; however it was never told to us that this "system" has to reset itself every night and the resetting process would sound like a jackhammer being run for about 2 hours. EVERY NIGHT. We contacted Mr. Chapman and explained that we were not happy with the outcome of the new system because firstly our water still reeked of sulphur and secondly we were not able to get any rest because of the jack hammer in our basement every night. Mr Chapman said he would check with the installer and get back to us to see what they could do. We asked that they just install their version of the chlorine system we had. Well, needless to say, we never heard back from Mr. Chapman. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau also. We eventually used a different company to install a chlorine system for an additional $3500 out of pocket. Mr. Chapman has never responded to in of our inquiries or letters requesting compensation for the faulty system that his company sold us and installed in our house. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE!

After Johnson left, the water just got worse. We had to have another company come back out and fix what they had broken and reset the sofners. The water since then has been much better.

We purchased the new water purification system from them. We are happy with the new system. They are very knowledgeable and were very prompt in coming to our home to answer our questions.

second visit, installed water softener in a confined area. Work was timely and effecient. Cost of softener and labor was quite competitive. Could have been a little more conscious of tracking in snow and dirt but overall a fine job.

If we hadn't already purchased system from them - would never deal with them.

The technician recommended a couple of options to my wife (I was not there) which sounded resonable. However, when he did not return my numerous messages re: brief questions about these options, we called to try and get someone else out to our home - keep in mind they charged $97.00 for the initial visit. After reluctantly agreeing not to charge us another service fee they were to send someone else out sometime Monday (they would call to say when). When they called, the technician could not make it. I realize that people get sick, have issues etc. and this might not have been such a big deal had the person who called not said "well sir, when I schedule a service call I have to wait around all day too." In response to my concern that I would have to block off another entire full day of meetings because they could not give me a time, or even a window of time when they could come back - just that they would call Thursday. Customer service is a very important aspect of this type of in home repair service and this company has NONE.

There's no way I will ever use anyone besides the people at Johnson's. They're very friendly. They're just excellent. We were having problems and I thought it was the water softener. He said it was the iron filter. He chose to backwash the system just in the event that that would fix our problem and save us money. And he even told us that if we were to have any problems within the next 30 days, he'd subtract the cost of the backwash from the cost of replacing the iron filter.

We were new to our house and had never had a water softener before. Came out and looked the system over, turned it on and set the timer. Told us how to adjust the timer and where salt level should be kept.

Excellent! They were able to come out the next day and called in the early morning that day to let me know when to expect the service person, so I wasn't kept waiting forever. Tim was prompt, efficient and able to maneuver the heavy tank solo, both down and up the 14 odd stairs into the basement. He was very personable and didn't mind me watching him work. He was there less than an hour and reminded me to clean aerators, etc. to get rid of any particulates in that got caught with the filters. System is doing fine and I'm happy that our pressure is back up to where it should be.

TWO NEGATIVES: 1) TRIED TO SELL ME $1200 NEW TANK WHEN MY REFURBISHED EXISTING TANK WOULD WORK FINE 2) WHEN THEY TOOK MY TANK, THEY DIDN'T RETURN IT UNTIL I CALLED THREE TIMES. I WAS W/O TANK FOR A MONTH. POSITIVES: ONCE I GOT THRU TO THE RIGHT TECHNICIAN MANAGER, THINGS WENT SMOOTHLY. HE CHARGED ME $50 FOR A VALVE, WHICH I WASN'T EXPECTING, BUT SUPPOSEDLY I GOT EXTRA VALUE FOR THIS. ORIGINAL QUOTE WAS $400, WHEREAS FINAL COST WAS $450. I PROBABLY WOULD RATHER TAKE CHANCES ON NEW COMPANY VERSUS THIS COMPANY, GIVEN MY EXPERIENCE.

THE FIX TURNED OUT TO BE VERY SIMPLE. IT ONLY TOOK A MINUTE OR SO. HOWEVER, WE WOULD HAVE RISKED INVALIDATING THE WARRANTY IF WE TRIED TO FIX IT OURSELVES.

I WAS ONLY CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE CALL.

THE TECHNICIAN DIDN'T BRING THE OWNER'S MANUAL FOR THE SYSTEM AND WAS IN SUCH A HURRY TO LEAVE THAT HE ONLY SHOWED HOW TO ADJUST THE CLOCK.
