It went great. He did an extremely detailed report onsite with repair costs. I submitted it as part of my attorney review and the seller agreed pay the full write up.

Generally, it went well. They are not the most responsive, but they are nice, professional, and do good work.

I called All Pro Chimney to do a basic cleaning but he found some minor repair work to do (which I doubt was necessary at this point) and he also told me I needed a chimney cap. He didn't have one in the size I needed but he called the shop in front of me on his cell, said that they had one in stock and that he could pick it up later that day and install it two days later (Thursday). Well, Thursday came and I got a call from Patrick stating that his car broke down and he fell behind schedule but that he'd have the cap up within a week. I said that was fine. A week later, still no chimney cap. I called and left a message. No response. Another week passed and I called again, leaving a calm but frustrated message that I simply wanted my money back for the cap at this point. He called back the same day with some other excuse about falling behind schedule but that he'd install the cap in the next two days. I can't say I was surprised when two days later there was still no cap. I called and demanded a refund for the cap. He called back on my home phone though I had JUST called him from my cell and left a message that he had fallen off his ladder and broken his foot AND his phone company shut of his line for not paying the bill. He also mentioned he would happily give me the money back but he had the cap (and even threw in that it was a custom order and took some time to get, which was not true) and could install it. I called back and his voice mail box was FULL, so I couldn't leave a message! I called 2-3 times a day for almost a week and the box was always full. Finally this morning I called and got through. I demanded that the refund be in my box or the cap on the chimney by the end of the day or I'd report him to the BBB, angiestlist, yelp, etc. Well, here I am and neither happened so...DON'T HIRE THIS GUY....EVER!!!! He is either the most incompetent business owner I've ever met or a nasty scam artist. I wished I'd looked him up on angieslist before hiring him...not sure how I let that one slide!

He said he put two new top dampers on, but I noticed that one popped off. So I called him to let him know. He said he would come back and fix it, but he never came. He has answered the phone and has told me he was coming, but he has never shown up. It has been months. I even told him I would call Angie's List if he didn't show up, which he didn't want me to do, but it has been too long.
