Quality of finished work was outstanding, contractor personnel were pleasant and respectful. Pricing was very competitive and reasonable. The owner was responsive to calls and concerns. Our project did experience several delays, some due to weather, some due to back-ordered products, some due to issues between the owner and one of his employees/subcontractors. As a result, the owner performed some extra work at no charge, and completed some touch up items, also at no charge. The owner seemed genuinely apologetic and regretted the delays, and did a very nice job overall.
Description of Work: Exterior house painting, including power washing and bleaching to remove mildew, repair of brick molding around windows, replacement of rotted fascia boards, removal and painting of shutters and downspouts, painting of the front door, exterior painting (spray) and touch up work. Total cost- $4,000 for a 3000 square foot Colonial home, which was in the middle of all the quotes we received. Carpentry, including repair of garage door frame and replacement of a small front porch. Total cost- $4500 which included all lumber and labor. We did not originally intend to do this project, but the contractor pointed out the poor condition of the porch (a lot of dry rot) and we agreed to do the work.
