ADVANCED APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICES INC

This was not the fist time I contacted Advanced Appliance. I have used their services at least 3 times and each time got excellent service. He does not do unnecessary repairs and is honest.

It was determined that the knob that needed to be replaced was no longer available but they were able to locate and install a suitable replacement. The work was done in a timely manner.

they came within 90 minutes and fixed it.

They came out quickly on a Friday afternoon and got washer running again. Warned of potential future issues.

After they installed it, they used my dumpster to dispose of the old one rather than take it with them for disposal. I also had to clean up all of the mess they left behind from the box and packing materials the cooktop came in. The vent blower needed to be rotated/adjusted to accommodate the duct work for connection to the outside exhaust. They never even looked at the installation instructions to know that part of the installation was to loosen four bolts to rotate the fan assembly into position of functionality. Instead they argued with me and told me I had to figure it out for myself. After I read how to adjust the blower, I called the contractor back and told them they needed to come back out and finish the installation. The guy rudely told me that it wasn't his job to adjust the blower and to call his manager and then immediately hung up on me! I called his manager to tell him that his company needed to come out and finish the installation and to complain about the rudeness of his employees. The manager gave me a bunch of excuses about the incompetence and inexperience his workers had with installing cooktop ranges and then asked me to email a copy of the instructions and he would look it over and call me back. He called back the next day and told me the warranty company denied the claim and said I would have to pay extra because he told them it was a modification and not part of the original installation. After HE argued with me, I told him I would call the warranty company directly myself. I called and they told me that the contractor listed it as a modification therefore it was outside of my contract rules and I would have to pay extra. I told the warranty company about the rudeness of AA Repair and that they should find a new contractor. I also tried to explain to them that it was in fact part of the installation and not a modification. After I finished registering my complaint through my warranty company, I ended up finishing the installation myself! In the end I still paid an extra $50 for supplies to complete a job that was started by incompetent workers. Do yourself a favor... FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!

Had called to check on dryer that wasn't heating, man claimed it was because of lint build up and he cleaned it out with my vacuum and said it worked when in fact it still did not work. I don't think the man had ever looked inside if a dryer before..and I paid $120 for a dryer clean out. Ripped me off in my opinion.

It weighs about 1,000 pounds and everything opens up in the front of the machine. They insisted on dragging it out from the wall, and then found that all of the parts were in the front, as we told them. They told us we needed a compressor for $1,000. After they left, saying they would call us back when they found the compressor, we went downstairs and saw that they had not bothered to move the Coke machine back. There was also a lot of memorabilia on top of the machine that was then strewn across the room. It was a disappointing experience that they didn't bother to put things back in their right place. They did not know how to use the credit card machine that they had, to which we had to show them how to use it so they could get our $50 for their service charge.

NOT WELL AT ALL... NO SERVICE, 10 DAYS LATER, BUT THEY TOOK MY MONEY FOR TELLING ME THAT THE TIMER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED -- WHICH I ALREADY KNEW!!!

They really didn?t do any repair work. He checked the temperature on the oven. He is a nice person. However, there wasn?t any work for them to do. I am hoping that I won?t have any problems with the oven.

They came the day after I called and were on time. The motor in our dryer had burnt out and they tried to order a replacement. Two days later, they called and said it wasn't available. That was the end of the experience.

Another company failed to respond and fix a water leak. Advanced came out and identified the problem immediately and came out on a Saturday to fix the problem.

He was professional, on-time, and skillful. He did not attempt to gouge, or so it seemed.
