+ -1 moreI chose Stivers HVAC based on their good reviews on Angie's List. Since we had some AC working from our upstairs unit, it was not an emergency and they scheduled us in a couple of days (I was satisfied with this.) The technician came out as scheduled and on time. He looked at the unit, put freon in it, and left; he did not attempt to diagnose the source of the leak. The unit was in non-working order again within a month, and at that point we called another company who did find the problem. I also had Stivers give us a quote for replacement of the unit. They said that if we chose to replace the unit, we would not have to pay the service charge. However, we decided to go with a different company who installs better quality units.

+ -1 moreThey are honest, prompt, clean, and personable. They explain things which I appreciate because I?m not so good at household things. When it comes to heating and air, there are a lot of schemers and scammers out there so when you find a good one, you stick with him.
Description of Work: Stivers comes out in August to look at our furnace and March to look at our air conditioner.
