Installed roof on new construction home. 1 yr later several problems and signs of leaking. The roof has many low nails, some very low nails and some of those are blown all the way through. There are shingles missing right at the valley and have been missing for a while, the felt is not black at all anymore. There are probably 40 holes through the shingles where the siding installers nailed their pump jacks through the roof. There is a snow valley on the west side of the home where the valley is backwards allowing water to run underneath the snow valley. There are several face nails throughout the roof that were never sealed. There are a few face nails that serve no purpose where someone may have shot a nail gun on accident and did not replace the shingle. Overall the roof has many areas that need addressed. Contractor not taking responsibility. Would NEVER recommend!!

This job has been a nightmare from the start. The company was responsive to give me the estimate and sign the contracts but after that it’s been slow. They would finish part of a job and come back 2-3 weeks later. Or would set up appointments and then not show or call leaving you waiting, the owner was very rude when complaints were made and in no sutle way stated I was lying about the job and the cause of them not finishing the work. I made on appointment that was supposed to finish the job and waited and waited by the door. Heard the workers there but not once did the knock on the door to do the inside work. When I called the owner stated that I refused to allow them access to finish the job.

I asked that they contact me with an estimate via phone or email and they mailed it. The letter was lost for weeks in the house, so, I was unable to use their service. I'm sorry for that because their price was very competitive and the fact that they responded puts them in the top tier of the gutter contractors in the area.

Communication was poor and the work average. They did go back and improve on part of the work, but it still wasn't the quality one would expect from people who do this for a living.

Asked for an estimate, they just showed up to do job without authorization. When I inquired about it they said they would rip off the boot and hung. No one would call me back until I threatened to call the law. P.S. They still made me pay full price!!!

.It's now July. I have not heard back from Dillman Brothers. I tried e-mailing Justin and calling them at their toll-free number and their local number and got a message both times that the number could not be dialed (or that the party could not be reached). WTH is going on with Dillman Brothers? I've heard ads on my local radio station of Dillman Brothers looking for people to work for them, but they can't return e-mails/answer phone calls from potential customers? I have another provider coming to my house to give me an estimate on Monday. I hope this one works out better than the one with Dillman Brothers.

After two workers visited my home on March 17, I was assured the estimate would arrive promptly. Six weeks passed before I was fed up enough to call. The company answered the phone quickly and professionally. I was told that they would get the estimate to me soon. Another week passed, and I called again on Tuesday of this week (May 5). Once again, the phone was answered quickly and the person I talked to was very kind and professional. She promised me she would talk to the person responsible for the estimate that evening, as she wasn't able to find him when I called. She promised me she would call me back on Wednesday, May 6. Wednesday, May 6 passed by with no call, not even an email to say that she hadn't been able to contact the person responsible for calculating the estimate. I am tired to calling, and I am tired of waiting. And thus I have decided to share my frustration and disappointment here, in the hopes that public criticism will improve the company's process of handling estimates. Please note: This review says nothing of the workmanship that the company provides. If you are able to get an estimate from the company, and if you are able to get them to come to your house to actually do the work, other reviewers seem to indicate that the work is of general high quality. This review is only about the company's inability to get me an estimate on a project.

They got interviewed and he seemed the most responsible and he had reasonable prices. They were very professional and the job was well done. They did not cheat me and they cleaned up. They were timely.

The final deck turned out exactly as we envisioned it. There were a few issues with the sub-contractor but Dillman handled them with professionalism and delivered as promised. I would definitely use Dillman Brothers for another project.

They did good work. They showed up when they said they showed up. The only problem I had was that I have a much larger project and they didn't seem like they wanted to bid on that so I probably won't use them again.

They did a great job, but need to communicate very clearly what you expect and what they plan to do. We had a question on what was to be done, but in the end they followed through on what they said they would do and we are enjoying our sunroom dry and sunny. We felt good with the workmanship and hired them later on to replace some gutter on the house.

Timely service...had to wait on weather, but was there shortly after weather was good. When unexpected repairs were necessary they called and price was fair. They ordered some of the wrong style of window. They gave me the option of ordering the style I wanted or give me a discount on the ones they had ordered. Since it was an investment property, I took the discount.

They did a wonderful job cleaning up each day and the finished job looks very nice. Very pleased with their service.

Our Ins co. informed us our roof needed to be replaced to keep our coverage from being dropped. They said it was wavy. I called and requested a few quotes, and we settled on the Dillman Brothers. They worked within the deadline that the Ins co. had set, and did a good job. The lead onsite took time to answer questions and address concerns, and seemed interested in doing a good job, not just getting it done. So, after the job was complete the Ins co. still wasn't satisfied, but Larry Dillman spoke to our Ins agent and together they were able to put to rest any concerns that the Ins provider had.

Great! He came the next day. I wasn't sure if I would need new wiring/electrical work for a new opener, so they came and checked it out. Then came back the next day and did the job. I was quoted $125 plus extra if any extra work or wiring had to be done. They did have to run new wires for the sensors, which my old opener did not have, but they didn't charge for that. Plus they took away the old opener.

They did a really good job and their price was average.

From the start, Scott Wheeler was professional, pleasant and engaging. He listened and responded to my requests. He keep me informed during the whole process. His attention to detail impressed me. He always returned by calls promptly and I never once felt that he was inconvenienced by my calls whenever I had questions.The crew were also professional, pleasant and respectful. They were on time every day. They were not loud. Neighbors even commented on their pleasant manner. They cleaned up after themselves every day. I would definitely recommend Dillman Brothers to anyone needing work on their home.

This is a family company that has good values and honest workers.

I called to make an appointment to have roof looked at on Friday morning March 22, 2013. I was told a salesman would call after lunch. That Friday afternoon Larry Dillman called. I explained what was needed and what I was wanting. An appointment was made for Monday March 25th. at 9 AM. We had 12 inches of snow through early Monday. I received no phone call saying the appoihntment was cancelled. I left at 12:30 PM to run a few errands. While gone Larry Dillman called making an excuse asking me to call back. On Thursday Larry left another message. On Friday I called and spoke to Larry Dillman. He made an appointment for 11 AM Monday April 1, saying he would be nearby at 9 AM and would meet with me after 1 st appointment. Yesterday he never showed or even called. What I needed was flat roof / rubber roof installed. About 1100 sq feet. The rest of that area would have to be torn off and re-shingled. About another 9 squares. So it wouldn't be a tear off one day and shingle the next, no fast easy money is all I can guess. I had even thought about re-shingling the whole house. I did it by myself 20 years ago. 38 squares. I suggest you save your phone call. Don't use these clowns. Unless it's easy money, in and out, they don't appear to be interested.

After contacting the out-of-state warranty company to complain about my siding, I selected Dillman Brothers (DB) to initiate my claim, which consisted of taking pictures of the defective siding and associated paperwork. After I initially provided some personal information, DB took control and coordinated the entire claim. DB provided a time estimate (since they had done this warranty work before) and periodically provided updates, answering all of my concerns while my claim was being processed. After approval of the claim, Karen Dillman coordinated with me to determine whether I wanted to alter in quality or color the current siding, explaining that I would bear any increased cost over what the warranty company would pay ($2,640). I opted to stay with the original siding and after tentatively coordinating a February 2013 install date, DB ordered the siding and delivered to my home, placing it at an appropriate spot in my driveway so as not to block access. DB tore down all the defective siding, which included removing gutter spouts, lighting, and other minor attachments. After some bad weather delays, installation began on the first Saturday in March. My only complaint was that the workman began at 8 a.m. with banging that startled my sleep, which I should have expected. I cannot fault them, however, since the bad weather pushed installation to the weekend and a forecast for more bad weather at the start of the new week did not allow much time given that the home was without siding. The installation took place that weekend and by Monday, the gutter spouts and lighting were replaced, excess material was hauled away, and the workmen cleaned up after themselves as best they could given the cold, muddy conditions. However, they did not return some landscaping materials (bags of rocks, sand, and a wheel barrel) where they had originally been placed near the home, which they left in various locations in the back yard. Although I would have liked to avoid the whole process, DB made it painless and for that, I can earnestly recommend them as a fine company that will extend the extra effort to address your concerns and "make it right." I especially want to thank Karen Dillman for her professionalism during this entire process.

We had a problem with squirrels getting into our house. Pest control company did an examination of the house and noticed a loose screen on the chimney and a vent that wasn't working properly. We called Dillman Bros. The office manager was extremely helpful, but we did have difficulty getting one of the actual guys doing the work to get a hold of us. Granted, we needed a quick turnaround, but it did take more additional phone calls than we expected. Once we heard back from them, the process went very smoothly. Someone came out and examined the chimney and identified that the screen was completely damaged. He left because he needed to purchase the replacement screen. He came back a day or two later and swapped out the screen on the chimney. He also blocked entry into the vent with long nails, so squirrels could no longer enter through the opening. We have moved from the home, so I can't say that the squirrels are no longer getting into the house, but we were pleased with the appearance of the work. The new screen looked good on the chimney and the use of nails to prevent entry into the vent was a cheap, practical way to take care of that matter.

we used this company initially for new windows. we were impressed with that job so hired them for new siding and gutters. we wanted steel siding which not everyone is able to do as it takes different tools than vinyl. .mr. Dillman told us the crew was not the fastest but would do a great job. He was right on both counts but the crew was hampered by days of bad weather. the end product was definitely worth the wait! the house looks fabulous. we have had lots of compliments on the work. we also had a wrap around porch added and they worked around the contractor doing that work. each crew....siding and gutters....cleaned up each day.

They have done excellent work for me in the past, but seem to have gotten so busy that it is difficult to get them to do work. Disappointing. They were someone I could rely on, but have found that is no longer the case. I always wonder how one gets to be the privileged one that they do do work for.
