Our experience with John was better than we could have hoped for. I was extremely suspicious of real estate agents prior to meeting John, being afraid of loosing control of the process because of our lack of experience. Contrary to my fears, John was patient, deferential, responsive, personable, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. He put us at ease. Moreover, John was a delight to interact with. We spent roughly 100 hours looking at houses with John, and he made it fun. Also, John has a long history with the Cham-bana real estate market. In several cases, we viewed houses that he had sold in the past. Most importantly, John avoided the common sin of buyers real-estate agents - steering the buyer toward properties beyond their price range in order to increase the agent's commission. John never exerted any pressure to go toward more expensive properties. In fact, in several cases, he counselled us against houses outside our price range. I would definitely use John again.
