Aladdin Electric

Prompt response to my request for installation of an outdoor outlet on my garage. Colin had to crawl around in a small attic space to run the conduit. He was very professional and really pleasant to work with. This is the best electrical contractor I have worked with so far.

Was given the run around about when they would be able to do a simple repair project at my residence. Apparently, they were busy with apartments on campus that they had a contract for service with. Was told I would be worked in on a certain day, but was never contacted again. I called and was again given a day that they would "try" to work me in, but again I didn't hear from them. It was over a week later when I heard back and, by then, I had the small electrical problem fixed with another company.

They repaired the outlet on the porch. They looked at the two light fixtures in the backyard. They both worked, but one had a bad bulb.

I can't say enough about the team at Aladdin. When I called most recently to schedule, they were able to send someone the very next morning - and before a busy holiday weekend. No matter which electrician is here (Frank, Justin, Marty) they're all professional, efficient, easy to work with, have a good sense of humor, and tell me what my options are. I highly recommend this team.

Excellent. Mike Armstrong was very responsive. Quick to return calls, courteous, considerate, professional. (Such a difference from other electricians in the area that I'd tried.) Marty showed up as scheduled and did a terrific job. Finished the various jobs and repairs in one day. Left the entire area clean. Highly recommended.

Service upgrade, new switches, new plugs

Mike was prompt in returning my call and giving me a quote on the work, something that other electricians in the area that I called had failed to do. He was able to schedule his crew for a few days later. The electricians were prompt, friendly, completed the work as requested and cleaned up after themselves. The final cost was in line with what I was quoted. I would call Aladdin if I need an electrician again.

I can't say enough good about these people! I really appreciate Marty, Frank, JJ and Shelby's help. They were absolutely wonderful.

Kind and pleasant phone reception and scheduling. Tech was prompt, polite, and competent. He took the light fixture apart, replaced a corroded socket, cleaned and reassembled. He also took time to show me what he found before replacing the part. The service was completed within one hour. Most importantly, the light works!

I contacted Aladdin by phone on Friday 6/27 and inquired if they could complete the electrical work i described the following week. I was told it should be no problem and someone would contact us later that day to schedule. Tuesday morning I called again as the call had never come. I was then told the job could not be done until the following week.

They figured out fairly quickly that the ground wires were incorrectly attached. They fixed the issue and grounded all the outlets in the master bedroom and bath. I was very very happy with their work and will absolutely use them in the future and will recommend them.

It was my wife's bathroom and he was very patient with explaining what would be involved and where she could have the outlet moved to with the least amount of tearing things up. Very good experience overall as far as I'm concerned

Perfect work - perfect every thing!!

They were very efficient. It took them only 4 days to do it since they did such a good job. They thought ahead and went above and beyond with the work.

I love them. They do good work. They are neat and clean. They clean up after themselves. They are friendly. I would absolutely use them again. They are a union shop and they are competitive pricewise with other people. I've found that when I use certified union labor, a lot of people are concerned about cost and I've found them to be very competitive with other companies.

We did some electrical work when we moved in. He basically rewired the house. We were buying the house from the guy for cheaper. It was an old house, the wiring was done long time ago and certain things were added overtime, so he just totally rewired and got everything up the code. I have no idea about the price. We talked to an electrician, a friend we have from where we moved and he thought it was reasonable. We were moving from out of the state, so I think it was fine and we didn't really compare. We had to pay to have him go in there and let us know what all was wrong before we even put an offer on the house. We kind of rushed him because we needed to go ahead and move in. There were couple of things he had to do, so he had to come back and re-do it and they did it right away.

The repairman did a good job. The main problem was that he did not give me a full estimate. When I asked how much extra it would be to repair a 2nd light fixture (that we didn't really need) he quoted me what turned out to be the cost of the materials, but left out the labor which was 3X as much! I would not have said to go ahead and fix it if he'd quoted the actual cost.

The switch was replaced and I was happy about that, but not much else. I don't believe I can rely on this company to do what it says it will do.

the price in the end was a high-end price, but the work performed was not high-end (i.e., no litttle extras were added despite the price going up)

The electrician that the company sent us promptly found the short that 3 other electrician from other companies couldn't find. It was obvious the person was properly trained tradesman the way he was methodically isolate the wiring that was comping from the tripping breaker and follow it to the source of the short. The company is understandably quite busy, so I've had to wait a bit before they could send someone out. However, the courteous manner I was treated from the office and the electrician and ,of course, the quality of the work performed were top notch, and they would be the first electrician I would contact for the future jobs.

They were very prompt and did a good job. They cleaned up well.

The office staff are great to deal with on the phone. The contractors are professional and always seem to do just a little more than expected. They're as willing to work on outdoor and landscape lighting as indoor. I would recommend these excellent professionals to anyone who needs electrical work done.

We called to get repairs done for my father, who has dementia, while we were visiting from out of town. His doorbells and bedroom phone weren't working. The company made an appointment for the next day and came out promptly. The repairman checked both the front and back doorbells and spent a lot of time looking for the breaker (? not sure that's what he called it), which he was unable to find (he thinks it might have been hidden inside a wall), because he was reluctant to replace the doorbell, only to find out that it still wouldn't work. He went ahead with a repair anyway, replacing both the front and back doorbells and the indoor chime. It worked perfectly. Then he looked at the phone but was unable to test the line because we didn't have a spare phone. He counseled us to buy a cheap phone and test it, so we could see if it was the phone or the wiring. We went out that afternoon and bought a phone and it worked. Throughout the entire visit, he was conscientious and courteous, even answering my father politely when he made off the wall comments.
