basement remodeling
+ -1 moreI found out later that the wiring was done wrong and kept blowing the circuit breakers. The measurements we off and my laundry room was off by a couple of feet and I can't open the dryer all the way. He took walls out around my stairway going to the basement so they wobble. I was so looking forward to having my basement completely redone and it never happened. I am finally getting the front foyer and basement steps done right. I am also getting a door at the bottom of the stairs. ( which Todd said I couldn't do) I don't think Todd knew what he was doing and should never have started the construction business.
Description of Work: I hired this man and his crew to remodel my basement after I had a flood of 2 foot water. Everything was going fine then a couple of weeks into the job he pulled his crew after a couple hours to go to another job. This happened every day then he started skipping days and going to other jobs. I found out that he owed his crew money for work they had done. He started asking for money that I owed him for the job. I gave him $1000.00-2000.00 at a time. He worked on the remodel until he asked for $1500.00 more and I told him I would pay him the balance I owed him when he finished the job. He pulled his crew and never returned. His crew felt bad and said they would return but apparently the boss (Todd Kahley) said "no".
