You never know what company you are calling. Their name is designed to confuse people. When you call to ask if anything is covered, they say no. They would respond back to me to tell me things that weren't covered.

We paid to have them send someone out to look at our hardwired microwave. However, the company they sent won't take the microwave down and uninstall it. The home warranty company wanted us to pay to have it taken out and uninstalled, as well as paid to have the new one put in. The service provider said that the home warranty company would only pay for replacement parts.

I just renewed my policy with Global Home USA in March. In the cover letter they sent me it stated the list of items around the home that would be covered for replacement/repair by my policy. Recently my attic fan started squeaking and making a lot of noise. The cover letter stated that attic fans would be covered. I contacted Global Home USA to file a claim and have it repaired and they informed me that in the fine print of the contract with them it stated that attic fans were in fact, not covered. This made me very upset. This is not the first time that I have received the run around from them on replacing or fixing something in my home that is supposed to be covered. When I needed my 12 year old furnace replaced, the contractor who was working on it had to pursuade them to pay for him to replace the entire unit with a new one when all they wanted to do was pay to have it fixed. For $385.00/ year and an additional $75 deductible, I feel like this type of repsonse from a company is awful. For now I am keeping my coverage with them, just in case something that they will cover needs repaired or replaced. I will not be renewing my policy with them next year.
