+ -1 more*LOOK NO FURTHER—YOU’VE FOUND YOUR ROOFING COMPANY HERE* I can’t say enough good things about working with Tremont Roofing. Insurance fought me tooth and nail, trying to insist that I didn’t have hail damage and Eddie really went to bat for me. He came back a second time to take additional pictures and a third time to be here when a second insurance adjuster was sent to my house. Megan, with whom the majority of my communication was with, is absolutely fantastic to work with. She would reply to all of my emails almost immediately, regardless of how late in the night I sent them or if it was a weekend. She thoroughly answered all of my questions (which there was a never ending list of as a first time homeowner going through this process). She was way more helpful than my insurance agent with supporting and navigating me through the process. At the end I was also given a $1000 off “coupon” to cover my insurance co-pay so that my roof replacement was entirely FREE. They did a great job replacing my roof and gutters and they cleaned up after themselves so well that I couldn’t tell anyone had even been at my house. I truly couldn’t have asked for more. This is a good, honest company who takes pride in doing great work. Thanks again for everything, Eddie and Megan!!! Of note: my aunt and uncle also had their roof replaced recently and used Tremont roofing as well. Their experience was just as wonderful as mine.

+ 1 moreWanted to charge me $30, JUST FOR AN ESTIMATE, and told me it would be well into the next year before they could start. 1st off, it's just bad business to charge for an estimate, especially when you know darn well the prices will change when you can't start the work for well over a year.

+ -1 moreI ran out of time to install roofing before winter. I called Tremont Roofing. They came out within a couple days, looked at it, gave me an estimate, and said they could do it the next week. I thought their estimate was high, but there were no other contractors who were interested in doing the job. We exchanged several phone calls to make sure I had the right materials. He was easy to work with and very professional. They came out Tuesday the next week installed the sheeting, felt, drip edge and moved the singles to the peak of the roof. They came back on Thursday and finished the rest. My wife handed them a check for the agreed to estimate. The roof looks good and the quality of workmanship looks good. Other than a few scraps left in the attic and a few cigarette buts on the ground, they did a fairly good job cleaning up. They left a small pile of scraps for me to dispose of.
Description of Work: Labor to install roofing (sheeting, ice and water barrier, felt, drip edge, asphalt shingles, and ridge vent) on a 20x20 shed with a 8:12 pitch roof. I provided the materials.

+ -1 moreThey worked out perfectly! They were wonderful to work with! They came in and got all of their mess cleaned up. They really did a good job and were in and out of here within three days. I got five other estimates. They may have been a smidge higher in cost, but they were worth the money for the quality. They were the only company willing to do my side of the duplex in case the neighbor was not willing to replace their roof. They went above and beyond to accommodate.

Description of Work: Complete replacement of my roof. First time I've ever replaced a roof. Tremont Roofing was recommended to me by multiple friends. They were very responsive to my request for information, set up a meeting to discuss the replacement quickly, and answered all my questions throughout the process, even supplying me with shingle samples within 24 hours of my request, and their office is almost an hour's drive from my home. Roofing crew arrived on time as arranged, even after we rescheduled my replacement moving it FORWARD in time. Crew was friendly, efficient, and NEAT, cleaning up each day. Three of the four days of work were 90-95 degrees, and they worked about 7:30-2:30 or 3:00, finishing the roof just in time for the first rain we've had in over a week. They were also detailed. I've inspected my roof from my upstairs windows this afternoon. I found nails in portions of my flashing where there were none before, and they not only nailed the flashing down, they caulked around the nail heads. Wow!Only hitch was that I was told the job would be 1 1/2 - 2 days. I was skeptical about that, and it was 3 1/2 - 4. It might have been three long days in 70 degree weather. No problem.I put some of the best shingles I know of on my roof and chose them for their durability and hail impact resistance (see the price). They will last longer than I plan to be in this house, but if I need roofing work in the meantime, I'll be calling Whistle's Tremont Roofing.
