+ -1 moreThe work went well. The team was courteous, asked good questions when needed, and were efficient. They cleaned up, protected my wife's roses, and did an overall excellent job on a steeply pitched, gabled, two-story walkout home.
Description of Work: Koch tore off my old roof and replaced it with a new 50 year system.

Description of Work: I found Koch Konstruction on Angie's List and was pleased to see they had several excellent reviews. While they're a little farther away than all the other roofing contractors we inquired with, I went ahead and called them anyway. Mr. Koch assured me that we are located just within the border of their service area and he would be happy to come out and bid our project. When he was telling me a little about his company I was utterly shocked to hear him make a very racist statement, "I hire ONLY white people for my team." He told me he would drive down to our place the very next day to bid on our project. He never showed up and never called us either.

+ -1 moreExcellent -- it took his 7 guys 7 hours, and it appears perfect, The yard around the house is cleaner than it was before they came. Clean-cut guys, we left for 1-1/2 hours while they were here, and left the house open.
Description of Work: New roofing, and added rooft vents.

+ -1 moreKoch was easy to work with and was flexible in meeting our needs. He worked with us all the way from diagnosing the need to replace the roof (his assessment was honest and reasonable) to choosing the correct quality level of materials through installation.
Description of Work: Koch Konstruction provides high quality work at a reasonable price. They will not be the cheapest price but they are arguably still the best value.

+ -1 moreOverall, they did a nice job. They had plenty of options in style and color and were patience during our decision time. The crew was efficient and took cautions not to destroy our lawn in the process. They cleaned up pretty well from tearing the old shingles off. I would use them again but hope this roof lasts as long as we do!
