Description of Work: We emailed the company to schedule an estimate and we were promptly contacted. During our appointment, Chris came to take measurements and he was extremely attentive to what needed to be done. He was very nice and knowledgeable about the work at hand, answering any questions that we had and thoroughly explaining the company's practices and how the project would be completed. We were happy with everything presented to us. After a few emails to iron out some changes to the scope of work, we decided to proceed with them for our painting project. When the time came for the work to be completed, the crews were always nice and prompt. Since my wife and I both work full-time, we had my mother stay at the house everyday in case any questions arose about the job. There were no major hiccups and she always commended the crew on their courteousness. However, after the job was completed and we began utilizing the painted spaces, we started noticing the sloppy work left behind... We live in a new construction home and, prior to painting, we had our contractor come out to fix any nail pops that we found. We were assured by Chris that if any were missed, the crew would fix them prior to painting. They did not. We have also found numerous paint splatters on tiled floors, light fixtures/bulbs, door handles, switches, mirrors, etc. There was even paint inside an electrical socket which we did not notice until we plugged in an iron and blew a fuse. But the most disappointing sight are the sloppy taping jobs that resulted in splatter and uneven lines around our baseboards and some window and door trims. Unfortunately for my wife and I, we never had time to contact the company to address the issue, as we had family staying with us right after the project was completed, along with a baby on the way. I believe we also got to the point where we did not want them to come back to compound any of the issues or hear any excuses... So while the company may have courteous and detail-orientated representatives, I cannot in good faith recommend their painting crews for any future projects.

Description of Work: We called for an estimate, and they do not do what we need done.

Description of Work: Painted two bedrooms, one bathroom, laundry room and upstairs and downstairs hallways. Repaired all nail holes and nail pops.

Description of Work: We had them paint the finished basement, the basement bedroom, varnish the stair railing that goes to the basement and the hallway to the basement. They also did the kitchen hallway, kitchen baseboard, two kitchen bay windows and kitchen ceiling. They then painted the powder room walls and baseboard, the hallway and ceiling upstairs to bedrooms, two large bedrooms, the upstairs ceiling in the bathroom. They also painted the outside front door, outside front window, bay window in living room, varnish the outside back door and hung a piece of wallpaper by the kitchen sink area. Almost forgot the spindles on two staircases.

Description of Work: My kitchen, family room, foyer, laundry room, and several hallways were painted. Also, they touched up several spots throughout my home. Wallpaper was hung in my bathroom and they had to do a lot of drywall repair because of all the nail pops in my home.

Description of Work: Painting was done in our Master Bedroom, Master Bath, and Guest Bath. Additionally, wallpaper was removed from both bathrooms and the walls were washed and prepped for painting. 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Aura paint were applied on the walls and one coat of Benjamin Moore white was applied on each ceiling. The paint was included in the above amount. There were multiple nail pops to be repaired as well as some damage done by a Lazyboy chair in the Master Bedroom. As a first-time customer with JonDec, I was afforded a consultation with an Interior Decorator who assisted us with color selection.

Description of Work: It is so refreshing to use a company that does such high quality work. Jondec has done numerous painting and decorating jobs in our home over the years. In our "old" home they removed wallpaper, patched walls, painted and did several types of faux painting. In our "new" home they have painted and done faux painting to really make a statement but also to make our house feel like a home. Their recommendations for colors and finishes is always "right on". Everything they have ever done has turned out so beautiful and professional. Visitors to our home are in awe of the finishes and the perfect line demarkation at the ceilings. I love that I feel comfortable enough to leave the crew alone in my home. I have recommended them to numerous individuals over the years and have never had any negative feedback. They are truly an excellent painting and decorating company!!!
