JONDEC PAINTING

He took the time and he took the patience with me. He had a lady come out and give me a color consultation, to help me with my colors. The painters were excellent, they were very professional; they even walked through the house, and anything we felt that was wrong, they would correct. They were excellent, and I am very picky. They are one of the best painters, I am going to have them come out again. He gave me the low odor paint and it was excellent. Anything we felt that was wrong, they would stop and correct. He was very patient with me because I was getting other estimates, he waited about 6 months and then called me back. He did it the way I wanted it too and he helped me get the colors. He was here everyday on time at 7:30. He was here for 4 days and they didn't paint the whole house because I ran out of money, but they did an excellent job. They painted 2 coats on the wall and did my ceiling with 1 coat. They settled all of the cracks in the house and they sanded every wall in this house. They were very professional, which I liked. Even though I thought they were expensive, this house won't need to be painted for another 8 years.

Estimate was done in a professional manner with enthusiasm. Both painters were very professional, courteous, clean work practices, and quiet workers.

It went very well. The wallpaper was completely removed; none remained. The parts that needed patching were done so well I can't even tell where the holes were to begin with. Matt took attention to every detail, and made sure I was happy. I was very impressed with the clean-up. There is no dust from the walls, and no paint any where it shouldn't be.I was also impressed with the promptness. He said he'd be here at 7:30 AM and he was. I very happy as I have two sons I needed to get to school. My younger son has asthma. John used the eco-paint so the smell would be less for my son. He was very honest when it came to paying for the paint. He told me it was the same price as the others, so there'd be no extra charge. I definitely recommend Jondec.

The owner, John, responded quickly to my call for an estimate. He came to our home very soon after that. I liked the fact that he wanted to begin by sitting down to talk with me to understand our needs and any special requirements we might have. He took measurements and gave me the written estimate before he left. He even provided proof of insurance! After selection, he responded quickly to any questions we had. He was respectful of our time, and made sure that our work would be completed during the timeframe he had given me with the estimate... even though the bad weather was causing him a lot of scheduling problems. Although initially I didn't think I needed to utilize the color consutation services, I'm really glad that I met with the designer. She looked at the sample colors my husband and I had picked out and listened carefully to what we were trying to achieve in each room. She recommended very similar colors that would work better in our rooms, as well as the ragging treatment. She faxed the information to Jondec the same day, so that the paint could be purchased. I'm glad I took her advice...thanks to the professional job done by the Jondec crew, our condo looks great! It was a pleasure to have the Jondec employees in our home - they were all friendly and professional. Before they started work, the crew leader reviewed the projects with me; he also followed up at completion. The crew moved furniture and carefully protected surfaces as needed and cleaned up throughout the day, with special care at the end of the day. They were on time every day and worked hard all day. They kept me informed every step of the way, including the courtesy of telling me when they were going to take a short break or lunch. We are very pleased with the work done by Jondec Painting and would certainly use them again.

He and his team were phenomenal, polite and respectful. They did what they said they were going to do. They did a beautiful job. His price was the most reasonable. He was the most professional in terms of his measurements and the way he handled it. He works with a woman who is an interior designer. He had a professional assistant for color selection. I have never had a painting job done so professionally.

John and his team were fantastic. Originally I had them scheduled to come out the week before, the team came but I just had my hardwood floors refinished and they weren't completely dry. They did everything to accommodate me and reschedule for the following week. I could not have been more pleased or impressed with them. They did a beautiful job and one of the crew members was nice enough to clean my fan in the great room. This firm is all about customer service and doing a superior job. I would highly recommend the firm and hire them again.

Angie's List is a valuable resource, but not many service providers on the list are in my immediate area. Fortunately, Jondec Painting is on Angie's List and nearby in Tinley Park. A local painter couldn't even give an estimate because they are not certified to do the lead testing and removal. Jondec did the job courteously and efficiently including clean-up. They are friendly and easy to work with. They included painting the front wrought iron railings, something I hadn't even thought of, and definitely a plus.

Jondec was the best painting contractor I didn't use. Would definitely consider this company for future needs. This estimate had to be submitted to a condo board for approval and due to budget constraints the work was postponed indefinitely. My sense was that John of Jondec was the type of contractor that would go above and beyond to keep his customers happy. His prices are on the high end but usually, in my experience the best contractors are at the higher end. Hopefully I will have the chance to use their services in the near future.

I found Jondec on Angie's list and called for an estimate. John the owner came out and walked through the house with us. He is extremely nice and professional. We were on the same page with the type of eco paint to use. I received the estimate via email I think it was the next day. The price was very good and I decided to go with him based on the Angie's List reviews and just meeting him. We weren't in the house yet so we had to book about 3 weeks out. I had trouble deciding on colors for so many rooms, and John offered a design consultant who came over and helped me pick all the colors! She steered me towards a better flow of colors from room to room which ended up looking amazing. We kept in touch to firm up the start date and the actual painting took 4 1/2 days. They came exactly on time every day they said they would, and begin at 7am sharp. The workers are very professional and had the cathedral ceiling done in about a day and most of the walls in the living/dining done on day 2. They do a base coat where needed and are very careful to patch everything before painting. The eco paints he chose have very little odor after about a day. Most of the odor comes from the base coat and ceiling paint I think. The rooms look amazing and have transformed the all white house! And then they come back for a final walk through and do any touch ups you want done. I can't say enough about Jondec and what a great job they do. A true delight to work with.

John came within a few days of my call and gave me the estimate after going over everything with me. His price was so much lower than what I had anticipated based on what I had paid to have just my kitchen and bathroom done a few years ago. He even explained the insurance which I have never had anyone do before. He was very nice and gave me the feeling that he was very trustworthy. He said that it would probably be about five weeks before they could get to me but I could be put on the rain list if they had a cancelletion due to the weather. I was elated when I got a call less than a week later asking if they could do my house in three days. The painters showed up promptly at 7:30 and went over the job with me and asked if I had any questions or concerns. They were very professional and did an excellent job. When they left at 3:30 there was practically no clean up (which I really appreciated) and I was ready to set my rooms back up. I especially liked that I didn't need to take a lot of things out of the room. They moved and replaced all the furniture and I just had my pictures and lamps to put back. I highly recommend this company both for the money and the quality of work.

The job went extremely well. We received a phone call about a week prior to the start date saying they could start in the morning if it was okay by us. It was definitely ok to start a week early. They arrived at 8:30 am as expected. They filled in all the holes and taped and then a 3 gentlemen joined them. The three painters had the large area finished completely by 3:30 pm. They were very nice, respectful and clean. I would definitely use Jondec painting again.

They were awesome. He was very knowledgable. He has an interior decorator that will help pick out colors at no extra charge. They had a late winter special where he took an extra $200.00 off of the estimate. They had a wonderful price from the beginning. He was very down to earth and friendly. He was very prompt and professional. We had a family emergency and couldn't move forward with the project at that time. We are really looking forward to working with them.

Great from start (estimate) to finish (painting and clean up)

JonDec is the absolute best painting company that I have ever worked with. John is fair and takes such great care of his returning customers. We could not have afforded to do this painting if it weren't for the special John ran in January for longtime customers. We got a great deal and John kept his crews working. Win win. As usual, Wayne was our team leader. Working with Wayne and JonDec is just one of the best customer service experiences one could hope for. Wayne and Sean showed up exactly on time both days and worked steadily throughout the time they were here. They work neatly and quickly and show ultimate respect for us, our belongings and our home. These guys moved some really big furniture this time. I didn't worry for a minute, which is really saying something for me! Everything was put back EXACTLY where it came from and in the same condition. The drywall repairs and the water damage repairs were perfect. Wayne took extra care with the crack and nail pops in the family room when we told him that they had been repaired by another company long ago and had returned. We are hopeful that this is the last repair we need. If you didn't know where the repairs were made you would never know there had been a problem. These guys are true craftsmen. We used Aura paint and JonDec applied two coats. The rooms are stunning.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of Mr. Jondec when he came to my home. He immediately gave me an estimate and we were able to set up a date to complete the job. His son who works for him , and another gentleman, came to my home and did the painting. They were very polite and professional. The only thing I wish I had discussed with them is to take the electrical plates off the walls before painting them. As far as their work , I felt they did a very good job. My ceiling was white , but I had them paint the walls purple. It looks great, their lines, between the ceiling and the walls were perfect. They put 2 coats of paint on both the walls and the ceilings. It's very hard to find a reliable, professional painter, so I am planning on calling them back to do more interior painting in my home

I called Jondec Painting for an estimate and John responded immediately, came and provided the estimate, also information about his company, insurance certificate and also references. Jondec is absolutely the best and professional company and very knowledgble of their trade., as I was not sure of the type of paint to used, John suggested an eco friendly paint and upgraded the paint without additional charge. Our project took three days, and John was very professional when I had to change the start day of the job, John asked if they could work on Saturday, because he wanted to complete our job before moving on to the next job and he would not be able to get back to us for a week. Jondec Team arrived on time each day and was very professional. I did not like the paint in hallway closet and the Jondec Team said no problem and proceeded to repaint the closet. I feel Jondec and his Team do their job with a smile and to your satisfaction. The team cleaned up thoughout the day upon leaving each room and each night. They kept their laydown area clean and orderly every day. I feel Jondec and his team treated my house as if it were there own. I would recommend Jondec Painting without any hesitation, because of their professionalism and the care they take of your home.

John gave me a detailed estimate of the work to be done itemizing the repair work and specifying that pearl finish paint would be used in the hall, stairway, and kitchen and that eggshell finish would be used in the dining room. The estimate also specified that they would use primer on repaired areas and use 2 coats of paint. I agreed and the work was scheduled for 2 weeks from then. On the scheduled day the 2 painters arrived about 8am. They were pleasant, friendly and hard-working. They finished about 3pm and cleaned up very nicely. After the painters left, I noticed they had missed one of the dents in the kitchen ceiling. I called John the next day and he came the day after and examined it. He was pleasant and didn't have any problem about coming back to fix this dent. We agreed on a date and the painter came on that date and now it looks great. Addendum: 4/19/2010 I had them come out and they repaired the ceiling. There was another spot that started to peel. They came out immediately to fix it at no charge since they guarantee their work for 3 years.

They were on time, which is always highly unusual with painters. They were extremely thorough and accommodating. I would definitely recommend them in the future.

Jondec is absolutely the best company we have used in the past 12 years. The project took 3 full days, with at least 3 and sometimes 4 Painters working at a time. John only uses quality products and always seeks to insure that his company is up-to-date on all of the newest techniques and products. We appreciate that he offers earth friendly products. We always feel that we are getting our money's worth and more from Jondec because of the quality work and products. Wayne and his industrious crew worked diligently every moment they were in our home. Wayne explained the plan to us, gave us an opportunity to ask questions and then went to work. They arrived on time each day. Drop cloths were utilized and every piece of furniture was carefully moved, covered, and then replaced by the crew. We were unsure of the colors we had chosen. Wayne did color boards for us of the faux finishes so that we could visualize the end result before it ended up permanently on the wall. This was appreciated. The final faux finish affect was gorgeous. No matter how many times we asked them what we were afraid were stupid questions, they were always patient, polite and reassuring. The team cleaned up throughout the day and upon leaving each room. We expected a worse mess from the wallpaper removal, but we were pleasantly surprised. We used other wallpaper removal companies in a different home and we know that they are not as careful as Jondec. Seriously, these guys are terrific craftsmen and they couldn't be more polite and respectful. We really feel that they treated our home as if it were their own home. It's hard to have one's home invaded but these folks make it about as painless as one could hope for.

Jondec is a company that all service companies should model themselves after. We have complete faith that we will get exactly what we are charged for and more. This company has integrity and stands behind their work. John uses quality material, keeps up on the newest technology, and hires Painters that are extremely polite and hard-working. Matt and his crew are young men that you don't have to be afraid to have around your family. That's worth a lot to us. John used a wood filler that is quite new on the market to make repairs to some rotted sections of our fascia. He had a Painter that he'd sent to a special class to learn how to use the product accomplish our repair. John's schedule is always full. We were getting a new dog and we asked John if he could do the entry deck part of the job before the rest of the job. He said he try....and he came through for us. This company is dedicated to customer service and they deliver. The team arrived on time each day and immediately set out to work. They worked hard for 3 days, in some blistering heat, without complaint. The house looks beautiful! Jondec will be the only painting company we will ever hire as long as they remain in business.

Choose Jondec because of the great ratings on Angie's List and they did not disappoint. John came out the very next day after I called for the estimate. His team started work 1 week later. They were here for three days. Always on time. Wayne and his crew did a fabulous job! We're thrilled with the result. We have already scheduled an additional job with them!

Jondec was EXCELLENT!! They promised to be done in 3 days and they were actually done early. The two painters arrived on time each day and moved whatever furniture each day, causing minimal interruption to our evenings.

John told us that would be no problem and would follow up with us in early January. He called in January and we scheduled the work. His crew of two men showed up on time and got to work immediately. They were in our home for two days and we barely noticed they were there. They did a wonderful job of prepping the walls, painting and cleaning up after the job. We have four children and, needless to say, our walls were very banged up. The walls now look brand new! We did receive two other quotes for painting that were slightly lower but decided to go with Jondec, even though it was a little more expensive, because we were very impressed with John and his professionalism. We definitely made the right decision and will be calling Jondec for our future painting projects.

Called Jondec Painting and spoke to John that day. We set up a day convenient for me to meet him for a walk-through of the condo for an estimate. He wrote me an estimate that day, breaking out prices for everything! This company also gives a number, and one consultation with an interior designer to go over color selection and finishing ideas. I was extremely glad to work with designer, Barb, because she was great at helping me decide on colors and finishes for the condo. Jondec Painting was able to set up the start of the project quickly, and I met the crew on the project start date. The crew was on time and very professional. I felt very comfortable with the crew lead, Wayne! The project was completed 1/2 a day before proposed. I did a walk through and was completely satisfied with the wonderful work Jondec did. The painting was very professional and the condo was clean. I am very happy with the work and the professionals at Jondec Painting.
