JONDEC PAINTING

We contracted Jondec about a month ago to do an interior painting to our new home. Me and my husband were very pleased and satisfied with the outcome. When we had our kitchen cabinets installed the installers messed up some part of the wall and ceiling. So we contacted them again to do some touch-up. John came up to see the scope of the project and gave us the qoute. Jondec have always been so easy to deal and work with. We were thankful that they are flexible enough to work on our schedule. We highly recommend JONDEC.

Good communication-kept informed of proposed schedule. Arrived on time-job completed in two days. Excellent work. Will hire again.

I am extremely pleased with the service and quality results of my paint job, and especially with the professional patching of the cracks. Jason and Mike were very courteous and willing to go the extra mile to make sure my questions were answered. John (Owner) was very knowledgeable and gave me a reasonable deal on the cost of the job. If I could give them an A+++, I would. Every person I dealt with at Jondec, from the owner, to the crew supervisor, was just wonderful. My Mom passed away months ago, and in March I started preparation to place her home on the market. Since her house is almost 45 years old, it looked a little tired. There were some persistent cracks in the LR and hallway ceilings that had been patched repeatedly over 35 years, and there was some damage to a wall in the hallway. I live 2+ hours away, and the only day of the week I can make the trip to my Mom's property is Saturday. When I explained this to Jondec, they squeezed me into their busy schedule on a Saturday to provide a free estimate. They gave me sound suggestions, explained how the repairs would be made, and were, in my opinion, reasonably priced considering the scope of work done. The back stairwell was particularly challenging. Not only had it been last painted in the 1970s, but my late father used enamel paint. The enamel had to be completely sanded off before it could be repainted. There was also some damage to a wall in the hallway that produced a hole the size of a grapefruit down near the baseboard. Jondec explained exactly how they planned to make the repair. They were very attentive, very punctual and extremely professional. When I came back to complete the final walk-thru with Matt, I was astonished by the excellent work they did. My Mom's house, which is almost 45 years old, looked spacious and sparkling clean. The repairs they made were literally INVISIBLE, and they did a good job of cleaning up. I would highly recommend Jondec.

They have done all of our painting. They have painted all of the inside of our house and most recently they stained our fence. They are always very punctual. I've had to tell them to wait and they did that. They were very mute, I couldn't even tell they were there. They have excellent customer service. They are very neat, you get a quality job. We've been 3 different people and these people are wonderful. I will never use anyone else again. The price was a little high in my opinion.

We went with another provider due to scheduling but I wouldn't hesitate to pass along Jondec to a friend or to call them next time.

The group was very professional throughout the process, from the initial visit to the home to discuss the job, to the painters that came to complete the job. They staffed the job so that they finished early, and the quality of the work was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone, and plan to utilize them again if I need additional paining done.

Called and lined up a estimate online. Scheduled for Monday the 27th. About a week went by and I was sent a email on the Saturday before, that the appointment was cancelled do to the holiday! Then Sunday they sent me a email stating that I had a appointment scheduled for Monday the 27th. for a estimate!!!!!! I figured that was a automated reminder and I was right no one showed up. These guys are messed up with their scheduling, follow up and monitoring of their systems.

They did a very good job. They scraped and painted the outside part of my house. They gave a very thorough proposal and finished the job in the right amount of time that they estimated. The three guys who did the job were very pleasant, personable and has good customer service.

We're very pleased with JonDec Painting - from the estimate to the actual labor. Everyone was very professional, down-to-earth, and worked in a timely manner. We were quoted for several rooms and ended up doing them all, but one. We also were able to take advantage of the color consultation, which was helpful. JonDec even repaired a drywall patch in our ceiling where some plumbing work had been done. Overall, we're very happy with all of the work and the friendliness of everyone we encountered in the company. We would definitely use them again (and plan too, once we move!). From reading other reviews: we had a feeling what to expect and are happy to say everything fell in line with those expectations. We might have saved a little money using someone else, but for the amount work we wanted done, we wanted to know it would be done well.

Before we decided to go with Jondec we got 3 qoutes from other contractors. When John came over to see the scope of work and explained to us how the painting job will be done including the materials that will be used (Benjamin Moore) and gave us the quote we knew we found the right contractor for the job. John and the rest of the crew were punctual and very professional. It took them 4 days to complete the project and we could never be happier with the outcome. My husband and I highly recommend Jondec Painting.

Jondec Painting did a great job cleaning and staining my two back decks, powerwashing my house, painting and staining my front porch, and restaining a concrete patio. They were pleasant, kept me informed, and got the work done very quickly. Plus, they gave me a discount for being a member of Angies List! I will use them again.

We were very pleased to work with this company. They came out promptly to assess the work that we wanted done and sent us a detailed estimate by e-mail. Communication was very good. They were able to schedule the work in a reasonable amount of time. The walls were repaired very well and the paint job looks great. The painters were friendly and considerate. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

From start to finish it was an excellent experience. John (the owner) showed up to do the initial quote. He was available quickly, and arrived on-time. My first impression was that he looked professional and was generally a really nice guy. It was clear he had a deep understanding of paints, stains, and how to apply them, including the prep work necessary to make sure the application will last. I'm not a very handy guy, so I always feel a little helpless when I need any kind of work on my house done. However, based on John's demeanor and expertise I felt as though I could trust him to do a good job. He took some measurements, and said he'd email me a quote. I received the quote within a day, and we agreed on a price. He said the field supervisor, Matt, would be in touch to discuss scheduling. Matt was in touch within a few days as promised, and was also a very nice, knowledgeable person. He brought some paint so we could try to match my existing paint. I didn't think it was a great match, and asked that we try a few more. Within a day there were 2 more paints for me to choose from - one being a great match. They first scheduled the power washing, then the deck staining, and finally the trim paint. They also installed a piece of trim for me that my builder somehow left off. From the time they began the power washing to the time all of the work was complete was about 10 days, each step taking not more than 1-2 days. They also had to work around some not-great weather. I'm extremely happy with the finished product. My deck feels like new, and the house looks great. They showed up when they said they would, they always responded quickly to all of my emails, and they were nice guys to top it off. I will definitely use Jondec again.

We found Jondec Painting on Angies list. Their rating was next to perfect and they were located in our same town. John Van Groningen came within days of being contacted to give us an estimate. He was very professional and listened to what we wanted done. He also gave us some very good tips on what type of paint should be used in each room. We actually had our bathroom re-painted because it was recently remoeled and the paint job was not good at all. They did a perfect paint job, covered all furniture, taped all areas and throughly cleaned up after the job was completed. They were right on schedule and both rooms were sanded, patched and painted all within one day. We have more rooms to be painted and will definately call them back to help with our projects. They weren't the cheapest quote but "You get what you pay for" and they did a great job! Well worth the money.

Called Jondec Painting to get an estimate on having my exterior two story frame home painted, I was pleased with the price so we set a date to start the work.(They also sent a color consultation out to help me choose a color for the house which is included in the price of the job. one week before the house was to be painted they came out to remove my shutters and window boxes and to power wash the house and did a great job. The day that the house was to be painted the workers showed up at 7am and the crew was very professional (could not have ask for a better crew) they cleaned up beautifully every day before leaving. The paint job was simply neat and beautiful, the follwing week Jondec Painting sent two carpenters out to install my new (22) shutters my window boxes and a octagonal vent (This work was also included in the price. I am so glad that I used Jondec Painting, they always showed up on time and were very professional and I plan on having them paint the interior.

It went fine from start to finish. The project took about 2 1/2 days. They painted the kitchen, living and dining rooms, bathroom, entry ways and hallway. Cleaned up each day after themselves and after they were finished. Did not leave a mess. The workers were a pleasure to have in the house to do the work and were very reliable

John offered helpful tips at estimate, interior decorator Sue was very helpful on color choices, the crew was prompt and profesional from scheduling, working efficiently,moving and replacing furniture, thru cleanup.This was our first time using Jondec, but we would highly recommend this vendor and definetly will use them again. John was just a pleasure to meet with. I really wished I could have used his company. He was already commited on other jobs and could not start on the date I needed. His price was about $500.00 more than I paid, but the timing was my deciding factor.I would call John in the future.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. Very professional, very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we were unable to move forward with any painting at this time due to an unforeseen problem on our part--but we would use this company again without hesitation. Excellent people, excellent service.

They did a great job. I would definitely use them again in the future. They were very professional and their work is excellent. I have already recommended them to others.

Overall the work was great. It was not perfect but very close. There were some areas of the window staining that were not done to my satisfaction but only noticeable upon very close inspection. They generally did well cleaning up after each day of work (with some minor exceptions: like tape being left in rooms, some minor stain not cleaned off of window hardware - all minor things). The drywall work was perfect. They have great customer service and were very accommodating in terms schedule and very responsive to my calls and e-mails. I gave them a B in quality but if there was an A minus option I would have chose that. I gave them a B in price well because they weren't the cheapest option but their work and customer service were worth the extra cost. I do plan to use them again and would recommend them

He arrived on time and spent whole day painting. He did a great job and was never a bother to have in my home all day. He brought his lunch and music and stayed in the unit until all painting was completed. He moved the furniture himself and cleaned up very well.

Siding work was satisfactory. Trim work was satisfactory except for two badly worn window sills. These should have been scraped, filled and sanded but weren't. At the conclusion of the job, I directed the crew chief to call the owner and make an appointment to see me. He came the next day and I showed him the unsatisfactory work. Within three days I had another crew out to correct the problem areas at their expense. Work now is satisfactory. I subsequently contracted with Jondec to paint the window trim on the house. This work was done very well the first time. I've concluded that Jondec Painting is a reputable company that seeks to establish and maintain a reputation of quality work.
