Installers were very professional and informative.

Evolution Installs was super responsive in email communication leading up to the day of installation. Tony, owner of the business, asked good questions to make sure he understood the project before coming on site. On installation day their team of 3 were professional, taking off their shoes, moving furniture, and covering floors. The installation itself was well done. They painted the areas of the wall they had to punch through (we supplied the paint). One challenge that came up was the install of a ceiling fan. We bought the wrong length downrod but Tony figured out a solution to get the fan installed. Tony also made sure to keep us informed during the day as the project moved along. Overall we are very happy and highly recommend Evolution Installs.

Both my husband and I are novices in terms of technology in the AV world, but wanted to do something exciting in our basement from a media perspective. When we began the project, Tony came out (see a previous review) and put in a number of items for us prior to drywall, etc so that everything was already prepped and ready to go when we were ready to add the finishing touches. The largest piece of importance to me was how involved Tony was in the design of the media and his recommendations. We literally had no clue as to how much money you should spend on a receiver, which features are most important and what you can live without, etc. Once the design plan was done, Tony gave us a comprehensive list of the specific equipment we would need and even made recommendations as to the brand, model, etc. This was so incredibly helpful! He has so much experience in knowing which products are easy to use, which ones are not worth the price, etc and he saved us a lot of time and money helping us in this regard. He set up surround sound in the large main area, wall-mounted a wifi TV and also set up another wall mounted TV in an office location. He helped us to set up specific sound speakers over a treadmill area to be able to work out and listen to music/TV effectively. He set up a bunch of equipment to run remotely and also, was able to set up our upstairs TV to be completely wireless. I can't tell you how clean and fresh everything looks with the boxes hidden in closets and not out in the open. He walked my husband through how everything worked and took the remote home with him to program it effectively himself and then brought it back already done for us. We will not use anyone other than Tony for any technology needs that we have in the future as he is simply great from beginning to end.

Tony was great to deal with. He arrived on time, did the installation, patiently went through RCN's activation process. He is knowledgeable about all things related to TV's, wireless networks, and much more. He explained everything in detail. He even provided a cable at no charge, because he found the original cable to be problematic. I would not hesitate to recommend Evolution Installs to anyone.

Before purchasing an Angie's List deal to mount my TV, I went back in forth with Tony to see if any additional work or money would be required. Through e-mails and photos, Tony was able to get back to me very quickly and prepared me for additional costs and work needed. Given his responsiveness, I selected them to mount my TV and sound bar. Tony and his partner did a fantastic job! They were on time, worked quickly and made sure that everything worked correctly before they left. The additional cost outside of the deal were very reasonable. In the future I will only use this company to do theater services and I have already recommended them to a relative.

SPECTACULAR!! Tony is a master at his art and I would not go anywhere else for my A/V needs. Very knowledgeable in the field and makes things work when there seems to be no answer to problems. He is very flexible on the fly with scheduling and adjustments to the plan of the a/v system. He is your man for all your audio video needs!!

Wonderful. The installation team was on time, professional, friendly and very efficient. They completed the work much quicker than I expected and took the time to explain everything and make sure I knew how everything worked correctly. Tony was even willing to give us advice after the install regarding questions I had about our tv. He provided excellent customer service!!

Excellent. Tony is very knowledgeable and, frankly, an artist and perfectionist when it came to doing the job. Nicely done.

He came out to give an estimate, and he was very polite and customer-service oriented then. He was punctual as well. I wasn’t pleased with the estimate though. He explained there would be a cost for concealing the wires – an additional $275. Then I went back and saw that concealment was part of the deal. I felt like the service descriptions weren’t totally accurate. I emailed him about that and he said he explained it to me when he was there. The concealment he was offering was vertical. He replied that the ad did say there were additional costs for electrical work. But I already have an electrical outlet nearby – I can plug in the TV there while mounted. It’s about 2 feet over and a few feet below. That seems like a high charge for the concealment. Why would I even think that wouldn’t be included in the deal details? His last response was a bit snippy and I’ve decided not to use this deal.

I have used Tony at Evolution installs consistently for the last two years for all of my home wiring and AV needs. In total, I've probably had Tony work on 5 different jobs around the house including installing security cameras/DVR, in ceiling speakers, whole home intercom system, distributed audio, TV mounting, etc. Every time Tony comes out to do a job I'm impressed with his thoroughness, no nonsense attitude and pricing, and concern that we (the client) are always satisfied with the work done before he leaves. I have and will continue to recommend Tony to anyone in need of low voltage work and home theater setup.

There were about 15 email threads between us before we met on Saturday morning. Tony is very prompt with responding to emails, even late into the night around 10:30 PM when I least expected any reply. So anyway, he showed up promptly on said date and started working right away, managing to trouble shoot easily when the HDMI fishing expedition did not go smoothly. I had to leave home half way through and came back in the night to find the mess of wires totally gone with a brand new updated system. He spent nearly 4 hours or more doing this. He left my home giving us a ready reference sheet containing a neat table of tabulating the device and inputs to access the appropriate programs which I did not expect at all. Price wise, beyond the two $99 coupons I had purchased, we paid another $240 for the three volume controls he put up for the patio speakers and two zone B speakers. He also tuned the new system to enable a 7.1 configuration for music. To put the cost thing in perspective, I was quoted $5000 for the same work last year (by the person who installed the system earlier) to update if further the way Tony did. The guests at my evening party were in awe of my system, thanks to him. Tony is a "recommend without hesitation" for me.

Ultimately we have decided to put our tv on a tv stand based on complications of our room design, but if we ever decide to revisit the mounting, Tony will be the person we use. I really appreciated all his help leading up to this decision. Some people might not have been so straight forward.

That was fine. We did a consult with them for mounting a flatscreen TV. The tech was clearly an expert. When we do a remodel in our living room, we'll definitely use them!

Great - quick and efficient and explained how to use everthing

Exceptional. Very professional and courteous. Once again I have an issue with Angie's list. I submitted my own review to Tony at Music Evolution as soon as he finished the work at my house. Now here comes Angie's List 3 weeks after the fact bugging me for a review I had already passed on to Tony my appreciation for his service. His professionalism has eclipsed Angie's List in my opinion. Th work was performed at my home not the address you have listed further down the questionnaire. I couldn't correct the answer.

It went great. I have already recommended him to friends and have hopefully he's gotten more business from it.

The Evolution Installs Team did a great job. They removed the TV and all the components (including a huge credenza) from my old home to my new one, and re-installed everything. They were very careful removing and transporting everything (always very important and what a lot of other installers don't do well). They did a very elegant install in my new home, and the final cost was less than what they quoted me because of some things we ended up deciding not to do. I will continue to use Evolution Installs in the future - they're great.

They were able to come out right away. They came out and took care of our problem. There were no additional costs beyond the prepaid rate of the deal. They are very nice people and we would use them again.

Connected TV, DVD player, tuner, receiver, surround sound speakers under control of one universal remote. Considering the age of the equipment, they did a great job and took care to use what we have rather than insisting on purchasing new, but we discussed those options as well. Overall, great job!

They came in and did an excellent job. They kept the safety of my infants in mind and were able to place the brackets in a minimally invasive way. They ended up placing it in a different place than I had expected which required additional cables and the such, but they through those in free of charge. I will be using them again in the near future to install a TV in a different room.

I booked this inadvertently. When I contacted the provider by email, their response was prompt and directed me to request the refund directly from Angie's List.

Tony and his assistant show up on time, walked through the install and explained what they were going to do start to finish. Consulted about the recommended TV height on the wall relative to our seating distance and height. Very informative. Completed in a couple hours start to finish. We got some addition direction on future projects. Great guys and will be sure to recommend them in the future.
