Tony went above and beyond to schedule my installation in a timely manner. He arrived at my home on-time on the day of the installation. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He took the time to discuss the project, gather information from me and provide recommendations based on my plans for the room. The installation itself went quickly and there was no mess left behind. I am thrilled with the entire experience and couldn't be happier with the results. I was so pleased with him and his work that after the installation, I immediately asked him about performing a second TV installation for me. He took the time to look at the project, discuss my options and the costs associated with each. I am definitely hiring him for the second installation and look forward to working with him again. Update: Shortly after my first review, I hired Tony for a second TV installation, the pricing was reasonable and fair (1st installation was Angie's Deal) and the job was completed with the same superb results. I've had nothing but a great experience doing business with Tony and will definitely hire him for any and all future TV/media installations. Update : After having some other remodeling work done in my home, the infrared system for my TV stopped working. I reached out to Tony for assistance with self diagnosis which he immediately provided. When I was unable to resolve, Tony made time in his schedule (within a day) to come to my home to diagnose the issue and resolve it. Tony identified that the issue was as a result of some minor damage to the emitter which he replaced for me at no cost. I think it's safe to say that the damage probably occurred during the remodel which is no fault of Tony's but he fixed it at no charge anyway. I thought customer service was a thing of the past until I started working with Tony - he has always treated me as a valued customer which I truly appreciate. Tony exhibits the highest integrity, is a true professional who does great work and treats the customer with respect. It continues to be a pleasure to work with him. I will use him for all future projects.

Amazing service. Professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. Great work ethic. Went above and beyond. Helped tried to fix HD issues with the cable company after install. Who does that? So patient and polite. Did exactly what was agreed upon with no hidden costs. Felt completely comfortable having him in the house. Cleaned up after the install. Wonderful and I would HIGHLY recommend him!

From the initial quote Tony and his team were extremely professional. He is extremely knowledgeable about the installation of TV's. When his team arrived, he quickly explained what they would be doing. He verified the locations that we wanted the TV's placed. Prior to starting, they put down drop clothes to catch any dirt/dust created from the install. And throughout, they would constantly vacuum up excess dirt that had been created. He treated the installation as though he were doing it for a close friend/family member. Once the install concluded, everything looked great. There were no visible wires despite additional peripherals (cable box & video game system) which was very important to me. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a service provider and I'm very picky. If you pick Tony and his team, you will be very happy with the outcome.

Tony was fantastic to deal with. I live on the NW side of Chicago and I'm outside of his typical service area. He still agreed to make time for me. It is clear he is very knowledgeable about Audio installs. The Service was quick and efficient and price was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Not only am I skeptic when charged hourly let's say I have had some unfortunate experiences in the past. The installer was here on time and equip to handle our job. He was professional and was willing to give us an idea on how long the job would take and approximate cost. All the tough parts of the job but it felt right because he gave information freely and honestly. We purchased new audio surround sound equipment because we thought our system had failed to turn on. He advised to allow him to test the system and sure enough it was still working. Some how he powered down the system and turned it back on the system actually started working. He could have made more money by installing the new system but his work ethic did not allow him to do so. I am truly impressed with his services and would call him if we ever needed anymore work. Our first Angie's list service we ever redeemed and we are very happy we joined. All services will be from Angie's list from now on.

This is my 4th time using Tony and his expertise. This time it was on my mother's new home and installation of a 50" Panasonic Plasma over a fireplace with all controls/boxes in a built in bookcase off to the side. From start to finish, Tony is the best. First he is very flexible with scheduling...I was at the mercy of Comcast and they had a bit of hard time running the line to the unit. Once that was finished, I set up the time to meet. He was on time and prompt. He assessed the situation and jumped right in. In under 2 hours, he had the plasma hanging like a piece of artwork above the fireplace. Fast, conscientious and clean best describe Tony. He does it RIGHT the first time and explains everything when finished. He is very easy to work with and did I mention he cleans up after himself. I can count the number of times I had contractors in my house that they left it in worse shape then when they came. Not Tony...everything is tarped, taped and covered. He vacuums along the way to keep the dust at bay...a big deal for me a neat freak. The Plasma looks like it came with the place!! Overall...I would HIGHLY recommend Tony for all your AV needs.

Tony and one of his coworkers went above and beyond - just fantastic service!! Communication from the beginning was very timely in both scheduling the work and letting me know that there would be an extra charge above the package I purchased, as I was mounting over a fireplace, so extra work would be involved. Once they got to my home and I mentioned eventually getting a soundbar, they indicated they would need to mount at the same time, or at least that would be the most efficient way to do it. These guys waited for me to run to the store to buy a soundbar. Unfortunately I bought a soundbar that was more of a sound system, and wasn't able to be mounted, and so they waited for me to go return it, and buy another one. They were quick, super efficient, trustworthy (I left them alone in my home for 30-45 min two different times), patient, pleasant and very good at what they did. Our tv and sound system look great. In addition, the additional charge (even with the soundbar installation that wasn't originally in my request for work) was not as bad as I expected. Very very reasonable. Highly recommend!!

Tony was awesome. Arrived right on time and was 100% professional. Did a great job hiding the cabling behind the wall, and had all the parts needed on-hand -- including a TV mounting bracket we thought we had, but didn't -- so the job was done on the day. (He charged a fair price for the parts, too.) Highly recommended for any A/V installation needs.

Tony and his colleague shows up pretty close to on time and it took them about 2 hours to install the TV. I had bought the Angie's List deal and received a note from Tony that evening already looking to schedule a time and I was able to get him out on Saturday morning with only a few days notice. I was very happy with his responsiveness. The job involved installing a new outlet behind the TV to use for plugging the TV in, running multiple cables through the wall, and hanging the TV on the wall. Tony provided recommendations and advice and I was very happy with the way the job turned out. He even replaced my HDMI cables because mine came up just a little short. All in all - this was a great job and I would absolutely use Evolution Installs again.

A++! Service was exceptional, and Tony responded in a very timely manner. We exchanged emails to discuss my needs and pricing, then Tony was able to schedule an appointment with me within the next day or two. He set up my new TV with all of my additional audio visual components (receiver, cable box, Blueray, and surround sound). He was very knowlegable in all aspects of the systems and was able to do so in approximately one hour. Tony also graciously extended the special pricing that was advertised on Angie's List, even though I was out of the range of their typical service area. I'm very pleased with the service received and would most definitely use them again in the future!

They were excellent! here is quick bullet list of why I would recommend Tony and Music Evolution: -They didn't try to up sell me and gave me honest thoughtful response to my questions (I had many because I was frustrated with the people at Magnolia and Best Buy constantly trying to up sell everything) - They walked me through the equipment I needed, and what I didn't need - They installed all my equipement, and hid the wires brilliantly - They walked me through how every piece of equipment work, and how to trouble shoot if I equipment wasn't working - They were timely and cleaned up after the work was done

Two workmen arrived on time, spent some time exploring various options for running the wires to and from the cable box. The solution they came up with was the least obtrusive, and frankly one that I would not have imagined. They removed some wallboard to bury wires, having covered the floors and furniture to protect against dust. They rerouted the cable to the box outside the house in a way that is not visible. Walls were resealed and smooth, ready for a touch up of paint. In all, the job took about five and a half hours. Music Evolution had done previous work for us in Chicago. I should add that this job was in a summer home in Michigan City, Indiana and so required considerable travel. We are extremely pleased with the results of their work. They are professionals and a delight to work with.

I've absolutely no complaints nor problems with the service I received. Tony and Matt were courteous, professional, and affable. They worked quickly but made sure I understood each step of the process. When the mount I bought proved to be inadequate, Tony swapped it out with one of his own, which proved to be far superior. All of the equipment associated with the plasma is new and they attached it all, taking time to explain everything and they made sure I understood how to use it before they left. Both rooms were left spotless -- probably better than they were before the work was started. I cannot be more pleased with the work they performed and the men themselves. I would recommend them without reservation and will turn to them for all my future a/v needs.
