 + -1 moreEverything went well. Billy came out within hours of my call to look at the problem. Some of the wood was rotten and the frame had shifted. He shored up the bottom the best he could and re-positioned the lock holes so the locks could be engaged.
Description of Work: The door on my attached shed was not closing properly and the locks would not line up and lock.

Description of Work: A few hours after having ABI repair a burst pipe in my kitchen, a bathroom pipe also burst. Billy, the owner, returned to my home within a few hours of my call, even though he had been up all night & working continuously with emergency calls for burst pipes all over the south suburbs. He was brilliant in determining the location of the problem, considering it was behind a ceramic wall in the 2nd floor tub area & the water was only visable in the basement crawlspace. This allowed for minimal demolition of the bath area and the repair of the wall will be far easier than if a break-it-out to find it method was used. Billy truly has an engineer way of thinking about how to best remedy a problem. He is very honest & does not take advantage of a homeowner's desperation when in this type of situation. Even though this was a separate problem from the one he came to fix earlier, he did not charge me the full emergency fee, which he truly would have been justified in charging. ABI offers highly skilled labor & craftsmanship. It is so refreshing to find an honest, skilled, quality & fairly priced contractor. I highly recommend ABI to anyone who needs any kind of work done that ABI provides. I will be scheduling ABI again soon for other projects I need completed with full confidence of a quality job at a fair & reasonable price.

 + 0 moreI couldn't be happier! The owner answered my call himself and arrived within an hour. The work preformed was excellent and efficient. The price was actually less than initially quoted over the phone. When you have such an emergency, contractors usually know how desperate you are and some will take advantage of that type of situation. Not Billy from ABI! He told me the work wasn't as complicated as he thought when we spoke over the phone so he charged me less accordingly. ABI does all types of home repair and remolding work and I plan on using them to do other projects I need done in my home. I highly recommend this company and will refer everyone I know to ABI.

They came out next day at 9:30am and got the job done before 4pm. The service was 100% reliable and the charge was very reasonable. Best professional service hands down!!  + 0 moreCalled the day after we sent an email and had a rep out the next day for a quote. Started the very next day and finished up the day after that. Perfect! Very professional, honest, and congenial.
Description of Work: ABI (Billy) did all sorts of repairs in our house. The fee was based on time only- not the type of job, which I thought was great! electric repair, tub repair, shelves put up, touch ups, and painting. GREAT JOB!!

Description of Work: This company was recommended to me by a friend. We were very happy with the results. They ripped out the tile in our shower because of a leak and replaced the walls with concrete board and then tile. They took their time and did an awesome job. They painted the outside of our house and power washed and painted our deck. They were flexible and easy to wrk with and we are very happy with the job.
