Description of Work: They came in, replaced a capacitor, changed the filters, and made sure the outside unit was clean. I was very relieved that it didn't take more than that to get it running again and that they were able to get there as quickly as they did. I think it was only an hour and a half or so after I called, on a day that was very busy and their computers were down.

+ -1 moreOur AC had made noises so we called Blackies! Service technician came next morning. He checked for problems and finding now asked if wanted a normal service call. Very professional. Also came back to replace filters. He also explained service agreement available.

Description of Work: Called out to look at my radiant floor heating. The owner arrived and was very helpful. When we discussed options, they couldn't beat the price on a boiler system that I could purchase through another vendor. They were fine with that and agreed to install. Squeezed me in the next day and were friendly, quick and professional. System works like new and only charged me the labor.

They were thorough, the quote had all the information we needed. There really wasn't a lot of questions to be asked because I had done a lot of research prior to having them give me the quote.

+ -1 moreIn addition to routine maintainance calls, they came to my house once to repair my central AC. It was hot weather, and in spite of the many calls they were getting at the time, they were able to come quickly, were right on time, and quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair (a relay needed to be replaced). They have arrived very promptly for routine maintainance calls as well. The repair bill I listed is a guess- I do not remember the actual amont, but that is close. I do know I thought it was very reasonable.
Description of Work: I have had them perform routine maintainance for my heating and AC units.and one repair for my AC. I will continue to call on them for future work, as well as duct cleaning.
