quick work- well done

This landscaping company removed old bushes and installed a beautiful landscaping addition to our home. Unfortunately two of the bushes are dying/dead. After a little bit of communication issues the new bushes where put in and look great!

Grading not right big slope in middle of yard instead of to the end of property stairs not right very loose once paid won't return phone calls said he would bring something to help lock stairs together never came back wanted more money then contracted for added 2,ooo more money terrible to do business with!!!!!!!!!

Tom was an excellent landscaper. His quote was fair and he and his crew did an outstanding job. They came on time and worked steady and hard to complete the work. They were willing to go the extra mile to do additional work that I requested, while they were on the job. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone needing their lawn improved.

First, I wanted to have Tom install shade sod in my back yard. He challenged that he has been doing this for 30 years and there is no such thing as shade sod. There was and his team did a nice job installing it. Second, I was told on a Friday that they would be here on Monday. I decided to stay home from work but about 10:30 Tom called to reschedule to Tuesday despite perfect weather conditions. Third, the major reason for my low scores is because the written bid was wrong. After the yard is prepped and they are about to lay the sod, Tom tells us that the quote would only sod HALF of the back yard and that I needed to come up with another $851.50 to sod the whole back yard. Unfortunately, he did not make any price adjustments and I had to pay the extra amount to sod the whole back yard. Sorry. I cannot recommend any company whose bid is not correct and has me pay extra for their mistake. Less than one year later and I have hired another landscape company to redo the work again. (Note: this is my only review I did not give a perfect 5)

Tom is a great guy and his crew is great as well. Tom worked very close with me and had some great ideas that fit into my budget. This was a Big Project and they knocked it out of the park.

Tom came out within 24 hours to give us an estimate. He is honest, hardworking and did such a great job that we hired him for a second project.

Tom came and looked at our yard and listened to what we wanted. He then drew up a plan and estimate. We liked his plan and hired him. Tom's crew came out a week later and completed the job in a day. Tom's crew did an excellent job and did exactly what we wanted. I would recommend Tom to my neighbors.

I went with Tom from Creative Landscape because I thought he was going to do a great job for me and give me a beautiful landscape. After spending almost $7000 to fix up my house, I had to call him out to replace several dead trees/plants. You have to wait awhile after you're finished paying for him to come back and fix/replace anything. And when he did come back I got more dead plants. I have had to replace more than 1/2 of what he planted because it did not survive within the first 12 months. Where they were supposed to dig new flower beds and put in new dirt they left old plastic on the ground and planted new flowers on top of that! Seriously, talk about lazy work. I have become my own landscaping expert after buying and replacing most of what was done. I would NEVER recommend Tom's Creative Landscape to anyone!

We have a low spot in our yard along the rear of the house. Water would pool there in heavy rains and on one occasion made its way into the basement. Had Tom out to add a drain in the low point which now carries the water way into the corner of the yard. Also had them dig out a few mulch beds. I could not be happier with the work they did. The crew was friendly and attentive and took the time to do things right. I will definitely contact Tom again for a brick paver project I have in mind.

Tom was extremely helpful for us as he helped design a new backyard for us. Just moving from Chicago to suburbs we knew nothing about landscape, other than the fact that ours was very ugly, this was very helpful. Plus we had a drainage issue with the backyard flooding, and we didn't know what needed to be done to alleviate the problem. Tom drew out the plan on site for us, talked us through everything and provided a quote on site. I would highly recommend Tom and his business for any one looking to do a landscaping project, with a very high end look for a even a modest budget like ours.

Tom came and looked at our yard and listened to our ideas then drew up a plan based off of our ideas and made some suggestions as well. His team was prompt and did a great job. The project was completed in a timely manner and met and exceeded our expectations. Fair price as we had multiple estimates. I also liked the fact that Tom listened to us and what we wanted and thought looked nice, and did not have a vision in his head and tried to force us to see it his way. Great transaction, will use again.

I liked that he gave us the estimate right away. He and his crew were prompt in getting the job done. We had a brick porch and step put in and it came out better than we thought.

Tom was prompt and courteous with his estimate. His crew worked all day on improving drainage from the side of the house. Put in a sawle, buried downspouts and sodded with new grass. All turned out wonderful. had cheaper estimates but glad I chose Tom. The quality of the work was great.

Tom and his crew came in in timely manner and regraded backyard and installed a 34x18 paver patio that is wonderful. Tom and his crew are very friendly and well prepared to handle job at hand and accomplished it well.

I trusted Tom's vision on the layout of the patio and landscaping. It turned out more then I was expecting. Complete big Patio Paving and Brick project in schedule and within out Budget. We get so many compliments on our front and back Patio Brick Project. Added so much value to our home. Tom was patient and accommodated many changes. Responsive. Work force was professional and friendly. Easy to work with during the entire project.

As part of updating the front yard landscaping, Tom replaced the front porch and walk. The result is fabulous. Tom's walk and plant design works perfectly with our house.

Tom not only resloped he put in a new drainage system for our 45 year old house. They installed a drainage pipe along the entire side of our home,(buried) dug out 2 window wells to the base of the foundation and replaced the old clay window well drains (that were clogged and cracked causing terrible flooding to our basement the last year or so), filed those up with river rock as well as raising the acutual metal well in all four windows. We learned a lot on why we were having so much flooding. His team worded so hard and gave us both a professional job and peace of mind now when it rains!!!

Had at least 5 contractors out for bids on this project. Tom was the best by far. He came out and prepared an itemized bid with drawing on the spot. He beat the lowest bid by over $1,500. The only reason I didn't give him 5 stars is because we did not get approved for a permit due to drainage issues. Tom was the most professional.

Tom was easy to work with and followed through with completing the removal of old patio and installation of new Uniloc pavers as planned. Looks great!

Tom's Creative Landscaping has done projects for us for the last 6 years. His crew is quick, through, and always cleans up the debris. When done, his work looks like it' been there for years. He stands behind his work. Of four quotes, his was the lowest.
