Description of Work: This provider repaired/rebuilt a number of retaining walls and a concrete paver patio and walkway. They were chosen as an alternative to a more complete reconstruction (at a much higher cost) proposed by another provider. Tom's did a very credible job and I am generally satisfied with the resulting quality of the work except for a few minor details, some of which cannot be addressed or are not worth addressing. I graded them as a "B" because of a short, reconstructed wall that does not meet the main wall at a 90 degree angle, not replacing the flexible plastic landscape edging with new material and for ALL their trucks dropping motor oil (and one of them transmission fluid) on my concrete driveway. Tom and his crew were otherwise good folks to deal with and they are clearly capable of performing acceptable hardscape work at a moderate price.

+ 0 moreWe couldn't be more pleased with the work that Tom and his crew provided for our home. Tom had a very competitive bid to provide sump drainage from our house to an existing drain in our subdivision. This work required trenching and burying a 4" line across approximately 90' of lawn. Tom also buried 3 downspouts and added yard drains for them. Tom found a beautiful, mature red maple to place in our backyard and edged existing beds and added mulch. The yard looks fabulous. Tom provided a very competitive quote to install hardscaping to the front of the house (pavers and stone). At this point we have not pulled the trigger but his ideas, quality and price make it very tempting. Would highly recommend Tom and his team for a landscaping job.

+ -1 moreA real disappointment. After telling Tom what I needed I thought he understood the goals of my project. I was wrong. Some things were completed OK, others were shoddy. After I had a sidewalk poured I needed the form excavations filled in and compacted. They were filled in but only part of the sidewalk length packed down. I had to complete this part myself. I had the front yard grass lifted so that settling could be filled in and compacted. The sod was removed with only a thin layer of dirt sprinkled in and the sod replaced. It's already starting to settle. Now I will have to pay another contractor to re-do the job.
Description of Work: Backfill with topsoil voids left from sidewalk pour. Fill-in front yard settling and re-lay existing sod.
