They are excellent. they follow through the quality workmanship, very skilled, they are considerate on our property and they did a great job.

I cannot recommend Mike Hoorelbek and his team enough. They removed shrubs, small trees and large tree roots, in addition to clearing the ground for our new walkway, patio and retaining wall. The work was done in a timely manner (2 weeks), they were very communicative throughout the process and the final product looks amazing. They checked in with us when things came up to give us the ability to make decisions, which we really appreciated. Their work has more than doubled our enjoyment of our outdoor space. Great work!

Collegiate was referred to us by Wasco nursery. We provided Mike a description of what we were looking for in our patio (dimensions, purpose and intended use) and our budget. Mike designed exactly what we wanted. His suggested materials and layout turned out perfectly. He was engaged throughout the entire project and made sure we were satisfied all along the way. His installation team was professional and conscientious. We are extremely pleased with the patio and would highly recommend Collegiate Landscape. We will use them again

Mike was responsive to my online request, worked with us to get the right price for the services, and fit us in sooner rather than later. His men are professional and do a great job. I was at Ground Effects in Yorkville looking at pavers for a new patio when they recommended Collegiate Landscape as very good at professional installations. The owner, Mike Hoorelbek, did the estimate. He was friendly and knowledgeable with an emphasis on doing the installation right. His estimate was in the middle of the others and I felt confident he would do a good job. The project took three days to complete. The old patio was broken up with a jack hammer and the material was removed by wheel barrel which was a lot of work for his crew. The pavers were brought in from the street by wheel barrel, too. Again it was more work but it left no ruts in the yard. Mike stated that his policy was to make it look like they were never there. So no heavy equipment in the yard. His team did an excellent installation which included two steps under two patio doors. I highly recommend Collegiate Landscape for paver installations.

Responsiveness from initial call thru quoting and start of job was very good. Lead time was 6 weeks, but well worth the wait. Price was fair, not the lowest and not the highest, but extra care was taken with the job and they were very professional. For example, the driveway base was deeper than recommended by Unilock. Paver pattern was uniform and color placement of bricks was even and eye appealing. Received several comments on how straight the brick placement is and how beautiful it looks. The walkway from the driveway to the front porch was expanded and built to compliment the slope of our front lawn. It blends in perfectly. The crew was extremely hard working, cleaned up thoroughly when they were done and very polite. We received glowing recommendations about Mike (owner) and Collegiate Landscape from a neighbor as well as Unilock, and they were so right. We had approx 10-12 other quotes for either concrete or brick pavers from other contractors. Collegiate Landscape was definitely the best choice.
