+ -1 moreHad siding done on my home and there had to be a different problem almost every step in the project head by Dean H - First after picking our siding wasn’t notified that the type of siding wasn’t Available on the day of projected work to start - so we where forced to pick different siding in a selection of maybe only 5 choices much different from the original 50 or so previous shown - in addition are start date was pushed back serval months - a window was also to be put in and no measurements where made - but again this was pushed back also and was giving only one choice of window - When the project was started mid way through Dean tryed to shake me down for additional money saying there wasn’t enough material and I requested only half the house to be done , - I asked him what kind of customer gets only have of a house sided !!??? I reminded him there was a contract sign for the whole house . And lo and behold there was plenty of material already present on the property - and then some . Dean simple wanted to rip me off . After it was done I never want to deal with Dean again - he wanted cash because he said he gets a cash commission? I think he was skimming probably being doing it for years -

Description of Work: I had ABC Roofing & Siding replace my roof and gutters in the summer of 2019. Gutter was badly done and poorly managed. They left a large amount of nails around the house. I spent over a week collecting the hardware off the ground. Gutter team was sloppy and uncourteous. Few months later, I had a problem with icicle dripping in a very repetitive and annoying fashion at a couple of places around the gutter. I called them for help but they flatly refused to even show up to investigate my grievance. Tried many time to contact their customer service & sales office. No return calls. Nothin! It is too early to tell if the Roofing was done correctly but the Roofing team was courteous and helpful. All in all I can’t recommend them as there are plenty of reputable more responsive roofers around the area. Warranty is an important part of the work scope and I just don’t feel confident that they will back me up if I have a problem. I hope that I don’t have to resort to legal action to enforce my roof warranty if a problem arises.

+ 0 moreI told them i wanted my own contractor to do it. They refused to do that. My insurance company spoke with me, they are not going to pay for the additional damage, so now i am stuck with 10,300 dollars of damage to the interior of my house and i have 1600 dollars to pay for it.
Description of Work: They installed my roof in Feb of 2016, after it was leaking from hail damage. With in a week, shingles came off the roof and the roof leaked, within two months of installation i had a second leak. Within seven months of installation i had a third leak. They fixed all three leaks, now i interior damage to my house. My insurance company gave me 1600 dollars for the original damage, to the inside of my house. Which i mistakenly gave to ABC because i didn't realize it was included in the final check. for he roofing job. They never told me they had my 1600 dollars which they had for a year. I would have never found out had i mnot called my insurance company and requested the money. They gave me my check back but they had it for a year without telling me. I never fixed the original fdamage because everythime the roof leaked ABC told me to wait. In case there was additional leaks and they promised they would take care of the additional damage. So after the third leak i waited two months and then called three drywall contractors to get three estimates. the contractors did between 9000 and 10000 to do the repairs. I called ABC to discuss payment which should have 10,300- 1600 fom ythe insurance check which would equal 8,700. ABC said there was no way they were paying for it. They sent out one of the there own contractors who does dry wall and they tried to say that the damage could be sanded and painted for 4000 dollars when the drywall was infact peeling and there is mold in the drywall, so there is no wasy that it could be sanded and painted. I told them they are not a drywall comoany, they are a roofing compnay so why would i have them do my drywall when they cant even do my roof right for 6000 dollars less than what the professionals ar willing to do for it.

Description of Work: They cam out to look at my roof. When I told him I had a leak, he said they don't do repairs, just new roofs. He looked at the roof and said we have at least 6 years left on it and told me a few places to check for the leak. Seemed very honest and I would call them again if needed.

+ 0 moreThey kept in the schedule and delivered everything they promised. There was a glitch that showed up with the gutters, they ordered the wrong material collar and they basically had to put the full crew off for full day and there was no problem with that.
Description of Work: They did a complete reroof of the house with an attached garage and a separate garage. They also did about 600 feet of gutters.

Description of Work: Replace roof, siding, and gutters due to hail damage. We added some upgrades at our own cost, such as gutter guards, and they were very reasonable. Also installed the new exterior lights we purchased and they installed them gratis. They were very neat and cleaned up everyday. Polite and courteous. Answered all of our questions and concerns as they arose.

+ -1 moreDon't waste your time with this company. Their salesman finally came out to look at the work we needed done after several calls to their office. He never even wrote up a quote. Still had to chase them down for that and a date they would do the work. Then the crew kept putting us off time and time again. When they did finally show up, one of them wreaked of beer. They fixed one of the issues however the first rain storm and we had the same leak that we paid them to fix. DON'T CALL THESE PEOPLE!!!
Description of Work: Patched roofing next to fireplace chimney where squirrels and racoons damaged. Tarred around chimney. SAID they patched and tarred leak on peak of roll roofing over family room.

+ -1 moreWork team was prompt, efficient, stayed on task, and cleaned up all debris when the work was completed. I asked for pictures before the work was scheduled so I could see the condition of the previous shingles, which were only 13 years old. He also took pics of the chimney flashing which he said was the worst he had ever seen. I agreed--it looked terrible. The previous roofer did a terrible job on the flashing, and this was the source of my largest indoor water stain. ABC did the work in bitterly cold, windy weather, and I'm not sure they took any breaks! The estimate was handled very professionally, and I was given answers to all of my questions, with adequate explanation. Company rep also followed up with me upon completion of the work. I would certainly highly recommend ABC Roofing.
Description of Work: ABC Roofing did a do-over on my roof. There was just one layer of shingles already on the roof. The chimney flashing was totally redone.

+ 0 moreLabor day weekend, our neighborhood was hit by a severe hail storm which caused damage to our roof. The next week, we were inundated with "storm chasers" wanting to repair our roof and promising us the moon. I chose to research roofing companies on my own and chose ABC Roofing based on their Angie's List reviews, as well as their BBB rating. They were not a part of the "storm chasers" that came from as far away as Wisconsin, which I appreciated. I obtained 4 quotes for the replacement of our roof and ABC Roofing had the best pricing using comparable materials. On the day the work was to begin, ABC Roofing sent a crew of 8 workers out to do the job so that they could complete the project in one day. We greatly appreciated that, as we didn't really want a roll-off in our driveway for several days and just didn't want the hassle of a multi-day project. Many of our neighbors who chose the "storm chaser" companies are still waiting for their new roofs, or had to deal with several day projects. The crew was here early in the morning and completed the job just before it got dark. The following day, we found some nails in the driveway where the roll-off had been, as well as a few in the yard. I called ABC and within an hour, a crew was at our house to resolve the issue. A few weeks later, we had an issue with some leaking coming from something related to the fireplace stack. I called ABC and again, within an hour a crew was here and the issue was resolved. I cannot say enough about their customer service and their response to issues that have come up. Also, during the process of narrowing down service providers, Mark (the owner) was always accessible and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend ABC Roofing for your roofing needs.

Provided the only very detailed quote along with a copy of licensing, their insurance, and reference list out of the 5 companies I received quotes from. BBB had a AAA rating for them even though they had 4 compalins they appeared to have all been resolved and were in business since 1990. Out of the 5 quotes they were the lowest bidder with the most professional presentation and were able to complete the job from tearoff , re-roof and clean up in 1 day. Very good to work with Mark!

Because I am selling that home, I needed to get the roof done, but didn't wanted to pay any more than I have to pay and I got a substantial discount by following his suggestion. I was really happy when I found him and he did an excellent job. He kept me updated and sent me all the information via e-mail. He said exactly what he said he would do and it was done quickly.

They were very thorough in the clean-up around our home and were very protective of our plants in the flower beds. I scheduled three vendors to come out and do estimates for our new roof and ABC was by far the best overall.

They didn't call or leave a message. I finally called them after waiting 20 minutes past the appointment. When I called, the guy said "Oh yeah. I probably should have called you. We can't come today." He didn't offer any other solutions but asked me to reschedule. Very frustrated with their lack of professionalism. We will use someone else.

I walked over and asked and they were able to do the job on the spot. I was very happy with how quickly they did a project that would have been a whole lot of trouble to contract out -- it took about 10 minutes. I appreciated ABC's willingness to add to their workload on what had already been a productive day.

+ -1 moreI researched Angie's List and received 8-10 quotes ranging from $4775 to $9390 for the same job. Same shingle manufacturer and shingle, but some variations in vents. In some cases, the permit was an extra charge (not with ABC Roofing). Some companies wanted a down payment (not ABC Roofing) and most would not accept credit cards (ABC roofing did). One company specifically indicated that they would not be responsible for any damage to my driveway from their equipment. ABC had all the right answers to my questions but I was concerned that they were the cheaper of all the quotes. They provided a list of references and I called several in my area and all were quite complementary to ABC Roofing. After making the decision to use ABC Roofing, we had several rainy days and they were not able to complete the work. The first day that the weather was good, they completed the work while my wife and I were at work. Their cleanup was good and the roof looks very nice. Only time will tell if the job was performed properly, but based on the references, I feel sure that it was.
