New Dimensions Landscaping

They were very prompt in returning my initial phone call and flexible in terms of coming out to give me an estimate. I wanted my husband to be here, so they were able to come in the early evening. After discussing the work we wanted done, we never heard back from them with the actual plan and estimate of cost. Perhaps our job was too small?

Great people - good job. Noting the man hours it took to do the job I thought the price was too high; of course I must take some blame for next setting after estimate.

I contacted New Dimensions to give me a quote on a retaining wall. They called back promptly and set up a time to meet with me within a few days of the initial call. New Dimensions came out and gave me ideas for the wall. A quote quickly followed. They were VERY reasonable with their quote. They came out another time to go over the wall design again and with samples. The project was to begin on a Monday and finish the next day. They held true to their word. The work was done when they said, the workers were very friendly and professional, and they did an outstanding job cleaning up. The owner is very knowledgeable and gave us many suggestions that made the project look even better. We are going to us them again for another project and probably for more down the road.

New Dimensions has been wonderful. I love working with a family-run business. They have been helpful in every way with suggestions for landscaping, trees and even helped remove a stump from an arborvitae that had fallen over the winter. They are doing a much better job a lawn maintenance than the previous company we used - they take the clippings away and don't just dump them in our treeline for one! Very responsive to phone calls, too - everyone has been very easy to work with.

They did more than I asked them to and they didn't charge any extra.

This is simply the best company I've dealt with in a long time. My initial call was returned within 1 hour, and within 24 hours, Nancy and Sam were at my home to review the work and get the information they needed to provide a quote, which I had later that same day. Within 48 more hours, I had their contract and they performed the work. The work was done exactly as I had asked, and looks beautiful ! We are considering more extensive landscaping in the future, and will only work with New Dimensions. Simply excellent !

I got them from Angie's List and they were wonderful. They did what they said they were going to do, and they did it on time. We had a conflict once and they couldn't show up but they called and tried to work around it. They were really good. They were right on what we estimated and weren't high or low. I had gotten 2-3 estimates and they were right in there, so I would say that they were good on pricing and right in what was expected. They worked through the first snow that hit during that time even though they were in my yard. The receptionist in their office is wonderful. She even came out one day to translate for the female that was coming out because I wanted something done. She was really good. I am having them come out in April to help me with the rest of the yard. Yard work is expensive, so we are doing it in phases and they are going to come back and help me get through it.

Very, very well. Very nice people, extremely competent service, and very very communicative. I could not have been more pleased about their work. It was great value for the work they did.

They are very prompt with phone call and getting the job done. The only thing we did not like about them is that they put mulch under the trees which was cheap. The actually planting was good. I did send them an email about this and they did respond to it. The other work they did was good.

Nancy was able to come out the day after my call, and I had an estimate mailed to me about 2 days later. She answered a couple of questions promptly and we were able to schedule the work just a few days later. All in all the work was done 1 week after my call...very prompt compared to the other contractors I called. The actual work took one day, and the end result was everything I could hope for. The lawn looks great and the french drain works great, and I haven't had any seepage in my basement since (despite some significant rain). The price was very competitive, they were able to do the job weeks before anybody else I contacted, and they were polite and professional throughout. A+++, highly recommend!

The Story To be honest with you, my husband fell and quot;in likeand quot; with the Landscape Team Leader and his apparent experience in landscape design. When we discussed alternative contractors, my husband kept pointing out the overriding benefits of the Team Leader, and we opted for New Dimensions. (NB: He is primarily Spanish speaking, however, the messages we were sending were properly delivered by the Estimator and received correctly by the Team Leader--See end of story!) After a few negotiation discussions, we agreed on a contract to focus on the back yard where we had the most problems with drainage, plantings, etc. Follow-up was timely, consistent, and pleasant (there was some heel-dragging on our part). The date was and quot;settledand quot; upon because we wanted the work done relatively early in the season, and we had to allow for Mother Nature to do what she does--remember the water flow issues. The office was fairly consistent in keeping in touch with us regarding the start date. (I understood that this is their high-volume season for phone calls, and the fact that we had a start date based on rain accumulation or the lack thereof.) The BIG DAY arrived...hubby working out of the house that day said the team arrived on time (8:00 a.m.), and they were still working when I got home from work at 4:30 p.m. The Results When I came home the driveway was blocked by a mountain of mulch. I walked out to the back yard, and--no kidding, I almost wanted to cry. We had a number of mismatched perennials that were given to me by family and friends. I planted them by simply jamming then in the ground to and quot;see if it grows.and quot; Life took over, and they never got re-arranged. We gave the Team Leader permission to and quot;do your job well because you are the expert.and quot; He did his job well! I was shocked by how pretty the yard looks now. His team trimmed our birch and pussywillow trees back so they no longer overtake the yard, but becomes part of the landscaping. He removed a nuisance bush and replaced it with new bushes, they mulched and trimmed, and most importantly, they expanded the beds--HUGE visual improvement! Love 'em!

Called New Dimentions. They came out about a week later looked at problems and said they would email a quote.Check my email for 2 weeks. Thought maybe the lost my information. Called and left a message leaving all informationon voicemail. Waited for another week, called again. They never called back or sent me any information. Based on that I would recommend that this company be avoided.So unprofessional!!!!

New Dimensions was responsive and prompt to arrive for our request for an estimate. Follow up with the quote was slower than promised and further follow up was also slow. When estimate was sent the price was competitive for a 21' retaining wall. We decided to take a different approach to the project ND quoted.

I like them as they are really easy to get a hold of. They are a small family business and take a lot of pride in the work they do. When they come they normally do more than what I ask them to do. They are really awesome. They seem to be reasonable.

It’s a father and son team. They are family business. It was an emergency for me because what was under the hedge was making my dog sick. They were able to come out and completed the work within two days. They were worked really hard. They were awesome. I have recommended them to others.

They arrived at 7:45 and worked straight through, finishing up before 2:00 PM. They were remarkably efficient, quick and effective. We did not shop around sufficiently to estimate whether the price we paid was at or above the going market rate for this job. But we felt fine about paying these men for doing the job so well. They seemed professional, honest and straightforward. I would call them again.

All calls and issues are promptly resolved.

They come in regularly. They did a great job with the walk way and the lighting. I like them because they know what they are doing. They are always punctual. They come in at 7.00 am in the morning and they work very quietly. You can probably find landscaping companies that are cheaper than them, but you can’t find a better one.

They dug and placed a level retaining wall then filled it in with limestone and tamped it down. It was very sturdy when finished. Almost like concrete. Perfectly level. Also, it was muddy from the rain and they took precautions by putting boards down where they were working so they didn't tear up the lawn.

As you can see from the photos, the work is first rate. The beds for the tall grass and flower beds fit the dimensions of the yard, the repaired paver walkway looks the way we had envisioned it, the plants they put in are healthy and hearty, the bedding is perfect, the bald cyprus is thriving. The place looks like a photo layout in Better Homes and Gardens. They cleaned up everything before they left and then, about an hour later, we heard voices behind the garage. Sam and Sam had remembered that a hole left when a tree was removed had not been filled: they drove all the way back a half-hour drive and were filling in the hole despite its location where no one would notice. That's quality! They came back and opened the pump room cover under the pavers in the back yard patio and then came back and re-sealed the lid and re-set the pavers so perfectly you can't tell they had ever been disturbed.

They were great service overall and recomended to other.

They did a fabulous job and I’m very happy with them. They provided quality service and took extra care to make sure that everything looked right. They took pride in their work, and I appreciated that.

The project went very well. The two men were here when they said they would be. They gave us choices on lights, brick patterns and layout. As the project progressed, we were able to adjust and adapt without feeling we were over-burdening the men. They made some excellent suggestions. We would recommend them whole heartedly.

It went fine overall. I was very satisfied with the service and responsiveness because of their ability to provide a good estimate and then on the work that was done afterwards. It took them about three days to complete it, which was appropriate by my standards.

I was very impressed with his level of promptness but I never got an estimate.
