Description of Work: I called New Dimensions the week of April 22nd and Nancy and Sam came out on Sunday, 4/28. Nancy e-mailed me the estimate later the same day. The project was originally scheduled for Tuesday, 5/7 but Nancy called me early that day to let me know that some of the material they needed for the project wouldn't be available until Saturday, 5/11. They arrived about 8:30 on Saturday and got right to work. They did several jobs for me including setting up two raised beds for my garden, trimming bushes, leveling and re-seeding part of the front and a section of my back lawns, and doing some Spring cleanup on the north side and front of my house (including new wood chips). Sam and the crew did a great job, and even mowed my front AND back lawn (the front needed to be done so they could level the lawn with dirt and spread seed and they also put up some screening around one of my raised beds to keep animals out). I am very happy with their work and feel that their price was fair. With the exception of a few minor communications problems, these guys did a very nice job!

Description of Work: They dug out and installed a drainage pipe for ground water, replaced the sod after we had the driveway installed.

 + -1 moreThey did everything in 2 days, and the place looks great! They called before they arrived, they were very punctual and professional. Sam was great, and so was his son. They are very nice people and they did an excellent job. I highly recommend them, and would use them again in the future!
Description of Work: They built us a brick patio for our townhouse. The area was about 322 sq. ft. Our ground was slightly sloped, but they did a great job leveling it.

 + -1 moreIt was an excellent experience. They were very professional and adapted to the circumstances (no previous base discovered). They gave suggestions and were willing to make design changes as we went along. It turned out better than we expected or anticipated. This was a result of the workmanship and expertise. They left sample recessed lights overnight so we could see them in the dark. The finished product was excellent.
Description of Work: An existing brick walkway was removed, a new gravel base was installed, the antique bricks were power washed and re-installed and recessed lights were installed.

Once the village permits were received, New Dimensions started work within a week. Once Sam started to install the patio and walkway, he had additional suggestions to make it look even better. Any time I had to leave a message, the phone call was returned that day or the morning of the next day. Service was great! Work was excellent! Cleaned up after work was completed. We liked the quality of work and service so much, we canceled our weekly lawn maintenance service with another company and signed with New Dimensions. Lawn was mowed/edged better than we have ever had before. Even neighbors made a comment on how nice it looked.
Description of Work: Removed concrete patio. Installed a new brick patio and walkway. Walkway had to blend in and connect to existing flagstone stairs. Removed some existing evergreens and replanted them based on the design of the patio.

There were a number of obstacles to overcome and Sam and NDLI came up with workable solutions in every case. The result is that the place looks the way we had envisioned it, the hardscape detailing is wonderful and the plants are perfect. Several times we mentioned things we'd like but couldn't figure out a way to make them work and Sam came up with practical and cost-effective solutions, boosting the project's value at very little extra cost and making us very happy with the results. The crew is professional and thorough, all the plants survived planting or moving and the place was clean as a whistle every day. We couldn't be happier. Their estimate was in the middle of the pack, the negotiated additions and changes were fair: a great job!
Description of Work: NDLI provided hardscape and landscape services working from blueprints we had done ourselves over the previous winter. These called for clearing out a large, fenced-in door-yard, removing existing plants (saving some for replanting), moving a gate in the board-on-board fence to line up with the new paver sidewalk leading from the driveway and main entrance, laying a new paver patio adjacent to the kitchen door and on top of an underground pump room that requires access through the roof for maintaining the well pump, and then planting and landscaping the door-yard and area adjoining the driveway entrance area. Because of problems with work provided by a previous landscaper, we asked Sam to fix the paver sidewalk to the front door, too. Sam's daughter, accompanied us to several wholesale nurseries where we were able to pick out the trees and shrubs we wanted. The beds were tilled with mushroom compost and the plants positioned carefully.

They were very professional, prompt and courteous. Both Sam and Sam Jr. were on the job each day and were hard workers along with their crew. They went above and beyond our expectations, Sam Sr. also made suggestions on some of our plants and was willing to transplant some of our plants and remove those that were not thriving as well. The final job was beautiful and they were very good about cleaning up the job sight. I thank them very much and would call them first for future work.
Description of Work: Dry well installed in front yard with down spouts and sump pump tied into it. Installation of plant beds around deck with mulch. Front beds cleaned out and new mulch installed.
