Jack’s Landscaping

My husband hired them in 2001. Then, both our neighbors hired Jacks because of their reasonable rates and great service. They came once a week and the lawn looked great. Also had them thatch/power rake every other year. In 2012 due to limited income I had to maintain the lawn myself. Sure did miss them....especially in November when my fall clean-up produced 23 bags of packed leaves for the front yard alone. They make the lawn look effortlessly well - manicured. I have re-hired then with a contract beginning Sept.1st 2013 as I will have tenants in the home. Note: I did write them a personal letter when I had to stop service ( my husband's passing ). Advised them what wonderful service. I never received an acknowlegement. When I called to reinstate service I gort a lukewarm, if not monotone response from the woman who answered the phone. In fact, had to call them back after 24 hours because no return phone call. Shared with her that I was so happy to have them back. Response was less than warm - went something like: ..."so when did you want to start service again. No mention of a welcome back or sorry to hear of your husban's passing. A different figurehead answering the phone would be in Jack's best interest.

I would absolutely give them an A+. They came out every time there is more than two inches on the ground, and they charge more if there is more than 8 inches. There is no doubt that I will hire them again next year. They give you a choice of plowing or snow blowing the driveway and shoveling the walks. I chose the snow blowing, which is easier on our landscaping. I checked with my neighbors because I was not here when they came, and they were on time, professional, and did a good job. I was very happy and would use them again.
