Exclusive Lawn Care Inc

I called Exclusive Lawn Care, Inc. the week of March 5, 2012 and spoke to the owner, James Babinski asking him to provide an estimate for spring cleanup services, edging, shrub trimming and multching. He said that he would be right over as he lived in my village 5 minutes away. I waited an hour and a half until he arrived. His excuse for lateness was that he stopped at his bank to conduct business and was delayed. We walked my property and I explained my needs. I asked him to send or deliver a written quote giving him my email address. During our conversation he stated that he was in the process of starting a motorcycle shop and that he raced motorcycles. He said that he did not have a permanent crew and that he was limiting his landscaping services this year because of his involvement with the motorcycle shop. He stated that he had help available and could assemble a crew to complete the proposed work on a timely basis. He said he would provide a written proposal in a day or two. I waited for his proposal until March 16 at which time I sent him an email requesting his proposal. it is March 21 and I have yet to hear from him. He is, in my opinion, unreliable and probably more concerned with launching his motorcycle shop business than attending to his landscape and lawn care business. We should accommodate his desire by relieving him of any landscape and lawn care responsibility.

Overall they are great. There was one time they missed our property, they apologized and of course, did not charge us for that week. my only complaint is that i have called them a couple of times about other work (once last year and once this year) and did not receive a call back. all i could assume is that they didn't want the job. we called someone else.

They never showed up.

I contacted James regarding lawn aeration services for me and a few of my neighbors on a Monday. He visited our neighborhood the next day to confirm size of the lots and cost of services. He took the time to explain the advantages of waiting until after the pending rain to perform the aeration and was out the following Monday to perform the aeration service. James agreed to provide us a volume discount due to the fact six of us in the neighborhood decided to have our lawns aerated at the same time. James was responsive, helpful, and professional. I will not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Excellent work. He and his helper cleared the walks by the street and upto our front door. He will also apply salt to the walk and driveway. I will call him again for help with the snowfall.

Two words - "Awesome Service". When James came in for estimate, he was very thorough in his inspection. He explained to me what needs to be done and why. And then he gave me an estimate that was very competitive with respect to others. When I was trying to set up a date for Fall Clean up, I was very surprised by his professionalism when he told me that "it is expected to rain on Wednesday". This shows how serious James is about his work and does not overlook tiny details. Eventually when the whether cleared, James came in on time and completely revamped my yard. He went beyond what was written in contract and did a superb job. Nice going James !
